Sorry, but Miura only cares about the loli-cock now.
Clearly there is no motivation left to finish it. Just waiting for him to say he is done.
just, what caused him to hate berserk so much?
Having to do it for 30 years.
Why are you fags still waiting for this?
I'm certain at this point Berserk will be left unfinished until Miura's death and get a rush closure after that.
how many actual years out of those 30 did he produce Berserk content?
13-15, lolicon bastard
Last year we reached the 1 chapter per month rate.
When did you grow out of Berserk?
I was a big Berserk fan before i got into Hunter x Hunter around a year ago. Then, hiatus of both series started killing me and i decided to re-read Berserk from the beginning. After than i realised that i actually don't enjoy Berserk after Lost Children.
I'm gonna write memoirs and call it "Dr. Hunterlove or: How I Learned to Stop Caring About Berserk and Love the Bomb"
Right looks way better
Left has a way better story
>UNGA GUTS BIG SWORD SMASH
vs
>cerebral commentary on the nature of human thought and decisionmaking
Maybe one day you will develop adult tastes.
it could be worse
>artstyle requires a ton of work and people have really high expectations for it too
>he already has so much money that he doesn't really need to work anymore
I can totally understand him just not wanting to draw any more of it at this point.
i lost track of the plot already
I don't even care anymore
Stop bullying Berserkfags, niggers. They know our pain.
Yeah dude, ants so deep. Talk for 30 minutes with redundant dialogue about what move the opponent is gonna use
He's probably not going to draw it himself anymore. Didn't he say that the entire point of Duranki was to get his assistants up to the Berserk standard, so that he could finally get to the point where he can scribble a storyboard and let them do the rest? Once that arrangement pans out, I think we'll see Berserk return to a fairly consistent release schedule.
Is there a Berserk chart?
at least berserk has drawings on its pages, nigger
Give up, it won't help, you should've give up on the boat.
Now with Casca healed just how much is there left to cover? Berserker armour, God Hand and Skull Knight origin, Griffth's defeat.
I picked it up recently and just caught up. This fucking chapter still fills me up with tears. I never asked for this feel
Berserk hits a lot harder emotionally, fellow Hunterchad. It isn't meant to make you think, just feel. There's no fucking debate about the morality of apostles or killing them. It's all about the struggle of a man refusing to lay down and die despite the whole world wanting him to.
I was hoping for a mini arc for each of the elite Apostles like Lucien and Grunbeld.
Why don't you just watch another shonenshit instead?
Because we're not you, user.
I wonder if there is a specific reason for why Guts seems to attract so many faeires. It's probably because of the brand possibly but he seems to be a magnet for them.
I am not the one waiting years for a chapter of a darker Fairy tail.
>another hunter tard TRYING to compare the absolute graphic masterpiece that is berserk next to his toilet paper manga.
>comparing hunterxhunter to berserk
>comparing literally any shoujo to berserk
Full retarded, i don't even like shojos and think berserk is great, miura drawings still make everyone else look like an amateur and her new naked shota manga is good for fapping.
he is a good person deep inside, not to talk about the fact that he was born from a literal corpse
>he was born from a literal corpse
Was Miura 13 when he started berserk?
Idk, and can't think stright atm and going through that chapter again has me literally crying. Fucking Miura, all i wanted was some masculinity boost, not to feeel sad
No, you're the one eating shonenshit.
It's been a while since I've actually read that chapter but was Guts just imagining that faerie from deliriousness or was she real? None of the guards saw her if I recall and there's no evidence to say she existed to proof her existence to anyone but Guts
>le ebin berserk is edgy meme lmao xd
lmao I will never forget that fucking chapter and the griffith tax policy one
Chichi healing his wounds impy she was real but Guts thought it was a reflection of his weak self and treated it as such. I could go trhough it again but I just stopped crying and can't bring myself to do that again
Fuck it.
Her reality isn't any more technically ambiguous than anything else supernatural Guts has seen before Griffith's rebirth. Obviously the guards didn't see anything, since them squares working for the man aren't able to see fairies.
I'm honestly amazed that they ever got off the boat. Boatserk had been around for as long as I could remember. Looking back through the chapters, they get on the boat at the very end of chapter 278, which was in 2006, though at least the entire Emperor vs Griffith plot happens right after 278 before it fully switches to the gang sailing.
