Worse than Apocrypha.

our precious bois

Attached: IMG_1712.jpg (2048x1876, 607K)

Good up until the train arc.
Then the show just got boring.
Also bringing the culprit up as a never before seen character who you're just mentioning with other characters doing an investigation is incredibly shitty writing.
This show is absolute trash at writing mysteries.

I really like old Waver.
I want to tightly hug Gray.
I want to viciously rape Reiness.

But I have to agree the overall plot is pretty boring.

Attached: 75905770_p4.jpg (2300x2900, 1.46M)

It was never meant to be a full-fledged mystery anime. It's more mythical and magic Sherlock than anything else

I hope we'll get just a dash more Luvia for the end.

We also need more Gray being cute!

Attached: 1563675696079.jpg (1046x1771, 958K)

It's almost it's a long running story or something.
I find it funny when people make it a point to say they don't understand what they're watching then proceed to try and back it up with "I have very little exposure to ""mystery"" series" like.. The thought process (or lack thereof) must be really intriguing
(and stop watching anitube user. It's not healthy)

>no more cute Gray ending

Attached: cute gray.webm (1280x720, 545K)

Isn't this 13 episodes?

According to MAL, yes.

Yes according to BD section on the official website. Ep 13 will probably be the epilogue + some anime original i guess?

Flat is too precious, but Svin and Caules are fine too.

The culprit reveal here is just the presentation of the final boss. Rail Zeppelin is supposed to leave you with more questions than answers, because it's literally a big cliffhanger for what comes later. It's not a standalone case because this is not really a mystery series.

Then Atlas Contract and Grand Roll come and everything is tied up and anwsered in a neat manner. If Sanda does something well is to make everything work by the end.

Only if you like epic explosions I guess.

Well, this episode should have a lot of what you like then.

Yeah how Kara no Kyoukai dared to present Araya Souren as the main antagonist and the one behind directly behind the conflicts in the first 3 movies. What a copout.

I'll definitely miss this bit.

This entire arc is a setup for the bigger plot of the series. If you want to introduce the main antagonist for the next two arcs is logical to do it that way.

Last episode already, huh.

Who is Gray for anons?

Gray for (You)

Nope, episode 13 will be the last one

Gray (Me)

By me.

There is another episode next week.

Actually that's the Child of Einnashe. Heartless just summoned it with his spatial displacement thing.

Attached: ssd156907956486750.jpg (1280x720, 46K)

It's funny but yeah, she survives all that.

Well done.

That is good

I wish gray would rongo bongo me

Attached: 1569079550024.jpg (1920x1080, 364K)

To be fair the novel made it sound more impressive.

Because they made the starlight light green in the anime and looks ugly.

Dunno if I like Troyca! Heartless

Attached: Doctor_heartless.jpg (420x460, 40K)

Who is Heartless's VA?

The fuck, Blind Priest can fight Servants?

he got his eyes back

...

Even then, I hadn't gauged Karabo as being that strong

Karabo outranks Kirei, and Faker is fucking weak
she's a literal who that has no legend nor deed

Gray-tan > Mashu

Karabo can't win against her. I mean, she killed him right there in a single good blow.

Also again, Faker is not that weak. She is more like kind of average tier.

I love both Gray and Mashu!

Karabo lost. The novel makes clear he can fight a bit against one, but ultimately he will lose. And that's exactly what happened here.

Faker fought and won against AoG mages all the time when she was alive. She is anything but weak. The novel even points all the time how everyone is totally outclassed here.

This idea of she being weak only comes from Troyca's subpar animation. What the actual novel describes is nothing of the sort.

Weak compared to other Servants because of her meme class and ripoff NP.

Compared to knights maybe, but compared to other cavalry Servants not really? She has potent AoG magecraft, that puts her above most AoM Casters.

At last this cunt got told off.

>Inori Minase
>Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
>now Fukuyama Jun

The power of otakubux.

doesn't matter when the worth of a HEROIC SPIRIT is on the legend which she has nothing of.

But Gil has less legend clout than other servants and he's still more powerful than most of 'em.

Not really, fame is just another piece of what makes a Servant strong. How strong she was when alive is also important. Also she is pretty much part of Iskandar legend, to the point her appareance is what history book say (dark hair, heterochromia...). She is also the living embodiment of that Alexander anecdote about he and Hephaestion being equal, so Hephaestion is also Alexander.

Attached: 1563723465145.jpg (700x1625, 162K)

Having a Saber cameo for Rhongomnyad was nice. Riders in general should stop trying to rush down her noble phantasms though, it doesn't seem to ever work

/r/ing a webm of the 13 seals

Well, like Iskandar she also survives the rush down.

The Clock Tower has a very chuuni name sense yeah. It's also an alias and not his real name.

is not it a 13ner?
kind of agree. mysteries were all crap, side cast is meh. we found out 0 about gray saber, etc.

many other shows had mystical elements while managing to be good or at least fun train wracks

There is a 13th episode.

Not the first Fate character he voices
youtube.com/watch?v=III7bzSw9vQ

It's not even a full series, it's just an adaptation of a single case with original episodes at the start.

Also it's not worse than Apocrypha.

Yeah. Out of all the spinoff stuff so far this is pretty solid compared to Apo and whatever that Shaft abomination was, but hey at least Prism is getting it's fifth season

And this is not bad? I mean it's not great either but it was pretty serviceable. The lowest part was Troyca's small budget showing.

YOU JUST KNOW

Seal 13 was pretty cool not gonna lie

>Saber cameo
Where?

We need more Reines and Gray lewds!

Attached: reines wants to breed.webm (1280x720, 1.23M)

The show started at episode 0, so this is the 13th episode.

She's one of the voices.

There is another episode left next week.

Why is he such an unbelievable faggot.

she and 5 of her knights have spoken lines at the end Rhongobongo scene. the knights that spoke at the end in order of appearance is. Lancelot, Bedivere, Gaheris, Kay and Agravin. the LN actually showed their faces but the anime just made them figures of light.

