4 Giant Japanese Publishers Sue Illegal Manga Hosting Sites

animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-09-17/4-japanese-publishers-sue-manga-sites-in-the-u.s/.151206

Remember when Mangadex said they wishes to go legit if they could? Boy, will that backfire now. These Japanese companies do not fuck around at all, looks like they've already started to team up and hunt down these manga aggregators.

You could've been the chosen one, Mangadex. You could've just been another of Yea Forums's sekrit club like Sadpanda or Madokami or Nyaa. But you've fucked it up. Greed and abundance of site traffics blinded you. Now you're just like other mundane aggregator sites but minus Jaimini's Box and other scanlators. When will you realize that you will never, ever, ever succeed in becoming legit as the Japanese will never allow you to?

Do free manga reading sites get annihilated out of existence instantly in Japan?

This.

>Yea Forums buzzwords
I can only respond with keep seething.
Cause that's the only thing that you can understand.

It doesn't help that Madokami is dying because the admin doesn't give a shit about it anymore.

So what even are the good websites?

Someone run me down on how Fakku managed to go legit and how others fuck it up.
I'm definitely not holo btw hahaha lol
cope seeth something gonyogonyo

Don't worry a proper batoto replacement is coming soon

>batoto replacement
>666
Fitting.

What's the worst that could happen to the website's owner, provided they stayed anonymous while making it?

please be true

>provided they stay anonymous
Good luck with that.

Loli police storm your house after they find your shitposts on Yea Forums.

it's about 90% done and will be open source ;)

They can't help be attention whores so no surprise.

The person behind Fakku is part of the master race while the people behind MD are bunch of literal autistic ess-jay-double-you idiots.
That's it, really.

>Jewmini's Box STILL this mad about being called out on their kikery
Just let it go and stop making these shit threads you tremendous faggot.

Even torrenting an anime episode can get you prison.
Japan are full-force copyright nazis.

>violating earning profit
nigga 99% of the shit people want to read are either not translated or censored out the ass on the off chance they are. Only shit that gets TL'ed on a regular are shounen shit.

Contact whatever services host it, get it blocked in the US, EU and as many other countries as they can be bothered. If the owner stayed completely anonymous I guess they'd be fine, companies wouldn't really care about suing some NEET with no income.

There is no reason why manga should be available for free on the internet. People work hard to draw that shit, so you should pay for it or not be able to read it at all. Change my mind.

So they look to China and Korea?

Not only can you usually not pay for it, you also can't read it cause its not translated. Paying for it through hobby stores or Amazon doesn't count as the author doesn't get much or any of the sales %. Plus you are typically region blocked to buying it also if amazon doesn't have it.

I can go to the public library to read most of the mainstream stuff.
It's the really niche stuff that's hard to get, especially 2 volumes series that will never get officially translated.

I wouldn't get to read it then, and you wouldn't want that!

Their right to get paid conflicts with my right to share cultural works with others, compromises need to be made.

>"official" translations are two years behind on average
>normalfags think this is reasonable

Attached: 1567449874751.png (772x580, 213K)

Who kissmanga here?

So because you can't get it legally you're morally allowed to steal it? How about, I don't know, not reading it and doing literally anything else?

When they get translated, remember when tokyopop went down?

Who said anything about morality? I don't pay for anime or manga period and I never will. Not going to bother to justify it, but I will continue to consume entertainment for free. No jew can stop me.

>Scanlators
>Needing donations
lol what. Buying manga from Japan, even if you're scanning them in high quality, is like $20 a volume. You don't need donations for that; that's the cost of like 1 lunch.

>steal it
Either way the author's getting my money if there's no way to buy it, so why not read it instead of not read it?

This. They need to stop this shit. Why do they take 2 years longer than total "amateurs"?

Hmm not sure if i can trust you satan

Because what you call piracy is just high efficiency sharing. Under your logic, even physical books shiuld not be lend-able and vidya DRMed

>learning japanese now so can translate my own shit
>possible going to move to japan to work

Scanlators, translators and all the other internet dramafags have dogged my existence for more than a decade but no more! Look at me- I am the translator now.

Attached: (´・ω・`).jpg (850x754, 97K)

Fuck off Jewmini shill.

Start backing up faggots.

But Jamini needs $2000 to pay for their raws user... How are they going to afford it?

K-kono power da.

why are you bringing up morality? I'm saying it doesn't matter the author is never going to get your money to begin. It isn't lost money cause he was never going to get it because the infrastructure to buy manga isn't setup in the west along side that age old argument that pirates weren't gonna pay to being with. Which is both accurate and not.

If there was ONE service that had all the manga ever past, present and future all TL'ed and no censorship and same day release day if not max a week waiting. Yes I would pay for it.

>Winner winner chicken dinner

Oy veey, but my mother who's been dying for 25 years needs monies other wise I can't scanlate.

2000$ still not enough eh?

I'm not mega lover of MD though they are decent. JB is fucking scum.

Piracy changed the history of Europe. The unauthorised production of the Bible was one of the most significant technological revolutions in history, next to the agricultural revolution and the industrial revolution.
Piracy is not a problem for most creators because their fans will buy their work to support them.

If reading it without paying it won't affect the sales to any reasonable degree, which in this case it doesn't, then ethics have nothing to do with the equation. Any other questions?

Stop moralfagging. Big corporations are scumbags.

Why did the admin stop caring?

>aggregator sites die
>translators will rise again
FUCK ZOOMERS!

You have to pay for hosting, hard to do anonymously

In my country (Italy) almost every manga gets translated. I buy them, after reading a couple of chapter online to see if it's interested me. Your point?

Fuck, I read all-rounded Meguru while you're still far behind. It's been 3 years since I've finished it.

Satan don't you dare let me down

The only manga I ever bought was stuff I started reading on illegal websites. I can't really take the risk of ordering a 10€ volume from the other side of the world, wait a week for it and then I might even not enjoy it.

user, are you retarded? Maybe flunking school and becoming a neet wasn't the wisest decision you've made.
"If there was a service that gave me every book in existence, TL'ed on the same day the raw comes out, I'd buy the service for maybe $5 a month."
Dumb ESL.