They're playful and innocent. They're probably attracted to people they also perceive as innocent as a result. Guts, though literally boiling over with uncontrollable rage towards the apostles and Griffith, is still pretty much a boy at heart. He tries protecting his friends, he doesn't want others to get hurt around him, he hates bad guys and does what he can to impede them, he is still holding onto his girlfriend years after she was made into a potato, and he's loyal to a fault. He has bad thoughts running through his mind in the form of an uncontrollable nightmare wolf and he tries to push them away, he is impulsive and is always shouting, etc. He's honestly only starting to mature on Skellig, and it's thanks to his adventures with his new friends teaching him that he can communicate with others.
What's worse, nothing for a year, or the slow build of maybe something within possibly a year
GuP: Das Finale style of having a 2 year release schedule by default with no chance of anything being realeased earlier.
this is perfect
>muh seinen
>muh adult taste
kek, excellent bait
pretty much.
iirc Schierke said that elves, faries and other creatures from tha astral plane are visible to those with pure heart, or something along those lines. Adults with a concrete worldview are blind to seeing such creatures, hence there were many people who couldn't see puck or others. That's why they were visible to kids mostly. That was the case beofre the skull knight event which opened the doors for all these creatures to enter the "real world". I hope this makes some sense
if you have a rigid worldview you wont be able to see the supernatural. perhaps the guards followed the holy see
Not to suck Miura's dick but the fantasia arc has some pretty trippy art. I can't blame him for taking so long to finish a chapter. He may need a fuckton of psychedelics to come up with some of this art
Yea sorry meant to reply to you too
see
>almost already 2 years ago
What the fuck man, this shit is never going to end
this was actually a reference to another piece of art that being said i hope hes just drawing chapters in batches to release monthly when theyre all completed
That is just a piece he stole from Bosch.
Yup that's an homage to Jerome Bosch's work
Not surprised but I'ma pretty oblivious fag when it comes to art but still i stand by my argument. I believe it takes a lot of time to draw in such detail in a short amount of time. He's also getting older which, I assume may have made him a bit slower. Thanks for the clarification though
yeah i believe theres an interview about his editors telling him he's too obsessed about the details in his art
I left some years ago during the boat hiatus (just after they fought the pirates), and been avoiding spoilers, etc since then. Just give it to me straight in regards to everythibg that goes after the pirates, is it worth reading or should I just stick to my fond memories?
Is it autism?
I like it
It got back on track after they reached the elf island.
Hieronymus Bosch, user, I've never seen anybody call him "Jerome".
I'm the artcel he replied to but essentially it's the same
It's obvious he was "inspired" by the hell panel of his painting ut I still find it impressive that he goes in such detail for his artwork
Miura is busy doing his futanari manga.
>the day of the final chapter finally comes
>Guts and Griffith, surrounded by bodies of men and apostles alike face each other for a final showdown
>Guts, fully composed, he finally discarded his inner beast
>Griffith lunges with a wide swing of his saber
>Guts swings Dragonslayer directly, right through the saber without any intention of deflecting the blow, just breaking the sword in half as he swings Dragonslayer down on Griffith's shoulder
>stops it right before the blow as Griffith slumps on his knees
>"Ja na" as he walks away without looking back
Calling this pottery right now
Who fucking cares at this point, both this and HxH can go to hell
This.
elaborate
See manga name is Duranki.
better read guin saga and robert e. howard conan books son.
God damn it, it's so hard being a recovering degenerate these days
Berserk always has silly scenes
gross
I feel like there are only 3 ways for Berserk to end at this point. Berserk could get a rushed ending that tries to finish the story in a super quick way, like Guts suddenly teleporting near Griffith and then both of them kill each other. There could be a cliffhanger ending that is basically just a random page that says "and the adventure continues!" at the bottom and doesn't resolve the plot at all. Final option would be straight up cancelation at a random point in the middle of it all, either because of Miura deciding to finally quit or dying. I really doubt Berserk will get a well paced and thought out ending with how little it even gets updated.
How can an old ass man like miura be drawing this kind of shit?
What if Guts just gets killed in a battle with some random no name character, and the whole series is left with no real resolution.
I imagine a few readers would top themselves after that let down.
Basically shit for the last ten years.
Thanks maria.
If I remember correctly his assistant is the one drawing it. Which means he literally has someone drawing the stuff he wants to.

Not long enough.
Living the dream.
>I figured out your strategy!
>How?
>I memorized your behaviors and predilections to accurately predict for your next move!
>What are my behaviors and predilections?
>I just figured them out stfu
And that's the difference between an author who respects an audience's intelligence and one who supplements a lack of interesting ideas with constant exposition.
Miura should just let someone competent make a VN
I'll never read this shit until its finished, despite all the great things I hear about it. So never.
I'm seriously surprised at this point that someone who can draw hasn't just ended up continuing where Miura left off and finish it themselves.