Attached: 97879.jpg (1824x1344, 181K)

Episode 0 came out way back as a taster. It's not part of the full runtime.

Attached: 1551412713496.png (432x485, 15K)

Her voice and Kay in the last scene.

>he LN actually showed their faces
You mean Agravain and Bedivere? And I guess Lancelot's pauldron. Where's Gaheris?

no official design for gaheris as of yet. this episode would be the first time they even officially voiced him. the only official design for a Kotr that case file brought about is the design for sir Kay.

Maybe that is next mystery he should be solving?

Attached: 1567324905949.jpg (1920x1380, 227K)

Why Heartless boards the chariot when he's supposed to be aware of this episode? The distance between them is 5-10 times longer too.

I could recognize Angyadow anytime

It's a shame they just had Saber and Kay voice all the approvals instead of the knights themselves.

once you taste the red king there is nothing that can match it.

How long until Faker gets added to FGO?

in the world of magic whydnit does not matter my head hurts everytime they say it

>gray will never whisper you that eardrum shattering rongo bongo
why live

HOWAIDANNITO

Ono Daisuke (Add/Kay) and Kawasumi Ayako (Arturia) are the only VAs credited for the scene. Miyano Mamoru (Bedivere) and Okiayu Ryotaro (Lancelot) weren't in the episode.

Realistically? 1.5 years. Maybe they'll rerun it next year with Apoc but that's optimistic.

>he never fucked Fran

what a boring servant, dw would never waste their resource

Attached: 1563081583580.png (394x398, 158K)

Minecraft yourself

I don't remember if the novel specifies if he is there.

What are the chances that he's going to fuck Yvette in the future?

Wait so Rhongomyniad has seals like Arthur’s Excalibur?

Doesn’t Artorias Excalibur have seals too?

Yeah. Artoria's Rhongo and Arthur's Excalibur have the same 13 Seals system. Artoria's Excalibur also got retconned to having some kind of seals, but the specifics are not known.

By Heartless teleporthax, still...

Ultimately kind of boring. Too much of this show is conveying the details of a setting through talking head exposition.

Good. If he did that would be like fucking a 10 year old retarded girl

Attached: fgo frankenstein mordred alt.jpg (1000x1365, 623K)

>got retconned
That's always been there. Nasu's hinted since the beginning that Artoria's Excalibur had more power to it than what she's ever done with it

youtu.be/ZGbNk2WgAVs

Is it just me or does anyone else prefer Prototypes Excalibur?

I don't remember it ever being mentioned like that in the original VN. The only points were Extella, when it was apparently used to defeat an ancient alien that every other god got their shit kicked in by, and in FGO, that actually added in an interlude where she mentions it.

I liked this chapter.
Waver wrecking Faker with some trick every time she gets too riled up is linda funny. First she tried to run him over and he redirected the lighting. Now she used Trisha's amulet to reflect her Mystic Eyes.
Olga being useful was nice.
Caules isn't Caules surprised me

Attached: P4lZSC5.jpg (1920x1080, 586K)

>final

I thought we were getting 25 like Fate/Zero?

Attached: sweating shirou.jpg (600x588, 46K)

why is the spear cucked by decisions and approvals? who even makes the choices

We all agree that the stupid reaper alien lore that got added in Extella sucks right?

Wasn't in the original VN, I'm more so talking about interviews. He's always been hinting that it's been significantly more powerful when used vs alien and other threats to humanity - such as dead apostle ancestors

Something something about the lance's true strength being so powerful that it's holding the boundary between the real world and the Reverse Side in place, where all the magic and mysteries from the Age of Gods went to. Knights of the Round Table formed a decision system where each restricted the power of the lance unless it met a certain condition, like "fighting someone stronger than me", "fighting to save the world", "fighting one on one", etc.

no and its fine. Grand order is coming and this was not going anywhere interesting anyway

is this yuri

I just wish they stopped doing his pillar of light thing every single time. It's not supposed to suddenly redirect itself to the sky after hitting a target (unless it's something giant like Gilles' Cthulhu. Why the fuck they added this effect to Mordred and Alter is beyond me.

Each knight placed a seal on it.
So they did the decisions centuries ago

Because it's so unbelievably powerful they put it to a democratic vote of what you're allowed to use it on.

Attached: monty.jpg (1000x538, 97K)

no. what would make you think it was?

I think Arthur was aiming at Proto Gilgameshs arrow.

Glory lies beyond the horizon.

Challenge it because you know it to be unattainable.

Attached: 76116223_p0.png (1500x1092, 1.61M)

>This show is absolute trash at writing mysteries.

The Mysteries never seemed the focus so much as Waver getting his feelings about his king sorted out.

Speak of conquest and make it real.

No, it was great. Also added another one, that kicked Goldies ass (which is always good).

For my men who watch behind me.

Attached: 76698298_p0.png (1364x1754, 1.72M)

He was but I'm not talking about Arthur. Hell we barely see his Excalibur here because of the tsunami.

Well, I enjoyed it and would like to see more. It was fun seeing Fate stuff that wasn't 100% focused on servants (Though the holy grail war itself did play a major role. Hard to not when you've got Waver as the main character).

I would like her more if she was actually just a spooky alien and not a spooky alien that somehow became Attila the Hun.

And to expand the Nasuverse lore and giving some cool magecraft.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_13.26_[2019.09.21_20.39.04].jpg (1280x720, 100K)

Better that than be with a faggot that will never fuck her.

They shooting a vampire Forest to dead with mashed mystic eye laser was pretty cool

Yes, because this Caules never even met her.

>People still think it was vanilla excalibur
Just wait til this design gets retconned into Grand Saber.

Attached: Galactica.jpg (960x544, 182K)

Ehhh... Are we getting another episode?

Did that look like a final episode to you?

Olga-marie's chant was actually kinda cool

and where is any of that? he bitches for 12 eps and we learn nothing new. he was weak even facing the shadow. The whole thing felt like a plot of cheap video game that would have a lot of grinding train stops

Is waver waving around the cigar because it is an anti-magic tool?