Why does ANN hate piracy so much, it's gotten to the point that even their forum users keep shitting on the site because of being so blatantly anti-piracy. Meanwhile, if some Jap comes out defending piracy or fanart, even if the person was important, ANN goes silent on the matter. Not even video game websites are this anti-piracy, usually they don't even report on game piracy much these days, unlike ANN which seems to be obsessed with it.

Maybe stop using shit sites like this and download manga like a non retard

Just what point are you trying to make? That manga fan scanlating and translating is bad because that one series has been published in your country and no other country?

I honestly don't get how in Italy we are 2-3 years ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to translating manga (both mainstream and niche). I don't even see any weebs around

Without piracy, we're not going to buy any manga. There's no alternative for us. Official translations take literal years to get released and that's only for the super popular stuff which everyone will be spoiled for before they get to read it. Killing piracy in Japan is a good move, but killing it here is stupid.

John Carmack said that people should pirate DOOM. Cool guy.
There's a lot of old shit that isn't licensed here and we'll never be able to read unless we have scanlations.

Did you intend to provide or an argument or just ad hominem while summarizing what he wrote?

Do not stoop to their level, user, they'll feel welcomed.

I wonder, do you buy every single manga you read? Pay for every anime episode you watch? Never listen to songs on YT? Do you check if porn clips were uploaded legally before jacking off? Do you read EULA to see if you are allowed to borrow/lend a game or a movie? Did you purchase a WinRAR license?

Was that image done by some jbox shill? Those exist?

One of the problems is that in some cases, the Japanese actually don't even want foreigners to buy the stuff in the first place. Like some sites won't even let you buy from them unless you have a Japanese credit card or Japanese address, so even if you did want to buy legit, you couldn't because they won't let you.

This is actually one thing I don't get with the Japanese. I can sort of understand suing for series that already have official translations (even if they're far behind), but in many cases they also want to take down stuff that either got discontinued or was never licensed to begin with. Why do they want to prevent us from reading stuff? They even take stuff down like the Shana or Tokyo Ravens translations, which is sad considering official translations for those series either stopped long ago or never happened to begin with.

Well, they're not spending all of this money on raws, are they.

Man, I was busted by the loli police once, let me tell you, it's headpat hell.

oh ffs

Like I care, piracy will never die, and I will never pay for manga/LNs/Anime

Before someone begin their piracy improve sales preach, the manga sales growth rate did drop when Mangamura was active and it did improve after they got killed.

We do have back ups, right? Just in case.

no, that if someone uses scanlation to try a manga out shouldn't be considered bad, but I wouldn't consider sane just realing on those because translators can fuck you up and dropping the series.
we are a huge comic industry, in general. think about Bonelli or Disney Italy in its entirely. reading comics doesn't have the stigma that it has in America.

I wasn't really making any argument. Just stating that what he wanted was the equivalent of wanting an "every movie in the world" or "every game in the world" subscription, and is pretty much impossible.

>One of the problems is that in some cases, the Japanese actually don't even want foreigners to buy the stuff in the first place
blame rapeplay.

>every game in the world
Steam

Even the video game industry more-or-less knows that piracy can't be completely eliminated and rather than going on all-out war they just try to find ways to get around them. This is the reason why stuff such as Steam and Epic Games Store are so successful. They provide services that, while not perfect (and I'm not shilling them in any way, simply saying what I think about how they got popular), are convenient enough for those who can afford it. Thus, they are able to provide a good alternative to piracy.

When will ANN and Japanese companies learn that piracy is more of a service issue? If stuff was more easily available for a reasonable price without region restrictions, then piracy would be lessened.

there is no manga distribution in the west. I can't just go to the store and pick up manga if I want to. Legitimately the only way to access it is online. If they were cracking down like this from the start, there would be zero popularity for manga in the west. Nobody would know who these characters are, there would be no conventions. Nobody would be buying your figurines and shit either

wtf man, Madokami barely uploads at all anymore, not like they used to. I need to constantly resort to these websites like mangadex to see new chapters. the manga piracy scene needs to get their shit together

I'm really keen to get it out finally.

It's not just porn though, even their regular media is like that. Like how for a long time many Japanese music videos on YouTube were Japan-only, and even to this day many anime YT trailers remain region-locked to Japan, for example.

>When will ANN and Japanese companies learn that piracy is more of a service issue? If stuff was more easily available for a reasonable price without region restrictions, then piracy would be lessened.
case in point: Shonen jump. They're slowly learning it.

Its not stealing tho, people only use that word because they want to make it seem worse than it is.
Pirating is like if you owned an infinite number of beds and I decided to sleep in one of them for a night. Your bed isn't damaged nor stolen, so you could hardly call it immoral.

>Anime and manga companies go against piracy
>ANN shills said news and proudly spreads it

>Local Japanese artist or personality defends piracy or fan art
>ANN doesn't report it and doesn't give a damn

What did ANN mean by this.

They can't sue them all

I don't know why they're so anal about piracy. If it weren't for piracy, literally no one would have heard of about three quarters of manga that's out right now. All we'd have to access is the shit from Shounen Jump, and that would get very boring after awhile. If I were a mangaka, I know I'd want my shit famous rather than not.

>visiting ANN
that was your first mistake

>register domain
Congratulations you are no longer anonymous

Wasn't that >mangadex going legit just shitty rumors? It's mostly scanlator groups being the greedy entitled shits.

You know, even if they do really crack hard on aggregators and translators, there'll always be a way to read them chinese comics.

Even if it's on this vietnamese basket-weaving forum or on the onion.

Attached: whenthere'sawill.gif (220x220, 358K)

Why does ANN keep pumping out these anti-piracy news articles so much? Why does ANN hate piracy this much? Not even Crunchyroll's news section reports on pirates, plus I don't even recall anymore the last time IGN/Gamespot/The Verge/Giantbomb/PC Gamer/etc. made news articles on pirates (apart from maybe the Nintendo ROM thing, and that was a while ago already).

Remember when ANN's legal streaming dreams got destroyed because they were incompetent shitheads, and basically leaked an episode before it was supposed to be released?
That was a good day.