Berserk is in the homestretch while HxH is doing fuck all to come full circle.
Berserk and HxH is in the same shithole and you'll soon be able to pinpoint the last time you genuinely enjoyed HxH as well and how many years it's been since then. You're better off dismissing them both as neverending shit.
>Miura
>art
Miura is a great illustrator (not that is any hard for any mangaka to be one if they actually wanted to put the effort on it), but as an artist, he is just average, specially after the golden arc where he is creatively bankrupt and has been on decline with everything looking more and more off and stiff since then.
His paneling always flows a little bad, and after 30 years dedicating 80% of the manga to shitty fights, the hack can't still draw an action scene that flows nicely even if you aim a gun at him.
>but as an artist, he is just average
heres your (you) baiting fuck
For fuck's sake Miura, update already. I REALLY want to see how Skull Knight explains his little oopsie to the gang.
Yes, this is the case. He might still work on important scenes or splash pages but yeah, he's finally learning that he needs to actually use his assistants.
HxH is so far behind. It's not even CLOSE to being in the homestretch. Anyone believing that Togashi will finish it just needs to stop hoping. We aren't even in the middle of this current arc.
At least with Berserk, Miura might just say "fuck it" and let the anime finish it, with how close everything is to being over in comparison.
I fully expect that as soon as Duranki is done and Berserk exits hiatus that we'll be in the beginning of the final act. Everything is set up. Guts restored Casca and is leaving with Skull Knight, Griffith has his kingdom and unlocked fast travel, I think we're going to head right into it at a consistent pace.
>Casca finally recovers
>Nothing happens
Miura looked at Togashi and said he could do better at Nothinghappeness
Is the island a new boat? youtu.be
Its been nearly 5 since they got off the boat
>Its been nearly 5 since they got off the boat
Woah... that was fast.
*Raughs in hiatus*
At least Berserk didn't have a farming arc
It's painfully obvious Miura doesn't know how to continue the story.
He doesn't know what to do with Casca and he doesn't know how Guts could possibly kill Griffith.
Years worth of hiatus didn't help, it only got worse as the story gets closer to the point where these two issues have to be adressed.
I've honestly lost almost all hope of seeing this manga get a satisfying ending.
He's depressed because im@s is nothing but mobage trash now.
>It's been almost 10 years
HAGIWARAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Hunter x Hunter pretty much already has come full circle. The goal from chapter 1 was to find Ging, Ging was found and Gon's story as it related to the original narrative is over. What we have now is Togashi playing in the world that he created and it could go on forever if he really felt like it.
Unironically believing that closure for Gon was a natural ending for HxH is the ultimate cope for brainlet Togashit Zombies that sucked into following this series and being that it would be completed one day.
something something born on the precipice of life and death. Something something pointy ears.
Having a satisfying ending to a story spinning for 3 decades is basically impossible. This amount of time just elevates expectations to something that is unreachable, Miura would have to do some kind of berserker revival for the last arcs or something and literally just top itself multiple times for people to consider it satisfying.
Hush, struggler. It is time for dreams now.
Not a cope, just a fact. The driving force of the story was Gon's desire to find Ging. Ging was found. I'm sorry that you got traumatized by huntershitposting.
Lamer
Tremendous.
What manga is this?
>fairy island is the new boat
AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa
everyone knew this was likely to happen
Didn't he apologize on twitter when he released that chapter?
what if he actually does it though?
how ironic
How fucking empty are your lives to be affected this way over a comic you like not releasing?
And yes mr. edgy lashing out negatively is also being affected. Grow up if the thing comes out it comes out and you can enjoy it otherwise you are just wasting your time "actively waiting" on it.
Always, whenever the question formulates itself it already carries the answer.
We’ll get one once Duranki ends and then it’ll be regular or at way more often than now publishing that’s what Miura has planned he recognizes that he’s taking a while and is training assistants
You guys don't get it. Miura is just piling up work for his big comeback. Next time Berserk returns it'll be uninterrupted until the end.
He's on a hidden treehouse with Takehiko Inoue so they can synchronize and release together! You'll see, you will all see!
Why did he rip off yugioh?
He's had assistants since before Ganishka fucking died. That was first when "Studio GAGA" started popping on the credit pages and also he already had Gighantomakia for that explicit purpose i remember it vividly.
Miura doesn't want anyone to help him he's just stalling like usual. Don't believe his lies.
The odds are higher we get another chapter of Gigantomakhia featuring Prome just pissing in Delos' mouth for 60 pages than Miura ever finishing Berserk. You all know I'm right too.
>another chapter of Gigantomakhia featuring Prome just pissing in Delos' mouth for 60 pages
From your lips to god's ears user.
