Is it worth learning Japanese for all that isn't translated?

Read stuff and look up words in a dictionary if you don't know them.

You can't learn Japanese. Knowing it is worth it though because anime unironically isn't as good as the other mediums

Did you go for the JLPT route? How'd you go about it. Genuinely interested. I want to learn another language and this is about the closest thing I have to something foreign that I'm interested it.

The only good method is the simplist brute force method; just download a visual novel and start reading it. /int/'s /djt/ thread has all the info you need.

How do you deal with stroke order anyway? I feel like it's the one thing that you're always at risk of forgetting, especially since you'll rarely be writing by hand if you don't live in japan.

Well it doesn't really matter if you stroke up first or down first considering you'll be stroking both ways right afterwards.

Yeah I figured it'd go that way. At least with my way of reasoning it out, stroke order can help the character stick to my mind.
