It's such a waste that the anime introduced Teshigawara but never followed through with adapting his full story arc from the manga. Shit got fucking intense.
The build up to that arc was pretty much perfect too.They even had Fuyutsuki portrayed as a butterfly as well which makes more sense in the manga than it did in the anime since in the formers case it actually makes sense

There was a lot of that. Like the girl with the shark teeth, in the manga she had an actual introduction which was more or less just a gag, in the anime she and her relatives just show up with no context leaving viewers wondering what the hell was up with those shark toothed people.