Fast travel gets unlocked near the end of RPGs and skull knight can give Guts that ability. There's also the leylines. Guts and gang can be in Falconia instantly to get things blowing up fast.
Option 4: Guts gets over his desire for revenge, averting a fate similar to Skull Knight, and lives happily ever after with Casca. Griffith gets soul-eaten by the moonlight child.
when was the last time guts saw griffith?
He's never left it hanging long enough for a real writefag or artfag to seriously consider an attempt. If we get a multiyear hiatus someday, that's probably when someone would step up, if ever.
Guts should get raped again
>30th anniversary comes and goes with literally no content and no announcement

That wasn't Griffith. That was Femto.

It's not fair that they have an excellent series followed up by 3 decent movies and two horrendous seasons of CGI shit
>say that's there's definitely some complex rhythm going on
>use a fictional game that you nevertheless explain as an analogy
>don't even explain the strategy irl
Absolute hack writing trying to fake complexity. Togashi is a joke.
The western studio that did Castlevania wants to do Berserk. At this point I think it would be better than another shit japanese studio.
Was there anything more enjoyable than that series of chapters where a punch-drunk Guts is trying to simulatenously fight off demons and protect Casca, all while she hates him and is trying to run away?
It might be one of the most depressingly beautiful parts to the whole series.
I'd jump at the chance, at least we'd get a decent chance at a nice 2.5D look and they wouldn't shy away from the more gruesome parts.
>I must shitpost
Just kill yourself retard.
>pic
fixed it
If Hisoka had an army of horny bitches, retards, shotas and lolis following him his entire coterie would be pregnant. Griffith would have gotten raped in 10 different ways at their first meeting. That alone tells you which one is the better series.
People spent money and time being invested dumbass its part of why miura got where he is
He's so dreamy...
There's a reason why the main character of one of the most well reknown manga ever fell in love with him.
I wish Miura would at very least set us free like Inoue did.
I'm never gonna finish this sorry and bye
Did Inoue say that?
Incorrect, Corkus and the lower half of Casca were integral to the overall narrative
Not really, but is very unlikely that he will ever come back to vagabond,he even drew what it seems to be the entire ending of the manga for his exhibition
>After than i realised that i actually don't enjoy Berserk after Lost Children.
huh. idgaf about hunter and never will, but you make me wonder how long its been since I liked berserk. I kind of liked the part where they were defending the church against trolls and seahorses, but even then it was floundering. jesus i just googled it and that was 18 years ago.
holy shit, shounenshitters are coping hard ITT. HxH is once again proven to have the more mature audience, while little kiddies read Berserk...
'Recent' arc with Saving Casca's Brain was pretty enjoyable (at least for me)
Since Inoue started working on REAL again I still have some false hope that he will draw Musashi vs Kojiro in its entirety. Vagabond is probably my favorite manga of all time, simply because how amazing it was to read the first time.
>shounenshitters
user, you are very silly; HxH is shounen, Berserk is seinen at best
the manga medium is more of a graphic one if the author need a whole page of text to explain a simple idea he could explain through a drawing like on the right of you're pic he's a bad mangaka but maybe he's a good novelist
it smells of fake complexity and give an arrogant audience a way to feel superior while not having to think too much
What?
Why do HxH shitposters have this weird obsession with Berserk lately? It's pretty bizarre considering that the only thing they have in common is long hiatuses.
some days i feel like reading berserk again
then i remember all the edgy shit and the op loli bitch and i dont want to read it anymore
iirc, he said that he had lost interest in the story and wanted to pursue different themes and areas, and also said that it's unlikely he will come back to it any time soon if at all. Take it with a big grain of salt though, it's been years since I have read it and I don't remember where either.
Did you rike Sumerian shota penisu? Watashi rike muchos gracias
Huntertrolls just want attention, they're not even real fans of HxH
It's great because it really makes you feel Guts' desperation and the bleakness of the situation. It's also probably the section that most clearly defines his inner conflict between seeking revenge and protecting Casca.
On that subject, I wonder if Casca remembers him almost raping her and whether that'll come up again.
I'm coming to your home to fight you IRL faget.
>he thinks a regular old writefag and artfag from Yea Forums can measure up to Miura
Kek
I don't really get why people post that panel as a proof of Berserk's great art. That's like pretty mediocre-tier in terms of Berserk art.

>I was in that dump thread where everyone lost their shit.
>If Miura dies, Berserk's last chapter is about Griffith.
