I know, but consider who are the main fans of this manga. Also, when Shinoa was possessed by Shikamadouji, Yuu was nowhere around. Instead, he was turned into a damsel in distress who had to be saved by Mika, then they decided to run away together. Oh, and there's also that new revelation about Mika also being some kind of ancestral vampire, and maybe even genderless (considering Yuu thought he was a girl).

I guess we'll see when this shit actually moves forward and eventually ends. Monthly chapters are a fucking hype killer and also won't do well in a plot heavy series when you inevitably forget half the details.
