Also fight or flight is about survival, not fear, it's pure survival. Your emotions don't matter at that point, it's just survival, instinct, you just do things without thinking, you act.

Being calm mind set is applying technique as it comes, because its not that you are thinking about your next move its your body adjusting to your opponents movements instantly.