MIUUUUURAAAAAAAA
Those are some really good models
I would be totally fine with Guts just fucking off to a remote island with Casca and Farnese. Leaving Griffith to do another eclipse 2.0 rape is for everyone edition in Falconia and the story ends
Show your art you fag.
This. I have been saying it for years that there is some art for Vagabond that seemingly shows the kid grown up and talking to an old Musashi, no one bothered to scan it.
At this point hxh might as well just cut out the middleman and become a novel, the artwork was shit to begin with anyway
What The Fuck
He didn't have the brand yet there. Also, If i remember correctly, most people can't see astral beings because of the Holy See's influence, which is stronger on cowardly or close-minded people.

That was awfully honest and truthful mr peter-steele-poster. Can you blame us though. Every manga i love is dead
It's been nine years
why can't someone else pick this up. the audience is there.
Lost Children was the peak. All I need is a few OVA episodes or a movie of the arc, with hand-drawn animation on a infinity budget and I could forget the series for good.

I still like Berserk
Somehow make him go bankrupt so that he has to sell manga volumes again.
I think my break from Berserk has taken 3 year already.
I would a Jill.
Oh my god I think you actually believe that
>Can you blame us though. Every manga i love is dead.
I can.
Have you ever laughed at someone for being actually upset over something you thought silly? Maybe at people going crazy over things that became cultural punching bags like the end of Game of Thrones, the great shipping butthurt of Naruto and Bleach several years ago or Justin Bieber at the end of the 2000s?
Well, being obsessive or upset over [insert X manga here] for [insert Y reason here] is silly, user.
Having such an unhealthy attachment to something that is meant as entertainment is going against its essence. You're mourning something that was never alive and was suppossed to bring you enjoyment.
Look at Peter. He's actually dead. His family, friends and followers mourned him the time they needed, but that was almost 10 years ago, there's nothing to get for feelling bad about it today. The people that knew and loved him have his memories to cherish, and the rest of us can still cherish the music he made.
If people are able to say their final goodbyes to a loved one who will never return (something almost all of us will have to do at some point) and appreciate the good times they had with them, then all of you can value a piece of media for what it is and say your goodbyes when the time for it to be over (be it with or without an ending) comes.
And if you ever miss it, you can always revisit it.
>Have you ever laughed at someone for being actually upset over something you thought silly?
Yes but I'm also guilty as I've been there before. Looking back I can only get dissappointed about the time wasted on such cily things
>Having such an unhealthy attachment to something that is meant as entertainment is going against its essence.
Totally agree
>You're mourning something that was never alive and was suppossed to bring you enjoyment.
I'm not sure I understand what you want to say
>If people are able to say their final goodbyes to a loved one who will never return (something almost all of us will have to do at some point) and appreciate the good times they had with them, then all of you can value a piece of media for what it is and say your goodbyes when the time for it to be over (be it with or without an ending) comes.
Partly agree. An abrupt ending, or death in Steele's case, leaves people with a lack of closure. Many people, myself included have trouble dealing with such an abrupt ending. I don't get upset over hiatuses or the bleach rushed ending and I'm pretty apathetic to most things but I'm a cunt if I'm honest with you. What comes to mind is a friend of my brother who died in a car crash 4 years ago and he left behind a devastated mother and brother. What I want to say is that people getting upset over an abrupt end is not the same to put them all in the same category. Me personally, I'm not upset, just dissappointed. I'm not sure I make any sense but I didn't expect you to put the effort on replying to a play on words on a Type-O-negative song.
>If people are able to say their final goodbyes to a loved one who will never return and appreciate the good times they had with them, then all of you can value a piece of media for what it is and say your goodbyes when the time for it to be over (be it with or without an ending) comes.
It would be a hell of a lot easier if Miura gave us a clean break. Rather than a sudden "death" by heart attack, Berserk has been more or comatose for 15 years. Unfortunately, it occasionally shows signs of brain activity every year or so that give false hope that it could someday recover, albeit as a shadow of its former self. It's hard to let go and remember the good times together when there's a decaying almost-corpse on the bed in front of you, and the doctor in charge keeps putting off pulling the plug.
>It's hard to let go [...]
It's not. You know all that time you spend not reading or thinking about it while waiting for new chapters? Just continue to do that when something new comes out instead of getting your hopes up for the 9001st time.
>I'm not sure I make any sense
Don't worry user, you do.
>but I didn't expect you to put the effort on replying to a play on words on a Type-O-negative song.
I couldn't resist trying to give a thoughtful response to a post that actually knows Steele's name without it being in the filename. As I get older I notice how things that I used to talk about become obscure to more and more people both Irl and here, so your post just tickled me in the right spot.
There's literally nothing we can do. It's why lots of people have stopped caring.
