T_T

Why did they go CGI on this ?

this louis scene is definitely 2D
i heard that studio orange likes to use 2D in some scenes of their works

The cgi adds to the creepyness of the manga but I doubt they did it on purpose

a 3D shot for comparison

They changed the silhouette of the murderer, which was similar to Legosi's in the manga. A detail that was included on purpose, so that the reader doubted the character throughout the first chapter.

I don't know, but it doesn't do Itagaki's drawing justice.

I think the BGs and most of the characters are awesome, and the former add a lot of atmosphere, but I agree about some of mains, especially Louis and Legosi. They look good but their eyes aren't as expressive as in the manga. I can deal with Legosi because he always has this autistic look but it doesn't fit to Louis.

I'm actually OK with the 3D here. It looks a lot better than I thought it would and I doubt the animators would be able to consistently stay on model working with characters that don't look like people.

>12FPS CG
Trying to ape Spiderverse after it earned billions ey?

ofc not
its pretty much impossible to emulate paru's style on CGI

Zootopia rip off

looks and sounds pretty good
the cg in this looks better than a lot of lackluster 2d productions this year.

all anime has more limited frames newfag

>Zootopia rip off
We're gonna hear this throughout the season. Especially coming from the usual normalfags.

>Spiderverse after it earned billions ey?
It did well, but billions ? Are you retarded ?

Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse:
Worldwide Box Office Gross: $375,540,831

And of those $375 million, Sony get ~50%, so they made ~$190 against a production cost of $90 million, which leaves a $100 million profit. However, that $90 million production budget does not include advertising/promotion, so the box office profit is actually quite a bit less.

That said, with all th>Spiderverse after it earned billions ey?

That said, with all the post-box-office money coming in from streaming deals, bluray/dvd sales etc, it's a profitableventure for sure.e post-box-office money coming in from streaming deals, bluray/dvd sales etc, it's a profitableventure for sure.

An older interview to the author, back when the seventh volume was released.

According to the description, this video is a condensed version of Episode 1.

Sure, but Zootopia was a rip-off as well.

it has to be worse than zootopia to be a rip off

ones vs twos, its up to the director. Some shows do both depending on whats going on