I want to impregnate both Gray and Reines!

Attached: 9377e1597dc90c6aebd34868a176def1.png (1238x1600, 2.05M)

her "I guess its ok to get angry" was not

Karaptos is bad ass. He can one vs one against a servant.

Olga used Meteor spell? Is she a sage?

Did they use up a mystic eye to do this?

because this is two novels in the middle of a 10 novel series dumbdumb

>Faker
>as strong as an actual Servant
Church guys are pretty strong though.

Did her hair turn blonde in this scene?

No he can't, he can not die to one instantly like most people

The same as has always been said about high ranking church members - Ciel, Kirei (with command seals), and Karaptos

Ah shit, it's that guy! I was wondering why his magic looked so similar to Fran's.

Only medusa and king of conquerors tried it.

>Silver loli on the left, blonde loli on the right
>one calls you shishou, the other calls you aniue
Living the dream.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_09.19_[2019.09.21_11.59.38].jpg (1280x720, 467K)

Interesting one of the needed condition is that this is not a battle against elementals. Because Arthur is the king of fairies?

How did Gray use the spear against the fairy protal?

Waver is not going to get physically or magically strong. His forte is to know how to solve a problem and how to make other people do it very well.

I kind of hate how everything related to FGO is so lacking in creativity. We have Rhongomiant, king Arthur's legendary dragonslaying spear. You could make it work in so many ways as a noble phantasm, and yet they were like "well its saber so it fires a glowing beam of light and is basically the same as excalibur lol"

Is there any spark between them?

She was actually aiming at the Black Dog (that wasn't a real elemental) and the portal is not a spirit, just a gate.

>Anti-world class weapon
>Fight one on one

Why?

Unfortunately for everyone involved, he's exclusively into over 2 meters tall gingers

>FGO
>Excalibur did the same thing from the beginning

Ahhh thanks. That makes sense.

good to see you agree that the show has failed us.

Yes, that's exactly my point. They had the opportunity to give Artoria another cool, different Noble Phantasm and they just gave her Excalibur with another name.

Literally don't think too hard about it

Which condition is for which knight?

Are Rhongomyniad and Longinus the same thing in the Nasuverse? The wiki seems to allude to that being the case, but it doesn't really make a lot of sense

>show will clearly run for at least another season so long as it doesn't absolutely tank
>why they no resolve series in season 1!!?!?!?!?!?!

Longinus was revealed to be similar originally, but they removed it from the profile
It's seemingly a world pillar like Rhon and Roma's spear

His cigar is an all purpose tool. When explaining temples and workshops to Gray on the first novel he turns a small area of his apartment into a temple briefly with the smoke

Mashed mystic eye lazor

That's only in the last novel, after Shirou summons Saber

Bedivere: The enemy must be more powerful than oneself
Palamedes: The battle must be one-on-one
Lancelot: The enemy must not be an elemental
Mordred: The battle must be one against evil
Galahad: The battle must not involve personal gain
Gaheris: The battle must not be inhumane
Gareth: Unknown condition.
Agravain: The battle must be for truth
Kay: The battle must be to live
Arthur Pendragon: The battle must save the world.
Unknown knight: One's comrades-in-arms must be courageous
Unknown knight: The battle must be an honorable one

Attached: dygw9eijic0z.png (2580x1375, 3.73M)

Dammit Lancelot, you got to protect the fey too after betraying your king.

Is that why he smokes like a chimney?

>Mordred: The battle must be one against evil

I... what?

So what even fufills all the conditions, a 1 on 1 battle with someone slightly stronger than you that will result in the end of the world where you lose?

>Kay: The battle must be to live

Kay is a good knight.

>Galahad: The battle must not involve personal gain
Yeah that's goodie two shoe knight.

>Arthur Pendragon: The battle must save the world.
Saber being saber.

The DM (God) made it so players won't abuse this tool.

>Galahad
Fuck that hypocritical asshole.

You would think that is Gwain, being entrusted with the belt of the green knight.

I think Arthur is much more like Shirou than Saber.

That's Lancelot's condition actually. Probably because he was raised by the Lady of the Lake

Isn't Saber's entire character being >Must save Britain and >Sir eat a lot and looks very cute?

Attached: YOU.png (1440x810, 263K)

Oh that makes sense.

Was that true in the original Authurian legend?

The only thing I had a problem with was, out of everything they could've done as an opportunity flesh out the universe, they had to pick the one arc that deals with FGO, as though they were afraid to branch out.
The whole thing felt more like an FGO tie in than anything original, which is a shame.

I will try to have this finished next week.

Attached: mage_ranks_wip.png (2900x3000, 1.07M)

They started with this one because it starts the actual main story and introduces the main villain

So did the French author of Morte de Arthur came up with Sir Lance A Lot ironically?

Yvette was with minerology?

To be fair, that whole FGO connection doesn't really matter in the next two arcs. Even the reason by Heartless needs a Servant is disconnected from all that.

>Fuck that hypocritical asshole.

What makes them hypocritical?

It's really the first true part of the story. The first two arcs have little connection other than establishing a few characters.

Heartless was the last head of mordern magic?

Neither Luvia or Rin are in Norwich, they're in Mineralogy. They just attend Waver's classes.

Mordred is not exactly evil and she hates genuinely evil acts as Apocrypha has shown. And her alignment is Chaotic Neutral so no she is not evil.

Well if you put it that way, shirou's character is
>I save and protect everyone
>I cook food for everyone

>Was that true in the original Authurian legend?

Defining 'original' with Arthurian stuff is a lost fucking cause. Lancelot himself is actually a very recent addition to it, being raised by the Lady of the Lake is not a Fate addition though.

Yes, Lancelot and Galahad are both French OC donut steels
Kinda like the Gil vs Ishtar conflict is an Akkadian fanfic

She is in both, so I guess I will put her in Modern too.

They are multiple courses. And in HA is said they have their dorms in Norwich.