At least Me and the Devil Blues was brought back from the dead.
> As I get older I notice how things that I used to talk about become obscure to more and more people both Irl and here, so your post just tickled me in the right spot.
Likewise
>Just continue to do that when something new comes out
Eh. I've managed to ignore Berserk for several years at a time, but unless I avoid all anime/manga discussion, sooner or later I hear about it when a new chapter comes out. And like any erstwhile friend, sometimes you want to catch up with it, even if you end up regretting it afterwards. If you're capable of completely ghosting stories you've followed for over 20 years, well, that's genuinely good for you. For me, Berserk still hasn't reached the point where my disgust with Miura's mishandling of it outweighs my past fondness for it.
I have honestly tried over the course of several years to write up an "Ending" to Berserk in a novelization fanfic form, but every time we get an update, I keep gaining hope that he'll continue, I drop the project I'm working on because he says he will return to monthly, and then we wind up back here, where I'll start again and repeat the process.
There's also the fact that Miura keeps adding strikingly new elements to the setting so frequently. I started this project back when we were on the fucking boat. I had no idea that Elf Island was even going to be real, much less successful at fixing Casca. Falconia didn't seem like it was going to be as relevant as it would be, and I would have never guessed we'd be getting split stories between Guts and Griffith running parallel. And I'm absolutely not the only one who has had this problem. God help any poor comic artist who has had to draw page by page by page this exact same thing, but wound up getting dabbed on by Miura in the process.
I can remember what it was it was either a interview with the author or a review but they say berserk is all emotion when it comes to fighting don't think about it in a technical sense like in a boxing manga or fighting manga
The thing is the split story attention would be just fine if it wasn't over a period of fucking 15 years. In terms of the storyline it hasn't been that long at all.
I get sad when I think about the bros who have died and who will die before berserk is finished.
Berserk has a huge amount of impact to its fight scenes and they're extremely kinetic. I genuinely don't get why people think this is worse than having several paragraphs describing each strike as it happens.
At this point, the sensible option would be to pick the point at which you thought Berserk started to go to shit and rewrite the ending from there, rather than trying to accommodate the drip-feed of new story elements Miura occasionally turns out.
I really feel for those guys who died between extensively long hiatuses. It's the ones who will never know if Casca got fixed or not that break me. A weeb I knew at an anime convention back in like 2012 was theorizing that Casca would snap out of it when Guts eventually died, and that the story would shift to Casca's quest of redemption. We didn't talk much since, but he killed himself years back, and I know that this guy would have been taken aback (and probably mad about) Casca's return.
Bastard
>griffith tax policy one
That was a great one, Griffith's making Starship Troopers level fascist state complete with servive guarantees citizneship and everyone in-universe is applauding him.
Foss sees through his shit though
>fascist state complete with service guarantees citizenship
That's more in keeping with ancient Rome's Auxilia than fascism.
that chapter was 2 years ago? are you fucking kidding me.
give the guy a break
he became a mangaka at 10 years old and hasn't stopped(hiatus don't count) ever since
a break is tolerable but this shit is ridiculous
why are you comparing guts who is sort of a meathead fighting meatheads to two of the absolute strongest characters who go way past inhuman in their fighting? if that fight in hxh was in the berserk style it wouldn't have the same impact and if berserk fights were in the hxh style it would be boring as fuck because it's a meathead clobbering meatheads.
the state of huntards. shitty comparison
He lost his virility due to age. If you played Blizzard games you could see this happen over the past decade when a CEO's daughter influences the games design from 25 years ago.
imagine guts actually thinking through tactics in his head when he knows he can obliterate most things with simple flicks of a hand
>have roughly 10.1k days to tell a story
>can't pull it off, newest chapter is filler bullshit nobody cares about
How can one person be so massively incompetent?
>Discount Cell clutters a page to tell us he's a clever clogs
what if miura is actually dead and its just his interns putting out what they can
>just one word:
>idolmaster
Miura and Togashi are friends, right?
They hated him because he spoke the truth
What if you're actually dead and the reason all the new chapters shitty is because you're trapped in limbo? Your brain is trying to help you reach closure so you can be free, but your storytelling ability just isn't up to the task.
your shitty joke would be funny if everybody disagreed the latest chapters were shit
>if everybody disagreed
>disagreed
Does anyone actually like the most recent chapters?
I dont like filler so no
Has there ever been a case where a different mangaka continues a series?
