I'm stuck in a argument wheter Takagi-san is or is not a loli. What does Yea Forums think about it? And adding to that, what does make a loli integrity as a character? Is it just the character design, or there are some other traits that define or let you recognize what is a loli?
I think she's not a loli Also, some other characters that can be argued about wheter they are or not lolis. >inb4 Megumin, Taiga, Komari
Let's do a recap >she's a loli >"14 IZ NUT A LOLI HURRR STOP USING WERDS WRONG" >14 is the age of the character which invented the term loli >"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WERDS CHANGE" >you're being hypocritical "NO U!!!1" Congratulations.
>"HURR SHE A LOLI" >Actually, you're using that word wrong. >"DURR BUT LOLI WERD CREATOR 14 AND GURL 14 IS THE SAME" >That definition is way outdated and not what the word is commonly accepted to mean in Yea Forums today. >"hurr ACKCHUALLY YOU SAID WERD RONG" >Not how that works. >"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" Just save us all the time and do as said.
Loli effectively means "little girl". Middle Schoolers are little girls. Middle Schoolers are lolis.
Now if you want to go by body type - which I think is better anyway, insofar as it relates to anime - then there are older looking middle schoolers and eternal lolis to contend with. In such a case the two options are "looks prepubescent" and "looks like they haven't finished puberty". Personally, though I can see the arguments against it, I prefer the latter. A lot of anime also lean towards this with the application of "lolicon" to people who prefer the JC body type. It also helps to separate the specific technical label of "pedophile" from the broader and less technical "lolicon" - after all, why else would we bother using both words?
Eli Gonzalez
Retards changed the way loli is used, just like the use of weeaboo, waifu, epic, meme, etc has lost their original meaning. People will call anything that isn't cowtits a loli, like Kaguya.
That's just reddit - by which I mean the people who run reddit, not even the people who use it - being cripplingly dumb to the point of giving any reasonable person an aneurysm. No one in their right mind thinks she's a loli, but loli has literally always been applied to JC-age girls unless exceptionally developed.
Samuel Jones
What about the sensei in Noucome? I think that she's clearly a loli, but obviously doesn't fit the age criteria.
For me, lolis are girls who haven't entered into puberty yet. In terms of age I consider girls from 5 to 10 (12 at most) years old to be lolis, while in terms of body type it would be the typical elementary school girl who is flat as a board (no budding cups) and doesn't have wide hips.
This, except for the last sentence. Loli is based on body type.
Wyatt Morgan
Yeah, so it's body type. Agefags who deny eternal lolis like Shinobu are just wrong about that when it comes to the definition of the word as it applies to anime.
I think as the age goes beyond low teens they have to have a very young body type to compensate for it. Like in Moetan where she was a university student by the end but still seemed like she was around 10, in face, body and personality.
You already had a full thread for yourself. Fuck off and let us have ours.
Zachary James
Loli is a state of being.
Michael Hill
I can see that for some reason - actual JCs are young and undeveloped enough to qualify for loli but older women with JC body types are developed enough that they don't have the same feel as eternal lolis. It's a bit complicated but there is a logic there. Still I think when making a general rule it makes sense for JC body types to still count for eternal lolis.
Christian Phillips
This thread is explicitly about discussing whether a certain JC is a loli. Even if we came to the conclusion that she isn't - which we have not - JCs are still relevant to the topic.
Isaiah Gray
If Akatsuki made Megumin 18 instead of 14 when writing Konosuba, would she still be a loli? And what if that 29-year-old teacher from NouCome was actually 14, would she suddenly become off limits?
>looks like they haven't finished puberty If I had to pick a definition, this is the one I'd go with. Though I do have a preference for young girls that are typically what people would call lolis, lately I've started caring less about whether they're loli or not and more about whether they make my dick hard. Takagi-san makes my dick hard.
I just came here to say that despite the wishes of you disgusting gaijin lolicons in denial, the superior japanese master race has decided that loli is both a body type and an age, but those things are not mutually exclusive.
A girl can be a loli and not look like a loli. She can also be a loli despite being older than a loli.
Is it ok for someone from Yea Forums to have Takagi as his waifu?
Thomas Bennett
Stop jerking off to child porn

