I said that of the story kept crawling at the pace it did for 75% of this volume content, it would need like two dozen chapters to wrap up.

Three volumes is reasonable right now.
We're probably looking at 4 more cooldown chapters, resolving the Yaegerist crap, Le Alliance getting their hands on the plane to travel to Marley, what's happening in Marley after that cliffhanger, etc. Then, we're looking at at least a volume worth of the final battle, with a chapter devoted to Eren's pov somewhere along the line. Then resolution and ending.
Three is very reasonable, but anything less will inevitably end up being unfullfilling and rushed.

If she acquires the same level of understanding that Eren has, but still chooses to risk everyone's lives on an impossibly unlikely peaceful resolution then I'll at least be able to respect her decision and see that she stands for something she believes in.

As things stand however, she's not in a very good place as a character.