The world tree travel was probably introduced simply for the fast travel. I hope there's also a time skip since they're on the island and Griffith has a complete empire by the time they leave
I thought the island itself was the timeskip. By the time they get off lots of time will have passed in the overworld
>you will never live to see Musashi vs Kojiro
lmfao, after rereading it the boat shit wasn't bad but at the time it was beyond frustrating
I will
Yes, but there aren't many examples, and no works of Berserk's style and scope. Shin-chan was spun off into a sequel by assistants, but it's a gag manga so it hardly counts. Cyborg 009 (long-running Jump series from the '60s) got a continuation based on his notes from a team, but apparently it wasn't well-received. I'm sure there are other examples, but it seems to be pretty rare.
become a loli satisfy his needs and make him pay with new chapters of berserk
At this point I'm 110% sure that Miura is going to die a horrible death before we even begin to scratch the surface of an ending.
>It's a 6 hour long ova, split between three parts: Black Swordsman Arc, Lost Children, and around the start of Conviction
>the old VA's from the 97 are hired for the job
>fucking Tell Me Why chosen as the OP and a more subdued, extended Waiting so Long as the ED
>the OVA starts just when 97's 25th episode ends, with Guts being stained in blood back from the Koka Castle's Lord fight
>after a long, tear-draining journey, with the same team of the 97 anime making Bebop-tier animation with highly detailed backgrounds and with Susumu Hirasawa handling the OST in a ethereal-ish style, the series ends on a high note like the 97's first episode, with Guts' new goal in the last scenes.
>the OVA ends with an extreme fast-foward to a BA Guts, looking to a sane Casca
I only can dream.
Are we going to ignore these fucking digits?
I can see the shitty AniTubers videos now with the title "Berserk: The Masterpiece Never Finished"
only zoomers, redditors, and newfaggots care about digits
give me this I@
flowerfairy has a special place in my heart
Say that to my face irl fag
My sides holy shit
Fuck, I want to see more guts and casca...
How can I trust what you are saying when you have those numbers?
Next year
>next year
What's the Japanese equivalent of throwing a brick through someone's window? I want him to both immediately understand my intended meaning without having to translate across cultures plus I don't want to telegraph I'm a gaijin.
Asking for a friend.
>What's the Japanese equivalent of throwing a brick through someone's window?
Rape.
So I finally caught up after dropping it around the time they beat the sea god and I did not miss much since then apparently.
The pace of content is torture.
I think having a brick breaking through your window is a very universal symbol and he would totally understand you
I started reading this when I was 23, I'm now 37.
After decades of dark depressing things, you really find it odd that he's gone the opposite direction?
What are you talking about, he just introduced an island of strong magic users with great powers as allies or teachers, the fact that the world tree can be tapped into, reality itself coming undone as it had been known, he still has his suit that he has not fully succumbed to.
Hell, he doesn't even have to defeat Griffith but find a way to stand in the way of his dream like he has done before, that alone would be a victory for Guts.
i started reading this when i was 7, im now 21
A close contender
It makes total sense when you consider how YYH ended.
I think he's questioning the subject matter, i.e. a group of small children ogling another child's feminine penis, than the overall tone.
What is this even about
Im 23 now remember reading the eclipse at 9/11
Who is more likely to return this decade, demo or Casca’s sanity?
When is the next chapter?
Stop crying and read the shota manga, that's what he's doing now.
a gay guy and another gay guy get mad at each other
Berserk will end on a mutual reconciliation. They will fight each other in the end without hatred, having settled their differences. It will be a full maturation of both characters having fufilled their own dreams. That is why griffith stares longingly as guts leaves in a row boat.
It's not the fan fiction ending people want. But it is what makes the most sense finally.
Blood and Guts and Guts and blood
But also naked lolis
Delete this
You get to look at agony personified instead then
Why does this always make me laugh
Repost this
Caska looks so hot when she's scared
>t. Griffith
>its been 2 years since casca was healed
>its been 5 years since they got off the boat
>isma has been in the series for 10 years
>worse than hxh
Oh, look, the hxhfags are trying a new tactic.
>its been 17 years since Guts got the berserker armor
I like HxH. I can't understand anyone defining their identity through it though. I've suffered so many losses along the years.
>Phoenix will never be finished because Tezuka died
>Bastard will never be continued because Hagiwara is a lazy bum
>D. Gray-Man will never finish because Hoshino got arthritis or something
>Vagabond will never finish because Inoue isn't feeling it (atleast REAL is still ongoing)
>HxH will never finish because there's always a new RPG for Togashi to pla- I MEAN AGGHHH MY BACK
>Berserk will never finish because deep down Miura just wants to do other things
It's just another brick in the wall
It's all falseflagging, fans from lesser stratums of shounen need to attack the higher ones to bring it down from the pyramid.
