Leaving Netflix in 2019
>all anime ever
>Leaving Netflix
That's actually a good thing though.
Who cares about LWA when you will get BNA?
No, no this is great.
Netflix losing ownership means we might actually get physical release of the series
unless you mean only the films
also it means no aweful live action movie for little witch like netflix did to death note and doing to cowboy bebop
Assuming another service gets it, who's it gonna be? Hidive? Crunchy now that their rip off is basically dead? Does Amazon still have licensed anime?
Death Note was literally just a publishing thing. Cowboy Bebop is the fucked up one.
Amazon still has animu, but it doesn't have a dedicated subscription for it anymore.
Netflix said they were going to remove Kill La Kill last september. It's still on the serivice. I wouldn't be too concerned
I thought it was the dub that they removed.
I don't know much about why they make trash live action of their anime, I just know they do, and that's pretty shitty of a distributer.
The dragon ball live action was so insulting to toriyama that he came out of retirement just so that won't be the last note in his tale. Anybody who uses their hold of an IP to defile it is trash in my eyes.
Netflix also has the FMA and Bleach live action movies as "originals" despite us knowing they very much aren't.
>netflix
couldn't imagine a better outcome fuck Shitfux
Netflix claims everything as "Netflix Originals" as long as they have the exclusive streaming rights. Sometimes it's very confusing what was actually made by Netflix and what's not.
Good, that means it can get picked up by outlets that aren't total rubbish
It's just the OVA and movie, not the TV show.
What are examples of shows and films that are actually made by Netflix themselves?
I'm not sure if they are even a studio, considering how they started out by selling pirated dvds or something over mail, but if I had to take a real wild guess I'll say breaking bad, maybe stranger things. The anime stuff they threw money at studios to make stuff for them.
Most popular examples are Stranger Things, House of Cards and Orange is the new Black ... In case for Anime Castlevania would be the closest we got.
I'd consider Cannon Busters closer as an actual netflix original "anime" since that straight up got a japanese dub that at least for me was put on as the default language, i actually dont know what the english voices are like for that one at all
>it's just the good parts of the franchise bro, what's the problem?
I thought HoC and OITNB were made in cooperation with TV channels
With their production houses, yes.
They're not a studio, but they are a production company and have ownership of the things they fund. B: The Beginning, Devilman Crybaby, and all those weird cg ones stand out to me
Didn't they make Devilman Crybaby and that 3D Saint Seiya?
Wasn't Devilman literally done and all Netflix grabbed were the streaming rights?
You could be right and I just got fooled by the fact that it premiered on Netflix
>implying being on netflix is a good thing
I don't see how it's good or bad. It's pretty irrelevant to pirates
>The dragon ball live action was so insulting to toriyama that he came out of retirement
Maybe if Netflix made a shitty LWA liveaction Yoshinari would want to make another season?
>LWA liveaction
I want to bang chariot while Urssula watches
I'd do it the other way around.
magical world, this is all plausible in cannon.
Considering it started as a short film and is now 2 films, a series, a manga , and a game it's already been something yoh's been coming back to regardless. no other show in trigger has that many derivatives, they usually keep to 1 season and that's that
He might make more after BNA but I wouldn't hold my breath
I want to fuck Diana!
your'e in luck.
yoh made hentai of her
I want more!
Thing is, there's no real progress in any of those. If we do get a new season, it'll be to Finally move on with Akko's life and growth
>Enchanted Parade
>good
If anything, Netflix losing parts of the franchise would compel them to order more to replace them.
With BNA on the way nothing is happening for another 3 years at best, anyway.
what, for reals?
Every creator makes porn of their OCs, it's just never public
That would imply those made money
Yoh is autistic and I doubt he even has a sex drive. He didn't draw any porn of LWA.
What Netflix anime do you think "made money"? B the Beginning got a second season greenlit, do you honestly believe that more people watched that than LWA?
It doesn't have to be super explicit. It can just be Diana lounging with her tits out and it still counts.
Pls Yoh, show us those Diana lewds
The less anime Netflix has the better.
Diana ain't shit.
Give me the Ursula lewds instead.
His private pixiv was discovered
One of the pieces on there was akko screwing diana passionately
This, fuck (((neflix)))
That's not him.
who gives a shit
They're just losing the OVAs right? Considering they paid money for exclusive streaming rights on the series I'd imagine they'd want to keep it
Can't wait for the streaming bubble to burst. Literally cannot come fast enough.
Yeah that is
pixiv.net
He even erased akko and the pony stuff from there after it was found
We unironically need physical media back blurays are fine but there needs to be some series on lesser quality on dvd easy to purchase with a few bucks.
Only if it brings back rental places
sorry but that's a pipe dream if i ever saw one
>the pony stuff
I forgot that was a thing, poor Yoh.
Also someone post that shit already what the fuck
>I forgot that was a thing, poor Yoh.
What? The dude liked it.
If rentals come back it'll be OG Netflix by-mail stuff only every other streaming service will try the same thing which cause the same licensing disaster streaming competition caused.
I gotchu pleya
no nips and hidden image. mods onegai iiye ban shimas
As for the ponies and cartoons. If I had to guess, trigger's fascination with those stems from seeing certain potential in them that doesn't exist, they might see some sort of appeal that's only in potential that the creators don't actually have the sight to realize. Maybe I'll never understand their fascination with those, but as long as they keep putting 100% in their own project it doesn't matter what influences them.
Reminder yoh's got a furry anime coming 2020
they didn't show enough akkobutt.
They're getting a VR racing game in 2020 though
Bro it's not that deep. It's either they really liked the show or know the people making it and wanted to support them somehow. Or in Hori's case, both.
It will be shittier than Beat em up game due to the budget only barely reach the main goal
Seeing potential in something that isn't really that good is the case with a good chunk of all the manga ever adapted in the 80s and 90s.
The directors would pretty much change all the art and whatever they wanted to just take the potential of something and build upon it.
Considering how active the imagination of the staff there is it's not unlikely they are seeing something in there that doesn't really exist
This all sounds like projecting from your part. Like, are you forgetting that Trigger is filled with westaboos?
>Or in Hori's case, both.
mfw when I watched SU movie just to see the parts Hori animated
mfw what's worse is that if Hori's motive to leave Trigger was really that he wanted to work on children's shows, that means Trigger isn't planning to do something like LWA anytime soon.
honestly good. they're talents were wasted on doing kids shows.
Ok retard
smart
here, op
i fixed ur image 4 u
Netflix is pretty shit though.
?
He upressed it and removed the author's watermark.
So is that show.
>being a paypig for temporary content
The ovas are on JewTube.
That's fine. It's nice that they spawned a proper series, but despite what you dumbasses claim, nobody actually gives a shit about the OVA's.
jewtube won't open for me
I remember reading that while the Kickstarter project only reached its goal a few days before the end, the Campfire project reached it just a few days after it started. Did it raise much more money after that?
I disagree. If they have to make something family-friendly, they can't just maintain the adults' attention span with tits. It actually needs to have a decent story.
