New Hope" In Japanese media the × symbol is often used to signify two things intersecting or "crossing over". See any trailer for Smash Ultimate DLC. It can be a bit more vague in anime. Hunter × Hunter is about the interactions between hunters. Highschool D×D is about devils and dragons. So it's clear that Spy × Family is about Loid having to manage both his spy duties and Ania's dooties.

If you're talking about a localization of a title, those can be whatever you want. It's made confusing when the Japanese title is already English. If we're talking about the Japanese title, I would not pronounce the cross. Otherwise, go wild.