Honestly I was hoping Casca would die and things would go grimdark again, at least there would be some story progression
Like you're trying to do right now? Fuck off
was Qlipoth the last time berserk got super rapey and gorey?
I know griffiths crusading around the country had some splatters but nothing super explicit like the troll rapecave with infants bursting out of the womb killing their host mother and then the troll intestines Slan to top it off
O my 7 quirks
O my rubber nen
O my rubber boat
O my tax policy
O my world tree
O my hiatus
At this point I can feel anything
Huh, neat. I might call him Jerome if I'm around some artfags to flex in the most homosexual way possible.
Rubber boat?
Both, in a glorious fashion ;^(
That Guts fellow is doing fine, he's just too busy courting Griffith's futa reincarnation.
holy fuck someone else besides me who knows about this series
will Guts have sex with Casca ever again?
I can deal with the first two, but that last one. Fuck. Where has time gone?
What commentary? What is that page actually saying ABOUT human decision making? It just describes it, without really making a point. It's really just a regular shounen fight with more words on top.
Hunter x Hunter is really damn good. But it isn't some intellectual high brow stuff. Just a good shounen.
Imagine being this stupid
basiert und rothpilled
only a cocksucking faggot would say that
>using manga, a visual medium, to illustrate a character's thoughts and emotions vs making every character's thoughts explicit with visuals hardly supplementing the text
the fact is, if you took away the go board or the tree panel, nothing would change. If you took away the last panel nothing would change. If you took away all the panels the reader would have to do some of the imagining himself
>more lines on the grass than hxh has in the last 50 chapters
Also treating his audience like retards is aparently a great thing
If that's the case, you should try Geronimo
I always ask this in Berserk threads but did he ever say something about having the main storyline written and hidden somewhere?
He could drop dead any moment now and the story dies with him, at least leave it so someone else can finish it for you.
Not that I've ever heard.
Bros I literally just edged for 11 hours watching porn and playing sexmods Skyrim and blew a load so powerful I'm almost immobile right now. Recc me issues of Berserk for this feel.
What's it say? What are these numbers?
Crashing idol genre with no survivors.
Reminder that Rosine is best girl.
I know most people prefer Void but this smug fucker is my favorite of the Godhand.
Genuinely asking, why do you post Peter Steele?
I started reading this when I was 20, I'm now 20.
Does this shit ever get good? I've read the first 5 or so chapters and it's goddamn trash.
>taking one of the most praised fights in one series and comparing it to literally out of context action spreads
I like HxH too, but you're just being a faggot at this point
imagine if griffith had aged and became an old man by the time guts returned
I stopped caring because Miura clearly no longer cares. If Miura still cared, he wouldn't take 8 months to release a new 20-30 page chapter.
>berserk - action
>hxh - words words words words words
hmmmmmm
>Boat ride finally over
>The Slappening
>Casca finally getting cured
These past few years have been both miserable and wonderful.
Thanks for replying to the shitposter retard
>a literal god
>aging
>Casca finally getting cured
>and then getting triggered again in a heartbeat
I kek'd so hard.
well done
His body is still flesh and blood, isn't it?
Just like Zodd, his underling who is centuries old.
I dunno I thought this form he's taken was just an actual flesh and blood human materialization of Femto. Like Jesus Christ being the basic bitch human incarnation of God. Can do magic Godhand shit but still is a flesh and blood man.
Zodd is in his original apostle body. Griffith isn't in the Femto form, he had his body shaped during that funky ritual.
Well, I'm sure if someone decapitates him, he would have some trouble.
But his Femto magic would still be able to easily keep him young. Unless he decides not to stay young out of sympathy to his other human followers (as if).
Zodd is an apostle of flesh and blood and can keep his age in check. Even if Griffith shaped his body back to what it was before the eclipse, it would be pretty easy for him to not age.
Would old man Griffith still be a fuckable twink or a true old man?
Why wouldn't I?
But in all seriousness
>sort of like his music.
> triggered me
>He was into lifting weights
>Like Guts, He's a tall and muscular
And of course
I'm a huge faggot. N-no homo
> Unless he decides not to stay young out of sympathy to his other human followers (as if).
Well the hole point of him taking on human form again was to essentially trick the people of the world into thinking he was not a supernatural being but instead just a really, really, really great leader of men and a true King. It would make sense to go along with the facade with aging.
Fuck me, I meant pushed me into it. Gonna sudoku myself
Even if Griffith's own form doesn't age, Moon Boy seems to be aging at a normal rate. What happens if Griffith's body roommate gets old? Seems like a potential vulnerability.
Thanks!
It's okay!
