Me and my friend have a weird mandela effect thing with this, and wanna see if anyone else remembers it the same way we do.
Tambourine smashes his skull with his kick.
Green nigga fucking kills him and goku hunts him down and murders green nigga
rapelol
>goku hunts him down and murders green nigga
>and murders green nigga
Goku hunts him down and jobs (at first)
ambushed by Tambourine
You don't see it happens in the manga. Son Goku just rushes to him and he's laying on the ground.
Tamborine kills him, while going back to get Goku's dragonball.
bump. if this thread hits page 10 again I'll share what we both thought happened
Kicked in the face and having his neck snapped by Piccolo's minion
Wasnt it 3 times, once from OPs pic, again on Namek and then Buu with everyone else.
One of Piccolo's underlings, the fat one as I remember it.
he gets merc'd by tambourine
Goku forced him to kiss his wife
Krillin slapped Bulma's Ass while saying "Bueno Dias" to her.
Tambourine breaks his neck.
Aids
after months of chemo, he died close to his loved ones
he gets kicked in the head irrc
Well shit. Most of you seem to remember correctly-- what actually happens is that he gets killed offscreen by a monster that ends up being Tambourine. You don't actually see it happen in the anime, maybe you do in the manga idk.
Me and my friend BOTH independently remembered that Krillin had been shot dead. We both remembered thinking it was weird, cause everyone gets peppered with bullets by Launch and seems to be fine. It was a weirdly gruesome/realistic death for Dragon Ball at the time.
besides the fact that you and your friend are dumb you do get to see it in the anime. it is in fact an anime-only flashback
ah, I guess you see it later at some point?
it's just so weird that we both remembered it wrong in the exact same way. makes me wonder if we saw the same obscure bootleg animation or some shit
He had his neck broke, hasn't him?
Piccolo killed him and left a mark behind.
Talking about gruesome deaths on Dragon Ball, the Z Warriors vs Saiyans battle still give me shivers. I always thought Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Tien and Piccolo's deaths were to heavy for a kid to watch.
>maybe you do in the manga idk
You don't.
The whole scene in the manga is like a page or two long.
The anime made his death much more dramatic by dragging it out.
Vegeta getting his ass beaten by Final Form Freeza was brutal.
Recoome snapping Gohan's neck.
Freeza spinning around Krillin....ok that was kinda funny(especially in the dub "Ride 'em cowboy") but the moment he pierced Krillin before he started spinning him around was pretty damn brutal.
Falcon knee.
anime is great honestly. I like the manga overall for its breakneck pacing that really takes you on a ride but krillin death in the show was really haunting and truly exacerbated how stakes were going to be higher during that arc
>anime is great honestly.
It's ok. They did the best they could with the budget they had.
Some filler is pretty meh though.
Krillin death is one of the few scenes which were improved in the anime...especially with that peerless Kikuchi composition in the background. Still gives me chills in my spine just remembering the scenes. Even the shitty Funi dub did that scene justice.
DBZ anime is the one that suffers much much more though.
Yeah he and Roshi both get killed by picolo senior
He gets killed by Tambourine after the 22th tournament, he also gets killed by Freeza after the Genki dama fails.
By some monster. Goku skips a meal because he is worried about him.
Then Freeza happens.
That's not what happened ASS WIPE BITCH. He got blown up by Friaza on Namek
This whole saga is brutal, from Raditz to Freeza. Not only the what happens in the battles, but the tone.
why does toei seemed to love ruining subtle moments like this in the series?
the ketchup was expired.
>t. american
That scene in the anime is actually amazing
I remember him getting one shotted by some green thing
Doesn't one of piccolo's minions break his neck?
I'm probably wrong because I've never seen dragon ball
Frieza asplodes him. The Kai dub is the best version of this scene, where he panics and screams for Goku to help him a split second before dying. I still get chills watching it.
I went back to this moment in the manga a while ago and I actually prefer how the anime did it. In the manga he just goes offscreen for a sec then suddenly KRILLIN'S DEAD in the other room. In the anime you get a scene of Krillin waving goodbye to everyone as he's fetching Goku's stuff and Goku running back in a panic, it's good shit even if it's dragged out for time.