At first Arthur wanted to use the grail to save Britain and usher in a utopia but he learns the grail is corrupted and instead focuses more on saving the future and forgets about the past.

Ahhh thanks. Look like I need to brush up on my Arthurian legend again.

That was Lancelot's backstory in pretty much every version of the arturian myths that has magic and fairies im prominent roles. He's Lancelot du Lac (Lancelot of the Lake) because of that.
But Lancelot himself is late middle ages French fanfic

Funny they were both from Gaul tribes while fighting against the Frankish tribes.

Well there got to be high jumping in there somewhere.

Wait hold the fucking phone Ayaka went to clock tower?

Good point. Chaotic cute.

>Akkadian
It's dumb how they lessened Siduri's importance.

In Fate/school life and Strange Fake yeah.

So you are telling me 1000 years ago people still write shitty fanfics of their favourite characters?

Have we changed at all?

It's funny that Lancelot isn't even the original guy doing the 'Invincible Cuckoldry Knight' thing. That goes to Tristan, who is one of the oldest knights (As far as when the story was written) and loves sleeping with his wife's lord as much as he loves not losing fights.

She and her weird parallel universe double are a major plot point in Strange Fake

That was not from the original tablet?

>I never give up regardless of circumstances
There you go

Who is Chardin? Is he a Char?

>loves sleeping with his wife's lord as much as he loves not losing fights.

So Tristrian is basically an isekai MC?

Oh I was wondering because I thought she wouldn’t have taken part in the Tokyo holy grail war then.

You know, Adashino is growing on me.

She is very cute.

Another lecturer that Waver's mentions.

He helped you against Goetia then called you a fag for defeating him and fucked off.

Could Morded have beaten Arthur if the latter didn't have Rhongomyniad?

What future exactly?

Ever heard of the Aeneid?

Shit posting then, shit posting now.

I see no difference.

Romans writing shitty fanfic changing the story of Illyad?

>huh so this is why Lancelots a berserker in zero

youtu.be/DPXG4pdPj4w

A non-canon sequel fic, but yeah, that's the gist of it

Not in the slightest. The only reason the Round Table didn't have a samurai on it is because nobody knew japan existed when they were writing the tales. I mean, that's how we have:

>A black knight
>A biracial knight (Who due to the writer not really knowing how that works was black down one side and white down the other)
>A Babylonian Knight who was a descended from Gilgamesh
>A French Cuckoldry Knight
>A French Anti-Cuckoldry Knight (When it became socially unacceptable to want to bang your lord's wife)
>An Irish Knight

Anyone who complains about the purity of an adaption of Arthurian tales being inauthentic is a fucking idiot. It's got a dozen versions and every single one of them was a result of someone either wanting to include their OC Do Not Steal or because they wanted to adapt it to fit modern social movements.

That's the entire reason Galahad is a thing. A later addition when Courtly Love was no longer a thing people liked and someone got a bug up his butt about 'Hey...isn't that whole sleeping with Arthur's wife really non-christian?'

not unless they decide to animate the next 5 volumes of source material.

Now I want a tribal fanfiction.

Fate's Agravain is surprisingly good. Kay too.

No, Inanna was the patron god of Uruk. She had a decent relationship with Gil in the original. Akkadians rewrote it because they were trying to shill their new god, Marduk.

Darn.

Even back then.

Who was the Babylonian knight?

best bro Kay. raising and mentoring 2 different Artorias 1500 years apart.

Attached: 104621.jpg (2014x1472, 1.16M)

Palamedes. Saracen and also the Prince of Babylon. He's eternally a character I'm surprised Fate isn't all over, with the duel loves of Gilgamesh and Round Table it has.

>Muh special snowflake magic

Ahhh thanks. Sarcen? Dammit that is not Uruk.

He's somehow both. Look, see my example with the biracial knight for how well some authors actually understood how other parts of the world work.

If Saladin has only barely been mentioned, then it's not gonna talk about Palamedes that much either.

>only I can bully my sister if anyone else dies or they are fucking dead

Best trope

Why is it called Rail Zepplin if it's just a train?

Best niisan.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schienenzeppelin

>Babylonian knight
Esclabor and his sons Sir Palamedes, Safir and Segwarides are all of Babylonian decent.

palamedes is known for cock blocking and attempted cuckery of Tristan.

not much of a pal at all i'd say

Which you've got to admit is a balsy move against the original cuckoldry knight, trying to beat him off at his own game.

Palamedes' big issue in the stories is generally that he sets his sights on tasks that are utterly impossible. He also chases the questing beast, despite knowing that he's not the person destined to catch it and hunts the Holy Grail.

there is more to it as well. Palamedes sided with Lancelot during the Guinevere affair. Mordred arranged to have Tristan killed using Palamedes's spear by the fall of Camelot Gawain is duty/honor bound to kill Palamedes.

Is this based on a novel or a manga?
I remember the intermediate promos in the Apochryfa episodes but I couldn't understand if it was an LN or a manga.

LN, though there's also a manga adaption.

LN. It has anime and manga adaptations.

Novel. They adapted volumes 4 and 5 out of 10

It was a LN which concluded with its 10th volume a few months ago.
The manga started within the past year or so, and is going into the 2nd volume's content in adaptation.
This anime was about half original shit, and half being content spanning the 4th and 5th.

a 10 volume completed LN series.
the anime is based on the events of vol4 and 5. with some original content.
the event of vol 1, 2 and 3 may be released in the future as OVAs. Either way the event in these earlier volumes are available in manga format .

The events of volume 1 are available in manga form you meant.
And it's unlikely there will be an animation of the earlier volumes desu

the manga is currently on volume 3 of the LN.

Headmaster should be Zelretch according to the VN and Prism Illya.

>1 more episode left
I'm gonna miss this series.

Attached: D5fPCOEUUAEBkCe-orig.jpg (1047x1000, 89K)

Hopefully we'll get another season, since this one is a lot of setup.

Zelretch isn't the Headmaster there either.

>fucking Chekhov’s guns all over the place
>”the culprit was never brought up!”