You can basically see it all in the screencap, it's just Holo's wishful thinking.

The comment about patreon was a bit below the belt, but still good bants, so I don't mind.

That doesn't answer my question though. And it doesn't matter because those streams were US-only anyway.

I think the long term solution for this is fairly simple.

Attached: 1446380712761.png (200x240, 69K)

>tfw 90% of jrock videos I want to see blocked in my country
Japan, pls

And this mentality my friends is why K-Pop dominates the world while J-Pop is being left in the dust.

>scanlators ask for donations to offset the costs (time, energy, and their own money) of scanlating
Here's where the defense falls apart: they don't itemize said time, energy, and their own money such that donations get refused after the gap is filled. And why would you expect them to itemize it, if the very act of itemizing costs time, energy, and their own money as well?

Donations to scanlators are ultimately unethical.

Most Doujins are by default unpublished work, where as manga mostly are published work. What Fakku did was own licensing in not-japan, so they can have a monopoly outside of japan without affecting the local value of Doujins. Additionally, Doujin artist never have a big publisher to hunt down people pirating your content.

A little annoying for us since it made mangadex worse.

Attached: 1559313161159.png (600x800, 57K)

>direct linking to ANN
archive.is/NNGCf

I download from a scanlator's website or IRC whenever possible, but some groups do nothing but upload to sites like MDex.

Is this what happens when 8ch gets downed?
Good lord what annoying shits.

Nice. Let me know where I can buy the "every game in the world" subscription. I know Valve has those keys somewhere...

torrentfreak.com/manga-publishers-sue-pirate-site-hoshinoromi-in-new-york-court/

>Faced with the rapid rise of the site, a group of some of Japan’s largest manga publishers is now taking legal action. In a complaint filed at a federal court in New York, Shueisha, Kadowaka, Kodansha, and Shogakukan, accuse the site of blatant copyright infringement.

>“This case is about willful and massive infringement of the Publishers’ manga,” they write. “Hoshinoromi is a pirate website operating at www.hoshinoromi.org, which organizes, promotes, and distributes unauthorized copies of the Publishers’ manga on a massive scale.”

>New York seems an odd choice as publishers are all from Japan and the website is also in Japanese. However, the companies note that Hoshinoromi uses a variety of US-based companies to conduct its business and hide the operators’ identities.

“Cloudflare caches infringing content from both Hoshinoromi.org and the backend server, zakayloader.org (previously, worldjobproject.org). Cloudflare provides a reverse proxy to mask the server locations and operators,” the publishers write.

>Other US-based outfits used by the site are Twitter and Gab, the publishers explain, adding that the site itself is freely available to American visitors as well.

The site the Japanese government is targetting was a RAW-only website, meaning it was hosting untranslated Japanese raw manga and no scanlations and the site was all in Japanese.

I normally just read the translated raws here since anons can be very generous at tl-ing shit. Stalker is a godsend.

Is this bait? Obviously companies hold more influence than literally who artists.

Nice, cloudlfare being politicized some more.
It's almost like it's a bad to have centralized services on the internet.

When will the Nips ever give up on their pirate obsession, even the Koreans have seen the light and don't really care as much anymore. Like instead of being skeptical of newer platforms such as YouTube or Spotify, they embraced them and now it's really easy to find official Korean content online. But with Japan, they are to this day still relatively reluctant to go all out. I mean some Japanese labels still take down unauthorized full videos of songs while not uploading their own official full-length stuff, or if they do they tend to only be available in Japan.

JB are Gook Shills. They mainly translate Gookshit.

Copyright infringement is not theft.
It does not directly harm anyone.
If there is no way to legally obtain something, it doesn't even theoretically harm the creator(s).

Anybody with common sense, even on Yea Forums, should realize CloudFlare is suspicious as fuck. It's rise was way too rapid to be organic and it suddenly monopolized the internet as though the internet can't exist without CloudFlare and the internet before CloudFlare was just a fading memory.

It just came out of nowhere. To be honest, it feels like some kind of protection racket scheme like in those Hollywood gangster movies where the local gangsters force local shopkeepers to pay for protection from gangsters and if they don't, the very same gangsters being spoken off, start damaging the store.

So if you don't have CloudFlare and don't pay them, you can't exist online for some reason.

To be honest, CloudFlare deserves an Anti-Trust Investigation.

MangaPlus feels like they're coming around, if slowly.

so this is where those $2000 a month go to?

Both are jews but you JBnigger shills are the worst. Nobody cares about your drama, fuck off.

>John Carmack said that people should pirate DOOM. Cool guy.

you do understand how shareware games work right

me

There are 1000x bigger affronts to morality happening right this second then NEETS on the internet reading manga 'illegally' that if they tried to read it legally would either take years or forever to be officially translated and then released on the international market.

There is a demand for high quality manga/anime/lightnovel translation which the japanese market is not fulfilling so it's only natural that fans step in and now they are being punished. It's absurd, this policy is hampering the growth of the overseas japanese media market.

Attached: distain for plebs.png (658x658, 218K)

> morally allowed to steal it?
Morals are subjective.

That's why Cool Japan is rubbish.

>scanlating, typesetting, cleaning, translating requires money? who would have thought
Get fucked Jaimini shill, I do all of these and never asked for a dime

Do you? Shareware is explicitly given out for free, downloading something with the owner's permission is the opposite of piracy.

Wait, how many times shit like that already happened to other sites? Am i experiencing deja vu?

Assuming that mangadex's platform succeeded, do they think it would last long term? It will just be another streaming war like Netflix and co. right now and people will resort again to piracy because of that.

Now have fun with finding decent quality raws.

Its kind of like how Valve cut down on piracy in Russia by simply providing official Russian versions of their games at reasonable prices.

The gooks are still the champions at stealing and releasing their properties.

> Koreans have seen the light and don't really care as much anymore
Huh? At least when manhwa or novels are concerned they're much worse than Japanese.

The Japanese government went after this site because it has the same name of the Philippine guy they are trying to get to Japan and this site was never catered to Americans despite being hosted in America.