>A girl who is either prepubescent or looks like she is prepubescent. Fixed.
Levi Allen
Loli have a prebubescent body, age is irrelevant, as is behavior or "mental age". Some factors (please do expand if you wish) that separate loli from petite: the torso and head are large in proportion to the arms and legs, a higher body fat percentage, narrow shoudlers, lack of secondary sexual characteristics such as a very distinct posterior, or budding breasts. The biggest identifiers for separating loli and petite is the proportion of the legs and arms compared to the torso, and whether the body is lean or lacks sharp features. A loli will for example have a relatively straight line from hips to armpits, while a petite character will have a noticable curvature inwards to the waist. Some characters are bordeline, and even more confusing, the same character can be drawn as loli in in one picture, while simply being petite in another. Official art tends to maintain proportions, but fanart is all over the place. Pic related is a pretty good example.
The same thing happened with onizuka when he was horny for high school girls
Jaxon Stewart
>Feels like Japan uses it more liberally than we do. Way more, yes. That's part of the reason we have our own definition instead of going "oh look at how the japs define it lel"
Carson Young
>I'm stuck in a argument wheter Takagi-san is or is not a loli. And this is what happens when you give attention to retards who use normalfag sites. Dear fuck. Holy shit you fucking idiot.
Caleb Lopez
Loli is just a term to objectify a fictional underage female character or an adult female character with child traits
Discussion over. There's nothing to discuss and you should kill yourself for still trying to argue about this. inb4 "but japs are wrong and our definitions are different!"
Luis Lee
What does it say?

If a girl could pass as an Olympic gymnast, I would call her petite/IMAGINE instead of loli
Easton Watson
This is what happens in "Araburu" when Sugawara tells Izumi her story whith the director. Izumi responds, calling the old man a "lolicon". The subs translate it as "pedophile", because that's the way japanese people reffer to an actual pedo. But the term "lolicon", is also used in other ways within the japanese and western anime-manga fan base.
If we use the terminology adapted to the Yea Forums context, what does exactly a lolicon like? Cunnys, JCs, petite girls and flat girls? Obviously not all the characters who are petite, have a teen look, or are beetween the ages of 14-17 are lolis. To think that is just silly. I think that the age is not a fundamental criteria to define what a loli is, and like a bunch of anons have already said, is the body type.
But I think, hence the body of a JC varies from girl to girl, is very difficult to define a simple standard for a loli. Although a think that makes a very good point. Certainly there are clear examples of lolis, like Shinobu and all the children on a series. But when we have a character like Takagi, is impossible to agree on whether she is or is not a loli, since she's on the verge between the distinction of the type.
Also, canon swimsuit Takagi for discussion. She's definitely a girl who has already hit puberty. Even Nishikata has trouble about bringing that topic in the school's pool chapter.
>our definitions are different! Yes, you retard newfag. You see the big fat "anime" that comprises the board's title? It's definition outside of Japan (anime is Japanese animated shows) is different than its definition inside Japan (anime is any animated show). Same with manga.
It always boils down to body type or age. We need to finally decide on the actual definition to end the infinite argument once and for all. So which is it, Yea Forums?
Robert Ward
Prepubescent, pubescent and adult girls all have different characteristic traits which make them sexually appealing. The true original definition of a loli is a girl who has sexy traits characteristic of a pubescent girl.
Colton Cook
How many times do you need to be told that that shitty definition that's older than you are doesn't apply to anything anymore?
Camden Anderson
Thanks for replying exactly in the way I expected, with the same kind of reaction face you always post, and even with a new IP so you can pretend you're new to this thread to boot. That's exactly why I brought that part up and I'm glad you took the bait. Don't forget to use that link to defend something in the future once again as well, and to commit suicide.
Dominic Moore

