Most of Zeke's anti-natalist thing probably came from him being scared that his parents were angry at him and blaming himself for ever being born to make them end up in that situation. Voted yes. The vast majority of readers seem to think Ackerslavery was a lie Eren made up to hurt Mikasa (for one reason or another) or at least hugely exaggerated. It would be an interesting twist if Eren was telling the truth and "he did this to chase AM away" turns out to be wishful thinking on both their and the fans' parts. Alternatively, it would also be nice to see one of the alliance members (anyone really, I'm not picky) get cold feet over killing Eren at the eleventh hour, and refusing to do it in spite of it being their only option to stop him. If it turns out Eren actually did plan an Eren Requiem, and her saving him or refusing to kill him screws up that plot (temporarily or permanently), at least that would be more interesting than playing it completely straight. That could be done in a way that makes it clear it's her own emotional attachment rather than the Ackerbond at work, I think.

I'm not invested in her siding with him, however. If Isayama wants to write a clean break, that's fine too.

It factually makes no sense for Hange and co. to help Marley to stop Eren when this would sign their own death sentence. If Eren is stopped, e.g. the FT no longer in their possession, then all they could hope for is betting on the outside world having mercy on the Island Devils and Eldians in general. Like, it's ridiculous how not one character even dared to question Magath and Pieke's intentions and the aftermath that would emerge from eliminating their only hope for which they've sacrificed so many people to get to this point. The characters don't need to be taught about compassion. They were already good people who fought for the underdog. This war is not a kindergarten brawl, and the solution is not "You're all wrong because fighting is Bad, mmkay"- otherwise the characters' very existence is invalidated, because there's no way they could have lived this long without fighting.