Just use Wayback Machine: hoshinoromi.org/

This site was only in Japanese and provided raws only/

Also, by the way, the Japanese government is having a hard time extraditing MangaMura's owner because he has 3 citizenship, Israeli and German citizenship besides his Filipino citizenship.

I was referring mainly to stuff such as K-Pop or Korean dramas. In many cases it's the Korean TV channels themselves that either upload full episodes or highlight clips.

I thought he was from Hong Kong, he was just arrested here.

>translate my own shit
>move to japan
Enjoy your prison.

>hoshinoromi
How come I've never seen this site mentioned when asking for raws in TL threads you useless FAGGOTS

So the site is kill now or was always inaccessible with a foreign IP?

I KEEP TELLING YOU NIGGERS TO DECENTRALIZE WHY WON'T ANYONE LISTEN
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Attached: 1556896395571.png (551x491, 261K)

Well if he's pissraeli, they'll never get him.

>implying he's translating for others and not himself
A beginner's mistake.

The reason aggregators exist is because it's convenient.
Can you devise a decentralized way that's convenient?

>learn Japanese
>still have to translate for yourself
Makes sense.

Maybe if they have more legal online services piracy wouldn't be a major thing. As it is it's easier to Google manga new chapter and read it than to access it legally.

Attached: 1567596639002.png (463x255, 170K)

>Triple citizenship
Now I see why most countries refuse to grant dual to anyone: it's too much bullshit for a single person's sake.

People always argued back and forth on this shit for years but all honesty piracy actually helped spread the medium like wildfire and boosted sales. I wouldn't deny that it can poison the industry but people demonized piracy too much over the bigger issue that without it, it wouldn't have bloomed the industry in the first place.

When Americans steal, this happens:

Touhou Project fandom got raped by 2 Americans who just stabbed them in the heart.

Basically, 2 Americans committed the biggest violation of ZUN's Touhou Project Copyright Guidelines in its entire history

Scanlating manga does not require money.

>He doesn't know Yea Forums is basically Yea Forums now and has been for several years

I wonder why there isn't many pay to translate people around, or maybe there is but they keep low profile? Saha used to comm shit back then but i think he went legit

Pretty sure ZUN doesn't give a single fuck.

Yea Forums is still so infinitely shitty that even if another board manages to stoop to their level of shit, they have already moved to whole another previously unimaginable dimension of shittiness.

No proof faggot

what am I looking at

>all rounder meguru has an official Italian translation

>trying this hard

Freaking pizzas, I want my muscled girls too...

always been suspicious of it, but it's difficult to avoid

Learn Italian. It’s easier than moon

fyi, a LOT of niche manga have french/italian official translations, like even literal who shit that makes 1k views on mangadex. iirc that's because the license for these kind of series is dirt cheap and they will still make a profit even if they don't sell that much

I don't want to post all the links on Yea Forums because it would be like advertising the thief but just check out these 2 threads from /jp/ on the topic:

It's not just Amazon but selling the remix to the entire world and this violates ZUN's Touhou Project guidelines where he doesn't want Touhou derivatives to end up on Spotify or Apple Music.

The music being also shitty is insult to injury. Hope they get fucked either by legal action or by fanbase backlash.

why are Japs so assblasted about piracy

just let poor people have free shit

Where did he state he wanted a subscription? He just said a service that offered them. Nice strawman though

it's nothing new

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timbaland_plagiarism_controversy

if you're an independent creator, people will take your shit and tell you to fuck off

I don’t blame them for getting angry. I use spotify to listen to japanese music and I hate whenever some stupid American comes up in my radio that just makes lofi music with audio from nineties anime mixed over it

Yes
In the US it seems like only series with upcoming or currently airing anime are getting licensed, and if you buy anything else expect it to cost $30 or have its translation cancelled within two years.

>lofi music with audio from nineties anime mixed over it

sounds exactly like /wsg/

This is the shittiest music trend and "aesthetic" that happened in recent years.
VHS was shit back in the 90s and is shit now.

posting in le epic JB butthurt shill thread

It is not just obscure Japanese music, this guy literally dared to sample Nintendo Music despite everybody being aware of Nintendo's super aggressive lawyers.

youtube.com/watch?v=SEu7hZEKVzI

Sampled from Map Theme - Yoshi's Island

youtube.com/watch?v=9xZUISErsxg

youtube.com/watch?v=jS5WRMfuib4

Sampled from Super Mario World - Overworld Theme Music

youtube.com/watch?v=VH8mQRXemuo

And this is Nintendo Music, we are talking about it here. You know, even Japanese in Japan rarely make doujins from Nintendo works because they are afraid of Nintendo Laywers.

>NANI???? PIRATES? THAT'S A LOST SALE FOR EACH VIEW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH

Cool, now show me all the thousands of horror and isekai manga.
They are translated right? you get everything right?

>lil boom
>lil barnacle

why black people do this?

>Why does ANN hate piracy so much,
They have to shill for the Japanese companies

OP sounds like is from Jaimini's

>has no plans to ever release manga in english
>takes down english translation to prevent losts sales from people who can't read japanese

It's like a downward slope but somehow other boards manage dig new low grounds before we can reach theirs

The barnacle dude is white, same with the guy who produced the Touhou track. Regarding the simplistic use of samples. It's a genre of hip hop called "meme-rap" referring to the use of ironic lyrics about being degenerate weebs, gamers, or whatever silly theme the song is based off of. Track instrumentals are usually just simple loops of anime, video game, or tv show samples. Been a thing since that Yea Forums rapper made songs about "anime pussy" and waifus.

yes

>JB got so butthurt from being insulted by random comments on a manga site that they're still posting random screenshots on Yea Forums three months later.

I don't know why they would even post that, since they're in the same boat of "hosting manga scans without permission."

>learn japanese
>can literally just read the japanese

They literally just asked, as a response to the DMCA they got. Dealing with an industry without an existing Western outlet and with difficulties securing partnerships due to the nature of their content definitely helped, however.

I can't wait a site full of dick sucking to jewmini and their merry band of homosexuals.

>Why does ANN hate piracy so much

That's what happens when you are a whore on a leash, you can't bite the dick that feeds you.

Fuck off copyright laws are utter trash. The sooner we get rid of them the better.

