It's the last chapter of the volume which means back to hibernation after this.
Anyway last time though hard Kanade was having fun with all the fancy footwork, jumps and lifts that the pas de six required. However her partner, Yuuki, wasn't quite up to snuff and felt down on himself after seeing the strides that Akito had made. Especially as, having other things he wants to do next year, he couldn't feel as committed to working extra hard though Mitosho did convince him to put in the effort.
At the studio Kanade -- late because she had to renew her passport -- ran into Yuuki and was surprised to see him there since he didn't have practice that day. But he specificed he was looking to do it and to practice but later said he was thinking of pulling out since he was worried about dragging everyone down. Kanade wondered if he didn't want to dance with her but he insisted that wasn't it.
Over the next month the two practiced and Mitosho eventually picked up on Yuuki doing it because he's been crushing hard on Kanade. By the time of the recital Shouko and Julia were nervous due to to the increased number of people in attendance -- mostly there to see Kanade -- but Kanade reassured them. The three long time friends, who'd all started at Takimoto's studio at the same time, promised to do their best for their last event together.

Kanade's really come a long way. Way at the start of the series of course she was one of those little kids inspired to dance because of Risa. Now she's inspiring other kids to join the way Risa inspired her.
So Kurisu regrets that as much as she wanted to raise Sakura to be a strong dancer who could stand on her own that she forgot to actually raise and spend time with her as a mother.
Well that's certainly an image to end on. Anyway that's the end of the volume which means it'll be a few months before the next volume and new scanlations show up. See you then.

There's always fidning the magazine raws to give you an idea I guess. I do hope there's follow up to the Kurisu-sensei stuff though and Kanade has to have a proper goodbye (for now) with Risa.

Probably this arc will continue one or two chapters more and end in the next volume, like happened with the YAGP arc in this volume. And I really don't want to read raws, I wait until the translator finish the volume and then read it xD

I spoiled myself on the raws up to I think chapter 70 or so originally but the only site I could find them on was LHScan and that site is basically like crawling through a sewer of digital AIDS.

Not sure if there are may differences on the tankoubon but the translations seem to gloss over many things compared to the mag raws.

For example here Sakura says "She's so light" and Ema: "She's riding the sound". Basically stuff like that, specific comments are reduced to something generic.

I think I'm gonna drop this. My favorite character is Shouko and she barely gets any screen time and when she does is usually to get bullied. Being a Shoukofag is suffering.
