Post anime/manga that Yea Forums recommended that you hated.
ITT Bad recommendations
Other urls found in this thread:
The only thing Yea Forums has ever recommended anyone was boku no pico, and it was a thrilling masterpiece they were grateful to experience.
Boku No Pico was unironically too deep for me.
Bokurano, Psyren, Monster, Medeka Box, Biscuit Hammer, FMA, Goblin Slayer, Made in Abyss.
Texhnolyze
Rose of Versailles
Akage no Anne
Girls Last Tour
Macross Frontier
VOTOMS
Touch
Made in Abyss
How could you not like Texh?
Everyone agrees hxh is complete trash user, it's just shitposting when someone pretends to enjoy it.
What didn't you like about Votoms? I could see maybe just being put off because it is kind of different from how people generally portray it. But it's still pretty cool.
>Biscuit hammer
You sick bastard, what is wrong with you?
Some people just have bad taste.
>he hated all of those
sorry for your trash taste
pic not related
lain is great
I thought it was significantly weaker compared to Spirit Circle and Sengoku Youko. I don't like the main character either.
t. brainlet
I mentally repress negative anime experiences, so I'm afraid I can't offer up any answers.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Chico was shit.
if you like bad things it's amazing
NGNL is the only one I can think of
I hated Spice and Wolf. What are some other anime that I would hate?
nice attempt at getting recommendations.
Literally any gundam.
I was told I'd like GuP if I loved Sora no Woto, they lied. Could barely make it through the first episode.
Generally recs are good. I enjoyed kill la kill, made in abyss and even mahou site. There's two recs I hated: NGE and lain. Fuck these garbage.
Unironically Fire Punch
rude
>I enjoyed kill la kill
I expected to hate it but it has been pretty fun so far. The stupid recs always work out for the best.
Why is everyone so FUCKING sad in this
Agreed, stupid sexy Holo
Every single Lain thread warns you that Lain sucks, but you listened to a recommendation thread instead. Cringe retard.
i love hxh unironically
Everyone always hypes up the garbage in threads about how good it is.
But they aren't and that's the problem
A lot of people were bored by it, it's a slow paced show that isn't for everyone
Loved the first two arcs, got bored during the third and was very uninterested in the last one.
If you were stuck in limbo for eternity you would be sad as well
The fans tell you what you need to know about the show. It's extremely ambiguous and it probably has a message, but it's indecipherable because the people making it were writing whatever felt cool to them, instead of anything deep.
FLCL
>dude it's just like my high school experience lmao
haruhi
Death Note
OPM S1 (well, maybe not hated; it was just boring)
Itt: shit taste.
Go kill yourselves.
That Healing Hero manga was a complete shitshow and not in the entertaining kind of way.
"Wrong way to use healing magic"?
Hey. Thank you. I never "got" Lain either.
>Look, it's "surreal" and "symbolic", so it's your fault if you find it a meandering, plotless mess.
Biggest case of emperor's clothes in the history of Yea Forums
I think you're forgetting Bible Black and Ghost Slide.
>only just now watching Lain
Like 80% of the appeal was in the themes and art direction. If you didn't watch the show in the late 90s/early 00s as intended then you missed the boat. The show came at the cusp of computer modernization and during that time there was a general feeling that computers would be able to do anything. It really felt magical watching Lain back in 2001 on my compaq presario.
But they're right. The entire show is just a surreal and edgy comedic take on coming of age. If you weren't an early 00s teenager when you watched it then i'm sure it wasn't as impactful.
Nah, I rewatched FLCL recently and it was far better than I remembered.
Excellent post for an excellent animay called boku
Go back toddler brain
You are a brainlet incapable of picking the most basic visual storytelling, the entire plot of FLCL can be explained in 4 minutes:
youtube.com
What? People watch and love Lain all the same today. Its STILL one of the best shows for getting people into programming. I feel like most fans agree the show has only gotten more relevant and interesting as it becomes more accurate in its depictions
>Hated Lain
Retard
fpbp
What's Yui doing in there? Vacating in New York? Looking for her pet? Man, that was rough.
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
When I was an early 2000s teenager I thought FLCL was the most annoying anime in the world. I still do.
The better surreal, edgy coming of age story from the early 2000s was Alien 9.
