Ore.Imo. could have been so much better weren't it for the executive meddling censoring all the good things; that ending was obscenely terrible.
Basically it was troubled with:
- Kirino is a terrible character because the businessmen wanted the incest references toned down.
- Kyousuke was a terrible character because he needs to be as bland as humanly possible to cater to the self-inserters
So one ends up with the two main leads in a romance basically not being all that great.
I swear, this show would have been god-tier if they actually allowed Kirino to be more flirty and gave Kyousuke some character and went not with a full reversal at the end.