Why is it always people with a third-grader’s grasp of the genre always the ones to talk the most shit?

Additional note about the 13 Seals: If the ones on Gray's Rhongomyniad work like the ones on Arthur's Excalibur, then it becomes more powerful the more seals have deactivated AND you need a minimum of 7 Seals to properly invoke its True Name. Gray only had 5, so her blast this time did not meet that condition.

The horrible things I’d do to her

Wonder if she can use the snake for anything unconventional?

The conditions are to use mor power of the spear. It can be used against the conditions but with less power. And not all the conditions must be fullfilled at the same time.

she's not going to put a snake up your butt

I'm not hearing any downsides, user.

Any proof of that? Headcanon not included

is this the real hephaestion?

Attached: aa.jpg (1024x576, 358K)

No. That's Eumenes.

No, that's some dude Faker compares Waver to most likely, starts with an E

This is why you don't fuck with the big G, kids.

Attached: Ayayaiyai.png (1373x977, 2.19M)

Source? It always seemed like a weird design choice to design a dude to look just like Waver and not have him be Waver, so my next guess would've been Hephaestion or something

It's not confirmed. Faker just says he's just like the guy in terms of personality so it's assumed.

anime.stackexchange.com/questions/40220/who-are-these-soldiers-from-riders-ionioi-hetairoi

faker in the LN says Waver reminds her of Eumenes so naturally most people assume thats the guy she is referring to.

This is Iskandar's line in FGO for Waver: Hm? You have a strategist with a stern countenance. I’d like to see him compete with Eumenes- Ah, he’s still an immature youth on the inside. How amusing it would be if he met Hephaestion!

People have also said that Hephastion's Shadow also compares him to Eumenes in the LN, but I cannot confirm this myself.

>Karabo vs. Faker is unironically the closest thing we'll ever get to Shiki vs. any servant

So Tsukihime has been 100% absorbed by fate, and the 2011 remake was re-announced in 2017 and still hasn't materialized. What now?

Grey is cute and the ed is great. 2nd season when? Magical Sherlock Holmes is probably the best thing Fate has ever shat out.

Cool, thanks.

gray's rongo blast just deleting faker out of the sky is pretty funny

Lelouch vi Britannia commands you... man Jun sure knows how to go around for voice acting.

Do we have a full gear designs for the other knights like Bedi, Gareth etc?

Gareth's Stage 1 IS her in full tin can.
Bedi just doesn't have a helmet.

IIRC it's anti-fortress A++ NP with seals and anti-world EX NP when at least half of them released.

Dunning-Kreuger Effect

My ignorance. I only knew of her debut being in Summer 3 of F/GO. Never really heard of her coming up in any supplemental material for things.

Don't get me wrong. She's precious. But She, Mordred, Fran, and maybe Sanzou are the only GS servants who I've seen no kickback for it. I've unfortunately exposed myself to a good number of dumb people in this franchise.

DUDE...

These toothy minifaces make it look somewhat like King Crimson.

Is "it's setup for later volumes" really an excuse if the later volumes get even more retarded?

I'm not really feeling those faux dog ears.

They really don't? I mean this wasn't even retarded, just the bad guy doing a magical ritual to get something he needs.

This might be the weirdest writing and translation I've seen of Fate as of yet, god dammit.

Watch Kara no Kyoukai and try to explain within the context of the movie how Araya's whole plan works and the symbolic magical aspect to it.

He's a personal friend (sugar daddy) to both Aozaki sisters before his suicide in Clocktower 2015. They both attend to his funeral and try to investigate his death.

Ayaka always exists as a magus and would eventually join as Waver's student. The one who wasn't born in some timelines is Manaka which confirms my theory she's born to compliment the Unholy Grail that births the Beast of Revelations.

Yeah they mentioned it (not by name) as foreshadowing about his nature as Waver's nemesis.

Wasnt Willy Wonka seen as enforcer in FZ?

Attached: 89DQXAcl.jpg (602x338, 19K)

Looks more like waver to me

The original conflict was Gil trying to be a prideful bitch and steal some of Innana's tributes and duties in the temple. Innana told him to back off, he insulted her, so she went angry and released the bull. He apologized in the end for his actions and continued their merry way. Gil helps Inanna and viceversa in the poem. Their relationship wasn't antagonist aside from that. Nasu I think tried to make Ere and Ishthar splits of the Original Inanna. Which made no sense, but whatever.

That's not Shiki, that's Shiki. Not to be confused with Shiki, SHIKI, or Shiki, mind you.

Yeah actually, it's implied in Case Files that he got the whole heads in tubes thing from there.

I'm going to miss this series and gray next week.. she's so cute..

I don't think your personal inability to comprehend stuff is the show at fault now

So why doesn't Artoria's excalibur have 13 seals on it?

Who wins in a fight between Shiki, Shiki, Shiki, and Shiki?

>The Enforcers aren't really a faculty either
They are. They belong to Policies.

it does

How did Aoko make Shiki's glasses, anyway? Her magecraft knowledge is basically just shoot lasers at people or punch lasers into people. And it's not like sealing away a top-tier mystery like MEODP is a trivial problem, either. Did she use Blue to do it?

Shiki, only retards would say Shiki would win

She never unseals them to use it, though, not even to blow away AM.

>fgo

So would Saber + Avalon + Unsealed EXcalibur be Grand Saber?

Iskandar did the same in Zero tough. And his Master wasn't able to create spatial movement like Heartless is able to.

Iskandar just dodged it.
Here she, apparently, actually takes the hit.

>I'm still not entirely sure on why Faker rejects the army. Is she butt blasted that after Alexander's death everyone tore the Empire apart and destroyed Iksander's "dream."

Yeah basically that. The anime skipped her saying that the diadochi are fucking hypocrites.

Iskander dodged the excaliblast in Zero, he didn't tank the hit and live

Rise up /alter/ chads!

Saber hasn't been relevant at all in FGO despite being the face of the franchise. One of the lost belts is Camelot and she'll probably be the focal point.
She's almost certainly Grand Saber when she has everything.

