Easy. You just do a tournament arc, where all the rivals and heroes get to have a go at eachother. Obviously all of the heroes win their matches. The end.

It's going to end with a Battle Olympia.

Kurpika has a battle royale with the phantom trope, gon never gets his powers back and becomes a top person in the world of academia surpassing people like his dad in archaeology. Leorio gets his own hospital that focuses on nen users. Gons dad and the rat guy die because of their vices, pride and arrogance. Neteros son fights the evil prince serial killer guy and dies. The evil prince becomes ruler of the dark continent and lives there. He gets thousands of women shipped to him by his home country every month to experiment with and torture with the things from the dark continent. Killua finds out his sister is from the dark continent and she doesn't want to leave there because her real family lives in the dark continent so killua leaves her and battles his family, wins to become head of the zoldckys. The world outside of the dark continent unites in order to fend off any threats from the dark continent.
The end. Most realistic ending that could be done easily and be somewhat cool in a short time.

We haven't seen him in action or even what he looks like. Hell, for all we know, he might be Meruem 2.0 in terms of strength. I also suspect that he will kill Ging. There is no better way to become the most important rival for Gon. I don't think he will kill one of Gon's friends, because Leorio and Killua are guaranteed to survive the series, while Kurapika is likely to die, but in his own story.
Just for fun, someone should go through the manga page by page and see what are all the loose ends so far. The big ones that I can think of are:
>Gon and Hisoka rematch
>Hisoka taking out the spiders
>Kurapika vs Chrollo
>Gon meeting Gyro
>Killua vs Illumi
>Pariston and his secret plan
>Whatever the dark continent has to offer
I think Togashi can wrap things up in two arcs.
The ongoing arc will wrap up the story for Kurapika, Chrollo, the spiders and the prince. Hisoka, Pariston and Illumi will carry over into the final arc. The final arc will be the dark continent arc, and it will wrap up the story for the rest of the cast.

It all depends on his nen ability and how smartly he uses it. I doubt that he is as strong as the royal guard or Meruem. But even some of the less impressive Chimera ants have been a hassle to deal with. Most of them only lost because they couldn't keep up with the game of wits. Gyro seems like someone who could keep up with the main characters.
