Was this show worth watching even if you hate isekai?

Me too. Especially given that the manga is so far behind the anime it's not even worth considering at this point.

Yeah, sure. It escapes a lot of the tropes of isekai by ensuring that every important character is from "our" world. It's basically a bunch of people playing a really convincing video game rather than a 'real' isekai.

Bored. Because this show, frankly speaking, was about nothing at all.
I kinda hoped there would be nice storyline and character interactions because of anime's theme (parents in main role are rarity after all), but all conflicts between Masato and Mamako were done by second episode and since then, nothing important happened between those two. But it's okay - it's not like bad story is something unheard of, right?
Except there's nothing else to watch in this anime either. Incest bait? Hardly. Every once in a while Mamako gets undressed, only for MC to howl about how much he doesn't want this to happen.
Just fapbait? Barely. For being ecchie show, mama-online is seriously lacking in amounts of female bodies per minute. I guess this penultimate episode kinda gave us some fanservice in most retarded way possible, but it's mostly played for joke of "why no one reacts to this".
So there's no story, not enough fanservice to cover up lack of story or action, and nothing else. I wanted to say that it's anime about jerking off Mamako, but that's wrong too, because show also manages to paint her as pretty stupid and all her success is only thanks to her mommy skills and help from strangers charmed by those.

And let's not forget that actually interesting and noteworthy storyline about sabotage of this mommmy game is dead because next episode is final one, and it will most likely be just another "problem - Mamako solves it - new mommy skill" routine, with possible cliffhanger that relies on some pretty fucking unrealistic expectations of good BD sales.

If it was 2012 or something, I'd say it be more successful thanks to fan-art, but everyone and their dog are busy drawing FGO smut, so I also wouldn't get my hopes up for some hentai based on this.