Here we don't see her taking the hit. She doesn't actually.

If by nasuverse you mean fgoverse, sure.
Tsukihime and KnK have very little chuuniness compared to Fate and more importantly, to neo-Fate.

in before, b-b-but Tsukihime has magic therefore it's 100% chuuni shounen dbz-like series.

That's the power of TM CEO.

>The anime skipped her saying that the diadochi are fucking hypocrites
Kind of lame. Always a fan of more history. Maybe they put it in the final episode.

Wasn't that because he had the sheath.

She stole Touko's glasses and used Blue to make them indestructible. Touko had glasses capable of blocking Jewel class Mystic Eyes laying around because she's Touko.

It is.

>Tsukihime and KnK have very little chuuniness compared to Fate and more importantly, to neo-Fate.
You mean the story about a anemic depressed highschooler with DEATH powers that turn him into a turbo-roided magic ninja killing machine that can insta-murder everything he looks at, and which he uses to team up with a vampire princess to hunt other vampires in between threatening to rape all of his female acquaintances including the immortal church assassin nun who throws blessed dagger-crosses like shuriken?

He's a dead DAA that despite being dead for centuries still didn't realize he's actually dead, so he's still going around business as usual.

I think you can reach Reverse Side through Albion but that doesn't mean you will reach Avalon itself.

>Tsukihime and KnK have very little chuuniness compared to Fate and more importantly, to neo-Fate.
Don't you lie to us user. KnK had its fair share of chuuni shit, not to mention LMAO SUPER WEED

Based.

And true. Type-Moon is good because of the fanbase compared to FGO brainlets.

>anemic depressed highschooler can insta-murder everything he looks at
Is this how FGO players see Tsukihime?

Didn't Jeanne asspull a way to the reverse in Apocrypha?

>KnK had its fair share of chuuni shit
Yeah sop basically, if it has something not realistic, then it's chuuni?

kek

How did he even "die"?

Merlin shanenigans. He's a bit of a voyeur, you know

I thought that was a guy named Stanrobe, totally different

Maybe having Avalon with him for so many years caused some permanent change, with the sheath being able to transport the user to the land of the fairies and stuff. The Dick Wizard himself calls the possibility of Shirou meeting Saber again a miracle.

The Round Table never had a permanent set of members. The thirteen we know were only the last time all the seats had been fulfilled. Gareth, for instance, was the newest addition after the seat had previously been emptied for one reason or another.

while the events in FGO is not canon to this timeline, it is certainly canon to the Nasuverse and servant lore is updated in the Type moon character materiel from the FGO lore especially, The lore revealed on the servants from the past are certainly true.

If it were impossible, Saber, Merlin and Bedivere wouldn't have reached it. There are obviously conditions to reaching Avalon that can be fulfilled.

It literally is, retard. Just because it had a fair amount of depth it doesn't stop being chunni.

Wait for the inevitable FGO tie-in

>retard
why are fgo players always so insecure and on the edge?

I mean I'm enjoying the chuuni stuff over SUPPRESS ROA IN MY ASS

Speaking of sexually deviant AI, do we know what became of Sapphire in the FSN timeline?

Attached: 74800470_p12.png (1697x1691, 844K)

Why does Kinoko Nasu love King Arthur mythos?

Aoko already has Soujuurou and Alice, though

Sapphire is purely a Prisma invention. The Kaleidosticks don't even have the same function as they do in F/ha.

Aoko should have made Shiki her disciple and taught him true magic. He's already BFF with the root anyway.

Attached: 49766184_p0.png (1334x750, 747K)

It's on the docket

He'd been enamored with the Arthurian mythos since middle school.

Soojubro is for Alice only.
Aoko became a kid diddler to try and find someone as pure and innocent as he was.

What were they thinking?

One of the facets of being a grand is having a form of clairvoyance, which she lacks.
I'm in the Saber Galactica camp

Nasu feels kinship with Arthurian writers. They, much like him, have complete disregard for the original histories and legends, and just make whatever up.

That's not what it does. The Kaleidostick's function is to allow you to channel the personality and abilities of your various selves from alternate timelines. So hypothetically, by using the Kaleidostick's power, you can channel a version of yourself with excellent lacrosse skills and become a pro lacrosse player for the duration it's active.

That's only if you're applying for Grand Caster

If he only followed the original myth, then Saber wouldn't even be Saber. She'd be a Shielder.

From what I understand the first three novels were kind of aimless and the real meat of the series doesn't begin until vol 4.

I want to KISS Gray on the LIPS

Why were Case Files threads better than UBW and HF threads?

There were some ties, but they pretty much used the og episodes to fill that gap.

>Tsukihime and KnK have very little chuuniness

Have you played Melty Blood?

Get in line.
Guess who isn't in this anime that is in those.

lmao

Shirou?

Why are Gray's lips so enticing?

That's one reason, but I meant "who" as in multiple characters.

Isn't it a point that KH has it in the form of direct commands from God with the big G about the targets he's supposed to claim?
It'd help if we'd see more than the 2 (3) that we have.

Grand Saber is in LB6

Shouldn't the Seal Thirteen use Merlin's voice rather than Saber's?

We know Daybit "somehow" has Grand Berserker, with signs pointing to the big angry jaguar.
But "hey this thing that you'll see in winter 2020 at best" really doesn't fix the inherent problem.
Also there's nothing saying Grand Saber in LB6.
ARGUABLY, there'd be more pointing to LB5 given the point of divergence lines up with when Sefar fell.

>big angry jaguar
Who?

>Also there's nothing saying Grand Saber in LB6.
user do you really think that there is even the remotest option that Grand Saber will be anyone other than Galahad and/or Arthur?

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_22.37.925.jpg (1280x720, 148K)

Galahad's a Shielder. He doesn't have the qualifications for Saber. He lacks an appropriate sacred sword.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_23.21.950.jpg (1280x720, 95K)

Nah they're going to do what they've done in the past - introduce some new servant, call him a Grand, and then go "These servants could also be Grands." for Artoria and Arthur, among others

Tezcatlipoca. Maybe.