>I buy them, after reading a couple of chapter online to see if it's interested me. Your point?
Now counts the hundreds if not thousands of manga you've read without paying a cent because you decided they "didn't interest you" after already having read multiple chapters.

There's only one group of people worse than moralfags: People who claim pirating is their godgiven right. If you pirate, be man enough to admit you're doing something that is WRONG, but that you simply don't give a shit either way. If you can't even do that, you should get the electric chair.

Attached: 1554480922099.jpg (394x349, 41K)

Madokami should make uploading public again

Fuck off, jewmini's box. Nobody's going to visit your virus-ridden site.

>complains about moralfags
>"piracy is WRONG"
Hmmm

Piracy is wrong, but unlike the moralfag I am not telling you to stop doing it, dumdum. Let's hope you'll meet your end in the not so distant future, you leftist hippy.

>/pol/tard being retarded
Like clockwork.

>I won't tell you to stop, I'll just wish death upon you
Not only are you a massive moralfag, you also suck at it.

Projecting pretty hard now.

If they keep shilling enough retards are going to fall for their shit and use their site.

>leftist hippy
Sure.

How can I be a moralfag when I am Top 1% in uploaded torrents on 4 of the most prestigious private trackers? I am simply not retarded enough to pretend for my actions to be OK. I am aware that they aren't, but I don't care about it.

Nobody really thought of licensing porn, much less that it would work. Who the fuck pays for porn?

Or I could simply be an individual working in law enforcements.

jewmimi still butthurt

You don't care about it so much you came to Yea Forums to preach?

>linking ANN directly
>being a niggerfaggot over an aggregate reader

pateron beggers in full force today since their readership is down, don't worry your lawsuit is coming since what you're doing is undeniably illegal while the average reader site is a grey area in any country.

How can I donate to doujin artists, by the way?

as soon as mangadex goes legit it will lose it's userbase, there is just no point
and they know it

I don't care doing something that's morally wrong, but I do very much care about cockroaches such as yourself pretending for them to not be.

Never understood why there are sellers who refuse to deal with middleman sites on Yahoo Japan auctions. Why care about the buyer not being in Japan if you’re getting paid regardless?
Lost the chance for some rare vidya because of it.

I'm not a leftist hippy and I never said anything about whether piracy is right or wrong. Don't be so presumptuous.

Forgetting all the times Westerners exploited Asian cultures? Cause they haven't.

Fakku is a Jew backed by Jewish pornographer money

>do very much care about cockroaches such as yourself
And that's exactly what makes you a moralfag.

Not what the term stands for, retard. It's chained to a refusal of participation.

hey, if you gotta pay the yakuza to get manga half a week before it's out in japan, it is costly

It's not just them, every western anime website discourages talking about piracy or illegal downloads/streams.

ANN is more vocal than the others and the others don't necessarily black out competing ideas

>trannycord
Fuck off with this shit.

Almost all anime tracking websties ban you for posting links to pirated material. No clue what you're on about.

>even if you're scanning them in high quality, is like $20 a volume. You don't need donations for that
Speaking as someone who used to do a lot of translating for free, I don't think anyone should be expected to perform free labor. Sure, they can if they want to, but it shouldn't be a prerequisite. Drawing shit arguably doesn't cost anything but an artist's time, so long as they already have all the materials they need to make the work. And yet, most people still understand that they are welcome to charge commissions. Or maybe you think that translating doesn't also take time. And this isn't even bringing in the possibility that they may edit and typeset the manga as well, on top of buying and scanning it.

Are streamers prosecuted in Japan ? Here only torrentards get fucked

Well maybe if jump weren't the only ones providing a good legal alternative we wouldn't need these sites.

This shit still pisses me off. America deserves all the mass shootings they get. Wish they would stay on their containment continent and stop being dickheads everywhere.

Cloudflare openly works for the CIA
surprised more niggers don't know this

Distrbuting fan translation is illegal. It's like if you wanted to make money producing crystal meth. You could try, but don't expect the cops to not arrest you.

>but don't expect the cops to not arrest you.
That wasn't my argument at all. It's neither here nor there.

The problem is you're promoting charging money to do illegal activity. Charging money makes it more likely to get in trouble for what they do.

>comparing a full time job to translating and/or using photshop on a 20 page comic

It also makes it more likely that they can eat.
They're likely already aware of the risk. It's dumb if they aren't.

>comparing a full time job to translating
I'm not sure why you think translating also can't be a full time job.
Or why you think drawing commissions can't be a side gig.

Translating can be a full time job, but fan translating would be hard to justify on a tax return, since how do you report illegal income without getting arrested?

Any huge french/italian manga sites? Or do they just use mangadex/whatever else?

The same way people report income from drug trafficing in the US.

Being a scanlator is not a full time job, kirei cake.

>but fan translating would be hard to justify on a tax return
Not even kind of. Nevermind the fact that you can spin "fan translating" into a ridiculous amount of things that would equate to receiving a gift, all you would really have to do is remove the word "fan".

Depends on how they do it.
No one at Mangadex has ever believed the site has a decent chance of going legit in a way they would accept though. Anyone saying otherwise is (intentionally) spreading misinformation.

When I worked professionally as a translator a lifetime ago, you better believe I was given on the level scanlations to work on as well.
I can say from experience that it's a full time job.

Because a few bad apples constitutes for the entire country suffering. Sounds logical. Perhaps you may want to dilate.

I doubt that official scanlations used for official translations need much cleaning/redrawing.
I guess it depends at what point the page is scanned?

>I doubt that official scanlations used for official translations need much cleaning/redrawing.
You would think wrong.
Admittedly, I could everything, so they made me do everything, but the only things that I didn't have to do with the manga I translated was optimize the page quality. Other translators under me would occasionally work with cleaned pages, but only because they didn't know how to do it themselves, and only after someone had already cleaned them in the first place.

But then again, like I said, this was a lifetime ago. I don't know how things may be different now. Maybe scanlators are sent clean pages straight from the mangaka these days since so many people work digitally now.

You need to read at least 200 series before posting

Elf-san is in France now too lol , but not Komi-san or Watamote for some reason ??

