People need to stop acting like Doga Kobo was all over-the-top action and explosions. Most of the series is them sitting down at a table. Cute interactions shouldn't be reacting to every situation by blushing. It's out of character and gets stale. How can you think it's a good adaptation when Chinatsu is clamorously hugged by Kyouko but all you get is a close up of her looking down? Realistically she would fight her off. But no, they aren't allowed to feel any emotions other than mild embarrassment, because that makes it cute and yuri. Somehow that's thrown around as a positive, which is telling. Some people just don't care.

TYO cut out a lot of the personality. There's barely anything original that isn't just a background character talking. There's less everything. Fans should be angry, not that it changed studios, but went from the hands of veterans who understood the work to Star Wars prequels tier directing, only without the money or talent. Lay-duce and Hakahiro clearly put care into this, and it'll be a shame if more doesn't come from it. There's a lot of material that could be covered. The only way I wish it wasn't like a Milky Holmes situation would be that it doesn't end after 10 years.