Aztec gods are unusual among gods in that they can only materialize by taking possession of a human host. This means that, in theory, there is no Aztec god that can't be summoned as a Servant. Even despite not being a Grand, Quetzalcoatl is obscenely powerful as a Rider. Tezcatlipoca would be a monster.

>He doesn't have the qualifications for Saber
His alter form does, actually.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_23.29.418.jpg (1280x720, 73K)

Tezatipolca or whatever their name is spelt as.
Quetz's edgelord brother who was the driving course for those quadruplets ending humanity 3 times as a prank.

No, I'm saying that Grand Saber will be a variant of Artoria. They won't be in LB6, though. Because it's powerwanking is going to be introducing Proto Merlin in time for her to be the Ani5 servant.

>He doesn't have the qualifications for Saber.
He's got not one but TWO holy swords
He is the actual APEX of the concept of a "chivalrous knight"
Hunted down the literal real Holy Grail and personally gave it back to God

I fell behind pretty hard and only caught up with the second half a few days ago, it was a fun ride but watching the entire Rail Zeppelin arc in one go (other than today's episode) probably helped a lot.
>Faker
God damn it.

>Tezcatlipoca
Isn't the Lostbelt in South America, so shouldn't the servant be Incan or something?

>You mean how its an established thing that spells grow more powerful by calling their name out?
Fate was already a massive change from Tsukihime, but it's still nowhere near as embarrassing as the "current" Fate.

Attached: jack the ripper.jpg (1280x1800, 402K)

The Saber class has always been one of the pickiest classes. There is no holy sword in his possession that could ever match Excalibur, Arondight or Galatine.

Just did a binge rewatch of case files too. It's the kind of show that really benefits from being watched all at once instead of weekly.

Attached: tumblr_pqvybcpWNJ1qeawdgo1_640.png (640x640, 109K)

Since when? I know it's Pancho

>Putting Galatine and Arondight on the same level as Excalibur
Vortigern disagrees with you

the author of the case file theories argued for skipping vol 1 to 3. he says those are better off as one shot OVAs and rail zepplin arc is where the meat of the plot begins.

Yeah, man. Like how the grands in Babylonia were fucking Merlin and an OC based in the middle east who may or may not be Cain.

B/c unlike w/ those Case Files doesn’t even try to pretend to let you into what’s going on. Ergo why the effortposters shine and people are afraid to talk

>Saber is one of the pickiest classes
Counterpoint: Nero

...

We're talking about the Crypter's servants who have always been related to their Lostbelts.

That's pretty irrelevant. Of course Excalibur is the strongest, but the other two are top class as well. Among all the holy swords we've seen, they're the top 3.

But here's the important thing about Saber, you need at least one of two things: Either an extremely powerful sword or extraordinarily prodigious sword skill. The Grand Saber is probably gonna require either the most powerful sword or the greatest skill. But I doubt Galahad is as skilled as the likes of Sasaki Kojiro or Musashi, and even they don't qualify as Grands. And it's obvious that he doesn't have a sword more powerful than Excalibur either.

Yeah, the connections and hints become much more pronounced on binge viewing, as opposed to giving you a week’s time to forget everything

Is literally not qualified for the class and she cheated into it using Imperial Privilege.

Let you in on a little hint, the Gudaguda CDs weren't just memeing when they said that "If you don't have a swordbeam; you aren't a true Saber."

And yet Okita exists

okita doesnt even consider herself a saber class.

So? She's literally a Saber-class servant.

Okita's a joke character from a joke universe. She bends the rules just by existing. Ordinarily, she wouldn't qualify due to her uneven stats and low ranks in Magic Resistance and Riding. She was shoved into the Saber class purely because she's a Saberface.

What are the most chuuni fights in Fate?

She's the person Nobu was first referring to.
Sabers whose NPs are blade techniques (Okita, Yagyuu, Kojiro, Chevvy) are naturally assassins. They aren't "True" Sabers.
It's why Rama and Gilles don't have blade beams.
Bedi has a beam ARM for this reasons.
Void is literally outside of the Fateverse.
The only ones that aren't hard confirmed on a class they SHOULD be in are Suzuka and Beni-enma. Presumably, both would be casters.

>"lol I can cut a thing three times in literally the exact same instant"

>And it's obvious that he doesn't have a sword more powerful than Excalibur either.
His sword had the exact same fairy-forged "sword in the stone" gimmick that Caliburn did. Just by pulling it out he was instantly dubbed "the greatest knight in the world" because that was the condition to yank it. If that's not a top-tier holy sword then I don't know what is.

just wear armor or use a shield lmao
literally striking three times at once only matters in a sword-to-sword fight

Shirou vs Gilgamesh

Why does the UBW route get so much hate for its writing?

But is that enough to make him Grand? I doubt it.

Don't mind me, I just wanted to post this.

Attached: 15025e0be64fbd2313c2e9e8db03157d.jpg (1133x1600, 813K)

Musashi-chan is a lostbelt servant technically and way stronger than proper Musashi, who doesn't even get kicked out of the universe for murdering the future. And Kojiro isn't a real servant.

It's the closest in line to shounen, and it gets vocal antagonizers for the aspects of such.

No, but the fact that his whole gimmick being "literally the most perfect knight that ever was or ever will be" is indeed enough. Grands are supposed to be the apex of what their class represents. Saber is the "chivalrous knight of the sword." Galahad's legend is him being the best knight EVER.

King Hassan is a wraith just like Kojoro.

>Best knight ever
>Shits on MC for saving the world, despite him explicitly lending his power to save the world.

I really, really want to know why he went full faglord all of the sudden.

That's just your speculation. Look, if there were a Grand Shielder class then sure. But we're talking about Grand Saber. If he doesn't have the greatest sword or the greatest technique, then what's the fucking point?

Where was this said, quote it.

Here's your Galahad Saber.

