It's clearly going to be yuri as Oshii had said, except Oshii also said it would be a lighthearted and comedic slapstick comedy, even saying that it would remind people of Urusei Yatsura and Lum. These character designs and almost all of the other visuals and promotional art make it look like it's going to be a story-focused drama though.