>We need to finally decide on the actual definition It's both. As long as they have either aspect, they're a loli. There's nothing to discuss.
Leo Price
Body type, and with that said Oppai-loli (ロリ巨乳) belong in the trash, fuck Noise.
Julian Collins
I don't quite get what you're angry at me for nor who do you think I am but sumimasen, user-san. I promise I won't do it again.
Of fucking course the forced age wars will never end. They're forced.
Bentley Gray
Yes, and so is this one. I'll let you connect your neurons on your own so you can figure out what they have in common, and what makes characters like this special. Good luck, I know you can do it.
No, that's just something boorus did for unknown reasons. Neither on Yea Forums nor anywhere in anime or otaku culture in general, loli has never had an exclusively sexual implication.
Cooper Miller
>for unknown reasons Danbooru did it so people buy their gold shit. Gelbooru did it to hide from Google-sama's dick.
They're why I use SanCom for my loli needs.

Being sexually attractive is a necessary condition of being a loli

Wait gelbooru removed loli?

I want to fuck this underage girl.

>loli a girl before puberty >also a loli a woman that looks like a 12 y/o boy /thread
Ayden Wood
You're fucking annoying. Kill yourself.
Jaxson Rogers
There's a reason they're called oppai loli - because the oppai is the only part of the body that's developed. To put it another way, the body isn't developed but the oppai is so they have to add the word to specify that. So yes it is about shape.
Just check the "Display all site content" box on options to see it.
Easton Flores
Our definitions are to some extent different though. Take the word hentai for example. It might be a Japanese words but the context we use it in is vastly different. The Japanese use it to mean 'pervert' or 'perverted' but we use it to refer to anime porn. Not agreeing or disagreeing with the loli thing, I just don't agree with your reasoning
Benjamin Richardson
He shut you up and you are mad. Go cool off
Incredible how you expected the answer but still got pwned by it
Kevin Brown
Sorry kid but "pwned" is not a word that's still used in the internet
It feels more like an anti-loli thread that tries to attack lolis by forcing a pointless discussion rather than plain hating on it, you're welcome to try derailing it into something decent but people will never stop replying to the OP so I doubt it can be salvaged
Yes, because she's 6, her species is close enough to human, and if you removed her tits she wouldn't be much more than a fat loli (hence oppai loli). Nice image by the way. Also imagine.
Sure she was >The novel is notable for its controversial subject: the protagonist and unreliable narrator, a middle-aged literature professor under the pseudonym Humbert Humbert, is obsessed with a 12-year-old girl, Dolores Haze, with whom he becomes sexually involved after he becomes her stepfather. "Lolita" is his private nickname for Dolores.
Cameron Miller
>Nice image by the way. A drawfag from Yea Forums made it apparently. Also I never noticed till now how many actual lolis granblue has.
Isaiah Turner
Imagine trying to stop lonely anons from fapping to drawings of fictional teenagers while there are elites out there raping pre-teens.
Ryder Bell
He tends to post here too every so often, I guess he got a longer ban than usual the last time he posted a lewd image in Cop Craft threads. His art isn't perfect but I like his style and his preferences.
The story takes place over the course of many years.
Oliver Kelly
Agreed. Loli is an appearance/bodytype and they are strictly not post-pubescent in appearance but can be pubescent rather than prepubescent.
The actual question is what the minimum age is - or rather what age the body type is based on. I think we'd all agree that infants != lolis, but maybe someone will argue against that. I honestly think most toddlers don't fit either, but I'm sure that will be met with criticism.
Luis Murphy
I'd say something like 6 or 7.
Eli Adams
is a girl who actually is "loli age" but doesn't physically appear so a loli? because in the case of Nezuko in the first couple chapters/episodes she was 12 which is arguably loli age but she really didn't look 12 at all, I thought she was like 16 before it said their ages.
Mason Phillips
I think most people consider her a loli even now, though I'm on the fence even for her first appearance. It's close enough for her, but more exaggerated differences don't work. I don't know any shows but I'm sure you've seen stuff like the nine year old with the body of an onee san - that definitely doesn't count.