Attached: savage Miho.png (1232x989, 789K)

also forgot to mention , there's a special law on books in France , so each manga Volume is at a fixed price , generally around 6,70 or 6,95 euros.

>You could've been the chosen one, Mangadex
Yes, I'm sure japs would've spare them if they do that.

a mods > v mods

idk for French , personally i use Mangadex and buy the volumes if i like the scans.
the translating scene changed a lot during the past years , fansubs are rekt , they got replaced by official subs like crunchyroll and smaller ones , so the fansubbers thought when they appeared that pretty much every project would be translated in the future so they stopped subbing , they were so wrong , official translators didn't do shit and now some animes are left untranslated (that never happened when fansubs were in charge).

don't let that happen to you , decentralize translations , don't trust those official translators jews.

Attached: Katyusha.jpg (950x843, 770K)

I remember searching the last 4 volume of Daydream, since DarkHorse dropped the series, and my short happines knowing it was officially translated to spanish and itallian. Sad, that the ripper/scans scenes are way more non-existent/chaotic.

>So because you can't get it legally you're morally allowed to steal it?
Actually yeah, considering that its "stealing" without any damage done to the creator.

so how do I export my lists from mangadex?
also a little suspicious they made an import feature without an export.

Copyright infringement is not theft you mentally deficient cretin. They were never going to sell their works here anyway, if anything they should be thankful that people go out of their way to translate it and generate interest in a consumer market far greater than the entire population of their island that is famous for creating tentacle porn.

i can't get some of them in my language and i don't understand Japanese , what am i supposed to do lol ?
do Japanese realize we buy there manga , anime and all the other goodies BECAUSE we read scanlation or watched subs ?
nobody would know manga if it wasn't for fansubbing and fan scanlations , it's how manga was discovered in France (and how small unknown manga still make it over here) , you have no arguments against that.
at least some Japanese authors have the balls to admit their manga was discovered and bought because of fan translations.

The "how to pirate anime conveniently" problem has been solved many years ago, just do literally the same thing for manga for fucks sake.

Wow, I can't believe all the Japanese companies found out about discord logs regarding someone's unrealistic thoughts they had no intention of actually implementing!

except when Nyaa gets rekt like any other agrgregators ?
what do then ?

Just make a new nyaa, it's been done two-in-one times before.

This argument is void of practicality.
Do you think that a play shouldn't be accessible in any form unless you go to certified (TM) theaters?
Do you think theoretical scientific knowledge should only be accessible through super sekrit university archives?
Don't you see that there is no real difference?

Fixed book-price agreements level the playing field a bit between bookstores.

Now just limit publishers hold on books and allow the author to shop publishers after six months if he thinks the original publisher did a bad job.

>Fansubbers were a business.

Well, in that case I guess I'll get started, instead of watching my manga get burned by big daddy Kadokawa

it's fun to see pirates squirm when their roachbox gets stomped though. I support big manga companies for the lulz

The eternal Anglo

>People work hard to draw that shit
It is worth nothing but the amount of labor they put into it. Software, manga, novels, etc. are effectively worthless because propagation is near free.

I dunno, dump scans on zeronet? Everyone who reads it then becomes a seeder.

Reminder that you need to be older than 18 to post here. Years, not months.

>morality
Corporations would take all your money by force if it was legal to do so.

Not every comic got translated. In late 1990s,early 2000s to early 2010s, we got bi-weekly/monthly magazine running weekly Shonen magazine translation. It costs roughly 2-3 meals, worth the price(6-8 manga with 2-3 chapter) . However gov, islamic, and concerned parents neutered it(censorship). Now, the alternatives is buying tankobon with 50% less amount of pages priced at 60-70% of the magazine. Elex media Computindo should suck my dick for that, as the paper quality is shit with thickness close to paper towel.
Not every manga got translated. The publisher predict which manga that will be a HIT to our demographic. When you read scanlated manga online, it might not be licensed and translated. Even if it is, unless it's a hit(naruto, conan, bleach, eyeshit for shounen demographic), you will need to visit multiple stores or call every bookstore 10 miles from your home. It sucks, a lot.
I have read Dr. Kōtō(kontol) since it was published in shonen star. And i was surprised that the active scanlator was trying to reach out indonesian weebs for buying raws. And that's the prove that not every manga got translated to multiple languages, depriving people from enjoying the series.

>HURR APOLOGIZE
I'm so fucking glad this shit died out.

Ya’ll ready to go back to the old days of irc and direct downloading from scanlator websites?

And this is why I'm learning Japanese. I'll just buy it straight from Japan then pay additional 200% of the price or more for shipping to my shithole.

It's funny because most pirates are under 18 and massive normies

dilate

So that's why people with Yea Forums mentalities pretend to hate piracy so much, they think it makes them look mature.

I severely doubt that. What evidence do you have for that?

You mean what I did literally yesterday?

its illegal in england too

yeah that's why pirates always blame the sjw boogeyman on why the companies are cracking down

But user, why would you read anything without mass appeal? Don't tell me you're a deviant or something?

So its suddenly legal if you don't get caught? That seems like an odd loophole.

not just with irl bookstores , fixed prices are also on the internet , a same book will have the same price no matter where you buy it , but the price depends on several factors , like quality of the print , size , etc...
but except with Deluxe Editions (which contains the equivalent of 2 volumes usually and are at a price around 14,95 euros) , most manga are around the same price (6,70 or 6,90 euros).

it's a really nice thing to have and i can keep using my specialized manga store irl to buy them , not only do i pay the same price but i can also ask the tenant to find me some manga in their stocks or even in the general stock in the country (yes , you can do that in France) , she even told me i can ask her for a manga long forgotten and she'll check when she goes in old bookstores if she can find it used as long as it's in a decent state.
so yeah , fixed prices also fixed the relation between client and bookstore employee.
also i can discuss manga and anime with her because she's an otaku as well.

>evidence
This thread. Also this thread doesn't provide evidence on any of these stereotypes and memes on japan, manga companies, etc. I like playing this game too

>scanlator facebooks

>zeronet
Sounds interesting, any reason everyone isn't using it other than because what we have now works "well enough"?

