New technology. Japan's trying out multilayer-reading technology where their BD player accepts up to 12 discs and layers them together.
In this case you have (from left to right):
1) Background
2) Fem MC + Voice*
3) Male MC + Voice*
4) Music
5) BGM + Other Voices*
The coolest thing about this is definitely being able to filter out which one you want to see. So you can choose to watch the movie without the Male MC in it if you wish or just the movie without any of the MCs if you're worth any salt.
Also note that the ones labeled with an asterisk are actually new BD technology that capable of pseudo-layering so instead of getting 3 more BDs, you only have the 5. Pretty good and pretty smart.
I'm buying this.
