Sniper here. I was holding back for similar reasons, but now we're in the final stretch of the anime and I felt things may lose momentum on the readership side if releases didn't speed up, even if they were non-uniform in presentation.

For the sake of catching up I feel the more typesetters the better, but it'd be nice to have a system in place. E.g one person does odd chapters, one evens or do as I did and hop a few chapters ahead of the previous person and they fill the gap.

Unless some new factor gets introduced I see two likely scenarios. One is that Sakura and Joshua were battling another magical girl together, and that other magical girl is the one who sealed Joshua. The other is that whatever happened there put Sakura in desperate need of a wish, and Joshua voluntarily let himself be sealed to give her enough tokens to make it.

One thing that blew my mind was how that Riko and Shirozawa were responsible for TamaSakura-chan's candies being so addictive. ... And considering that was instigated by Anri, I'm now wondering just how many instances of the overall story progressing are directly linked to her. Off the top of my head, I can think of three: She clued in Shamiko that there was a Magical Girl in the School, and led her to said girl, she "just happened" to have a gig available that allowed Shamiko to meet Mikan, and she directed Shamiko to Cafe Asura. All three of which had a big impact on the story.

I would not be surprised at all to find her family is running the demon directory. It would explain how she knows the dark clan members in town. For someone who is supposed to be "normal human", she's awfully connected to the magic side of things. She's even been shown with horns once, albeit as a keychain doll and only in the chapter 4 intro splash panel.

I think Seiko is more involved with all of this than what's been shown.

is it possible Seiko and Sakura are related? in conjunction with the theory that Seiko used to be a magical girl. it would explain why Sakura would go so far to help the Yoshida family.

Anything's possible, though it does raise the question of why Seiko was so keen to get Yuuko to murder a magical girl if A) she was one herself, and B) she was related to one that was helping them out. Unless she knows still more than she's letting on and she didn't actually want to murder one but instructed Yuuko to do so as part of a complex gambit.

I love this show a lot. The characters are full of love. Momo is concerned about Shamiko and vice versa. Anri-chan has been supporting Shamiko as a friend the whole time, knowing she was poor and frail too. And Shamiko does her best to be Ryoko's role model.

I'm definitely omitting Mikan and Ogura. Not because they aren't bad, but Mikan doesn't really do anything significant until the later volumes, as is Ogura.

I thought this was going to be a different kind of dream for a bit there.

Most Kirara shows never really clicked with me, although I watched the majority of them.

Urara was about girl(s) who wants to be the top fortune teller. We never see them progress beyond the beginner ranks and their goals are too abstract.
Hanayamata was about a blonde foreign girl who lives in Japan because she wants to learn some obscure festival dance. At the end of the show it's just "I have good friends lol"
Comic Girls is about a girl with a perverted old man's attitude who wants to become a manga artist. At the end of the show, a year passes and she achieves pretty much nothing and waits for her friends to come back to the apartment.
And so on and so forth.

But Machikado is about a girl living in poverty who wants to help put food on her family's table and be a good role model for her sister.
We're near the end now, Momo has fresh leads on her missing sister, the family curse is partially broken, and Ancestor can talk.

We are nowhere at the end after the realization that Shamiko is on life support by the sacrifice made by Momo's sister and her dad and ancestor remain imprisoned in sealed space.

What do you mean on life support? That implies that Sakura's support for Shamiko's life is temporary and will run out? I thought she was more like Shamiko's organ donor and the improvement to Shamiko's health permanent?