Oliver Bennett
Anyone who gets off from this "what's her age" or "12 is hot" shit should kill themselves.
Benjamin Adams
It's chinese cartoons, so you should calm yourself down.
Josiah Hughes
You're right it is a cartoon but treating lolis like a real child is cringe and gay.
Joseph Martin
Oh, thought you were being a moralfag about loli=children. I'm not fond of the age talk but I'm not gonna begrudge another user the right to jack off - it's just not worth concerning myself over.
Charles Jones
Please grow up.
Eli Collins
More lolis should be like this.
Carson Robinson
It’s just a loli with big tits. Imagine being utterly wrong on something so simple
Angel Gray
It’s the body type. That’s why every little girl is a loli because they have a child-like body
James Anderson
If she's not underage then she's a legal loli.
Easton Smith
Loli categorization
>is underage and has prominent childish body = non-legal loli > age is legal however the body is 90% childsih = legal in our view, not in "normal" view >age is legal and body is showing growth of breasts and ass = legal > underage however the body seems mature = legal for us, but not for "normal" people
Kevin Thomas
I can't stop thinking about Lolis.
Dominic Wilson
based and true
John Gonzalez
Consider this: a fictional character does not have an age because they do not exist. I could draw a big tit milf and call her 5 yo, or draw a little girl and call her 70 yo. What number I choose is completely arbitrary and means nothing. Therefore, the only criteria left is the body. It's far from perfect, since real people will not all neatly look their exact age, but it's the only metric available.
Why is this so difficult for some "people" to understand? Is it because normalfags can't differentiate between reality and fiction?
Yes because they're literally just smaller lolis. It's only when you go full baby, as in under 2 years old who can't even walk, that they aren't loli enough yet.
Brody Gonzalez
>flat as a board >doesn't have wide hips. what is the point of them then
honestly cant see what appeal there is if they dont even have wide hips or big asses
Robert Perry
It's all about body type, it always has been. The grade she's in, the way she acts, irrelevant. People get defensive about "oh but she's actually 30 but she's really small, has a flat chest, etc" but in reality if her appearance seems "prepubescent" then it's classified as loli. However, this idea of what someone considers as "prepubescent" so wildly varied that it's often confusing and you get into arguments with people like stated in OP. Do I consider Takagi a loli? No. Do I consider Mina, a character in the same series, the same grade as Takagi, a loli? Yes. Do I consider Sagiri from Eromanga a loli? No. Her younger self from the flashbacks is her loli form. Do I consider Hotaru from Non Non Biyori a loli? Absolutely not. Have any of you ever considered Megumin from Konosuba a loli? I don't. Why did I say no to most of these? Because I just don't think their bodies looks like lolis, yet so many people call them lolis. It's often frustrating but I don't even know how to argue with it. This is all a personal preference that I have drawn the line with, and I'm 100% sure people will disagree with my opinion on this, but that's how it is.
In my opinion, a loli is essentially a very young girl who is more sexual than a girl of that age would (should) be in real life.
Now Takagi-san behaves more-or-less as a normal, fairly clued-up girl of that age would/could behave around a boy she liked.
So she isn't a loli, although it's close.
David Adams
Ultimately it's a body type, but there are various subtypes you should be aware of as an aspiring lolicon. For starters, a "true loli" should be considered as any girl in elementary school, with a short height, flat chest, and little to no hips. However, there are instances where the loli in question can be of adult age or even hundreds of years old due to various circumstances, the coveted "eternaloli" or "lolibaba". These should be designated as such to avoid confusion. Then there's the reverse, where a young girl has developed large breasts; this is known as an "oppai loli". Understanding the various subcategories and major classifications is going to help you in avoiding flamewars and understanding a whole array of cute 2D girls. I hope this was informative.
her bodytype isnt the loli body type, therefor, she isnt a loli Its not that complicated. Saigiri and every girl in her show for that matter look very developed for their age, and as such arent lolis