>This is actually one thing I don't get with the Japanese. I can sort of understand suing for series that already have official translations (even if they're far behind), but in many cases they also want to take down stuff that either got discontinued or was never licensed to begin with. Why do they want to prevent us from reading stuff? They even take stuff down like the Shana or Tokyo Ravens translations, which is sad considering official translations for those series either stopped long ago or never happened to begin with.
The answer is easy:
They don't want any filthy gaijin stealing their 2D waifus.
To prevent a mass cuckening of the entire japanese archipelago they've instigated this crusade.

It's a pretty easy way for cheese pizza to show up on your computer without you downloading it. Most people myself included don't want that hassle.

One of Yea Forums bellowed e-celeb made review about some cool indie space game. He add literally serial key in the end of video so everyone can pirate it "officially". Surprisingly the site that sell this game went down because their pay system wasn't ready for 100k+ people purchasing small indie game. Piracy my ass.
Publishers like other corp suits are scam. I remember they even brainwashed Gangsta mangaka to spread shit about how piracy hurts them. And their "digital manga stores" have region locks. In 2020 you still can't read "officially" manga X because for unknown reason manga pictures are region locked. Even if you want to pay you can't. Digital region locks is most ridiculous corp garabage.

We're going to be entering the Silver Age of internet piracy pretty soon with the advent of all these separate movie streaming sites.
Netflix, Disney, WB, Apple, Amazon +++++. Everyone who knows how is just going to say fuck that and go back to piracy if they aren't already doing it.
Such is the way of things.
It's all one big loop.

they weren't but they did a better job than official translators.
we were promised much more anime by them , so fansubbers shutdown bit by bit their own websites and teams but it was a lie.
there's still few fansubs around but not much anymore.

There are multiple ongoing series translated on Yea Forums weekly.

Why are people so upset that you can view mangadex without an account. Mandatory accounts didn't save Batoto from turning to shit.

even downloading the files is punishable afaik

They don't predict they literally scalp whatever series gets the most views on fan translation sites like batoto.

I know. But I'm in Yea Forums so it's not place for such things.

Welp goes to show that I just gloss over the same shit I'm not interested in, day in, day out lol.

>But user, why would you read anything without mass appeal? Don't tell me you're a deviant or something?
if it's manga-that-everyone-read, then just read at the bookstore. Children from both poor and affluent families would open the plastic wrapping and read a book in 5 minutes or so, then it tossed it back for others. We avoid tampering second book from same series so they won't crackdown this practices. It's a good thing that every children virtually knew this.

How is it theft? There is no official publisher in the translated language. They weren't selling their work to those people and you aren't taking it away from or obstructing others from rightfully accessing it.

Copyright has grown completely beyond its intended purpose of allowing creators to live of their own work. The devil will tempt you into and try to make you misunderstand the truth, but if you're clever and strong-willed enough you can use him for your own goals.
at least that's that Index has taught me

But I don't want my mango on shitty paper occupying space in my shelf, that's for figures.

Yeah, nah.

Holy shit. Source?

Can someone explain to me why JB and other shitheads are so upset with mangadex, who respects scan groups and even gives them an option to delay uploads, but they never say a word about other aggregators who outright steal their releases?

Attached: 26280-6303-148.jpg (454x419, 65K)

They don't see the other sites as a threat.

Mangafox is manhwa website now.

They have no chances of strongarming the other sites.

Based. Fuck mangadex

no , it's not.

What the fuck are you on about? Cloudflare became popular within a few years because it was convenient to use as DDoS protection, which was becoming huge around the time the company got founded. There's nothing saying you can't use Cloudflare. People use it because it's has decent service.
So does Google. So does Windows. So does your ISP.

that happens in the US. It's theft. Source: goot caught.

>Whoa scanlating manga, translating, cleaning, typesetting with a small team requires money? Who would've thought.
You forgot to mention the $100/week to pay the Korean mafia for early shitscans, Jewmini.

Good. Manga are dead. LNs are where it's at now. Less children.

What's the best site to read manga then
bato.to, kissmanga, mangafox, mangadex, I don't see the point in dl since the quality is the same, just wasting time and storage

mangadex except for licensed shit then the fox for the rest.

actually Satan just tells you the flat out truth, which most humans are incapable of dealing with

> translating manga requires money
Dear lord how can someone be so retarded.
Also JB is utter trash. Just like every other scan who doesn't want their translations on mangadex.
>Muh views, muh ad money
Get a job, fucking retard. Also getting your translation out of mangadex won't help you, people will just read it on other cancer sites.

I would gladly buy translated manga if paying for it meant I got speedy, accurate translations available digitally in-line with the Japanese release schedule. The fan translation manga scene is garbage, I'd easily pay to get out of that hell.

Unfortunately, the only things available this way are shounen manga, which I am not at all interested in reading.

Yea Forums literally has a mod from /u/ that tries to ruin it you fucking retard

It only happens when you keep being an apologetic cuckold.

Unironically this. At the end of the day, what we're doing is illegal.

Jewmini and the other fags got buttdevasted because someone uploaded pic related: and the MD admins didn't side with them when people started shitting on them on the comments.

same happened when they reviewed the devilman manga

>The Austria chapter is the most problematic: it features a young Adolf Hitler and attempts to explain his extreme anti-Semitism as encounters with a demon masquerading as a Jew. It doesn't seem to mean to be uncomfortable (unfortunate big-nosed iconography aside), but as someone with a personal history with the Holocaust, it was not an easy read.

animenewsnetwork.com/review/devilman/the-classic-collection/gn-1/.132926

>mangafox
>for licensed
Did something change over the recent years? Because every time I visit that site, absolutely nothing is there.

>for licensed shit*

OP spreading misleading lies as usual. Get a life kiddo.

OP sounds pretty upset. That's some pretty heavy rage you got going on.

Who hurt you, dear?

>"why ANN hates piracy"
>"because their extremely leftist"
This is your brain on Ameritard

it changed official adress to fanfox and yeah , i find the licensed shit there as well.
also the ads are non-intrusive now , you can shut them down once (not even a pop-up and it's at the side) and you can read the rest without ads popping.