Attached: GalahadAlter.jpg (1199x814, 109K)

All Hassans are wraiths. King Hassan, like all Hassans, cannot be recorded into the Throne of Heroes due to his lack of a solid identity. He's completely unknown outside the original assassin cult. He cannot be a Heroic Spirit because he lacks the appropriate fame.

There is more to being a Grand than just powerlevel wanking. This is why Grand Assassin was KH instead of some meme servant like Cain. Because he's the best representation of "an Assassin" because he founded the Assassins.

And yet his legend as the leader of the Assassin Cult is well know, even in real life.

He's also literally the greatest assassin.

>Implying he isn't Cain

No, he's a special case. His exact origins are a mystery. Even among the cult, he was just a rumor with zero evidence that he ever existed. His very existence is extremely vague.

Luvia is only fun when she's bullying Rin

Fuck no, he's not even from the AoG. Cain would be way stronger on account of literally inventing the concept of murder. KH is Grand Assassin despite this because he best represents the class as designed by the servant summoning system (ie heroic spirits being the Hashashin)

He's actually Noah, or maybe Utnapishtim or another Great Flood Myth Survivor.

Not as of the latest mats release he's not.

Murder and assassination are two different things. Killing your brother with a rock does not equate to skill or talent for assassination. He's the Original Murderer, not the Original Assassin.

Don't forget that Cain is still supposed to be alive because of his sin.

murderers get onto the Assasssin class all the time (Jack the Ripper), the distinction doesn't matter in Nasuverse
He would have been killed by Goetia like Scat

Semiramis is an assassin way older than KH then, why some chump from only 10 centuries ago gets to be Grand?

Except he's alive by punishment from God, who wouldn't let Goetia incinerate him.

who is the first person to use a sword?
the Yellow Emperor has a named sword, Xuan-Yuan Sword, i think

Because poison is meaningless against Beasts. Grand Servants are formed to fight against Beasts. Semiramis would have been worthless against Tiamat.

>He would have been killed by Goetia like Scat
If that was the case, God's punishment would have killed Goetia sevenfold or whatever.

To be fair, most assasins aren't even actual assasins. (Kojiro, Stheno, Shuten, etc.)

God wouldn't have a choice, the world had ceased to exist

so the loitering jew is still alive?

Probably, if he isn't the very same person.

>who is the first person to use a sword?
Gilgamesh, in terms of first recorded legend of some hero using a sword

We're talking about Grands. What use would Cain be against a Beast?

why the fuck is Shuten an assassin, i never understand. She was assassinated, and her assassins somehow do not qualify for assassin class in some ironic twist.

Her skill for intoxicating others. Also, she doesn't really seem to qualify for other classes.

Conceptual authority over "killing family members." Goodbye, Mama Tiamat

These threads are always pretty good.

Tiamat is immune to death, try again.

For the same reason that Jing Ke is an assassin despite the fact that her claim to fame is "failed to assassinate someone"

>Gilgamesh
>~2800-2500 BC
>Yellow Emperor
>~2697–2597 BC
so close

pretty good for fgo fags yeah

And yet we still killed her dumbass

Berserker? she's an oni, that's like the most likely class

Didn't stop KH, Cain would asspull a way to do it
>here is a way for a hypothetical servant to do this
>"uhh but according to my headcanon for why this servant who isn't kitted out would behave, this is impossible"
k, whatever dude

That's because KH is busted as shit

at least she tried

Through a bunch of loopholes. Which Cain wouldn't have helped against.

If Cain were helpful against Beasts, then the world would have made HIM the Grand Assassin. The world doesn't give a shit about who originated what or who's the most famous. What matters is ability. The world is unbiased, so if Cain's not a Grand then that means he's not good enough.

Ea is a wand though.

No that's because as a grand he was able to "apply the concept of death" onto her saintgraph, which is something he can't do as a normal assasin class

>Can inflict death upon anything with his blade.
>Devotion to God enough to be granted Protection of the Faith
>Wields a black but holy blade
>Is immortal due to some twisted contract with God
>Founds the group from which the word Assassin is derived
It's fitting beyond fuck. Even if it hasn't been explicitly stated.

>Which Cain wouldn't have helped against
Do you have Cain's official stat sheet in front of you, my dude? Are you using Kaleidoscope to peer into a hypothetical universe where you can see what kind of skills and NPs Grand Assassin Cain would have that would make him useless against Tiamat?

>all of the Grands so far worship the Abrahamic God
hey other pagan religions need representation too

His absence is enough. The world didn't see fit to make him Grand Assassin.

Only two of those things have anything to do with Cain.
Grand Berserker S O O N

>The World didn't see fit to make him Grand Assassin
You mean Nasu, because Nasu had KH be Grand Assassin to show that the class that could only summon Old Men of the Mountain (at least originally) would have a Grand servant filled by an Old Man of the Mountain.

Grand Archer Hercules fucking when Nasu?

Ruler Adam when?

Attached: best papa.png (1441x2048, 1.43M)

That was only a qualification of the Fuyuki Grail. Again, the world doesn't have to give a shit about that.

He's already been summoned into the Archer class. He, then, can't be a Grand.
Which is why it CAN'T be "vanilla" Artoria or Arthur.

The class system is based on the Grands, not the other way around.

>mfw it's Sanson or some schizo from the bible

Attached: 1545261331904.png (397x324, 31K)

>That was only a qualification of the Fuyuki Grail
Wrong. It was because assassins by definition couldn't acquire enough fame to become heroic spirits and so only by latching onto the name of some greater organization like the Hashashin could they hope to become more than wraiths.

This is all a stupid fucking argument anyway because it's contingent on you going WELL THE ABSENCE OF PROOF IS THE PROOF OF ABSENCE HA HA like a middle schooler.

The Fuyuki Grail has limitations that the world doesn't because it was created by human hands.

bullshit, that was not stated anywhere

What does Samson have to do with South America?

>He's already been summoned into the Archer class. He, then, can't be a Grand.
What is Merlin
What is King Hassan