...

agree. now give everyone a way to purchase it.

don't know how much you pay for manga when you're dumbster diving with your one-leged father but here a manga costs me about 10€ and im not willing to drop that amount of money for a couple of chapters if im not certain a series is good
i read through 10 or 20 chapters and than decide if it's worth the money
but i would like to add that some manga just don't get translated even if we're having a lot in germany already, niche is always a shittie thing

Why don't more people upload their translated doujin/eromanga to mangadex?
mangadex.org/title/27273/onnanoko-party

look into the horseshoe theory

Because, unlike you, they know how to get past the panda.

>mangadex.org/chapter/337322/1
this is some advanced autism

Piracy is clearly unethical, and zoomer retards believe ethical behavior is inherently left-wing.

Delete this

>implying
exhentai.org/g/1121413/e8998c6135/
It was just a question, seems mangadex is fine with loli. One of the admins even uploads a ton of it.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Sometimes when satan posts it's obviously true or false, sometimes it's the opposite and sometimes you can't tell at all. He's just a mysterious kinda guy I guess. I can't handle guys like that

Attached: 1556352549902.jpg (640x480, 38K)

Early 2010s was the best, r.i.p /rs/, megaupload, rapidshit and mangaupdates actually hosting files

>horsehoe theory
>"hurrr that means all extremists are the same"
Let me educate you Ameritard. Cracking on piracy is something right-wingers would do. Extreme leftists would advocate for abolishing all copyright and property laws and making everything free for public consumption which makes them extremely pro-pirate.

IP is more like Israel. Everyone who isn't a neocon hates it. Property-drunk rightists are drunk on PROPERTY, not something that's not property that the government calls property to enable monopolies that inhibit their precious MARKETS. The idea of copying being theft is so absurd that you wonder how it was passed into law until you realize and that most Western "nations" are plutocratic.

You're stuck in the 00s. Modern leftists are well-known for being complete company bootlickers. The left cares more about identity politics than socialism nowadays.

It's because you live in America and you equate "Left" with Democrats, but in actuality Democrats are center-left at their most extreme.

As a wise and very obese man once said, piracy is a service problem.

But I do.

Why do pirates keeping lying about this though? People pirate because the price can't be beaten and they won't get caught. Certainly pirates here do, anyway

netflix and steam showed that it is mostly a service problem. what is wrong with that statement?

>It's not a service problem lol pirates just offer a better service
Nigga

>Why do pirates keeping lying about this though?

It isn't a lie, price is not only monetary, but also includes time, effort and a plethora of other things, if you give a services that's cheaper than piracy then people will give you money for it, like Steam, I'm sure that user was speaking about Gabe.

Kowtowing to businesses is a right-wing thing. Possibly these parties changed to right-wing? Or all of the politics in your country shifted to the right for some reason?

Of course someone who doens't have to pay the costs of producing something can offer a better price, what is your point supposed to be? It's never going to possible to run a business without charging for your products

I buy games digitally because the being able to click "Purchase", wait for it to download, and then hit "Play" is much easier than all the steps involved with game piracy. On the other hand, grabbing scans from an IRC bot is much easier for me than dealing with any of the official manga website or apps I've tried.

I legitimately wouldn't even know where to start with legally getting manga. Plus there's a good possibility half of the stuff I could buy ends with me in prison.

What do you have to say about companies that in the age of the Internet don't distribute their products everywhere on the world?

Hmm, it's almost like when people go too big and try to profit from the backs of others, they get fucked by the big boys...
Really makes you think.

>mfw this could be a resurgence of the golden age of scanlation, back when it was literally the sekret club we've always wanted

Jap companies don't after sites that upload TL'd mango, do they? Only licensors do. And they are well within their rights to do so. More income for licensed manga -> higher price for licenses -> more income to fund new mangos. My question is, why do people deny this obvious truth instead of just admitting they pirate because they can? When did Yea Forums become infested with moralfags?

gitlab.com/hitoribocchi/JSONDex
But you have to run it on every page of your follows

Yea Forums's autistic hatred of CR proves that it's not

Except those big boys fucked themselves more than they expected, and some even crawled back to mangadex.
Well it may be because all the claims were bullshit, but who knows.

But they had nothing to lose trying, mangadex is so cucked that they'll welcome them back in unconditionally, instead of putting their foot down setting some ground rules.

I've been looking for an alternative to ANN for quite some times now, but haven't really found anything.

So tell me user, where do you get your animu news as an ESL?

Attached: AnimeNewsNetworkLogo_0.png (400x300, 12K)

>Mangadex says some meme shit like "Yeah, if we had infinite money to buy all the rights to every manga we have on site and have enough money to pay scanlators for their hard work, we'd go legit.
>A bunch of patreon fucks get butthurt and leave because they think their shekels are at risk.

Lmao.

CR wouldn't be so bad if you could download high-bitrate episodes. But you can't. You can torrent them though. Service problem. Although the bigger problem is exclusive liscenses which is just the autism of IP monopolies compounded onto itself. Even public boxes like Nyaa have several times better coverage of all the different shows that exist. Service problem. Now quit being so worried about how the economic health of parasitic middlemen will affect the homefront of production you bootlicking cuck.

Did Madokami really go to shit? It's sad as it's been the best place to snag official releases which Mangadex wouldn't host.

And by ESL I mean EOP.

Attached: Bored Yukko.jpg (500x540, 103K)

some few people still try to keep it alive with new stuff

but they don't accept any applications, so it just slowly dies as uploaders drop off

If "middlemen" were really parasitic creators would operate without them, but they don't, proving they aren't. There isn't even the barest foundation for such a belief, just selfishness. Which is fine; I pirate because I can. I just don't try to justify something unjustifiable

kind of, scapers are outdated and no one really uploads things for certain series or the chapters are missing/out of order.

Why don't they let someone who cares take over?

If "pirates" were really parasitic creators would operate without them, but they don't, proving they aren't. There isn't even the barest foundation for such a belief, just selfishness. Which is fine; I make it illegal to translate stuff because I can. I just don't try to justify something unjustifiable

Pirates take without permission (like actual parasites) while middlemen do not. It's not similar at all

moralfaggotry vs practicability. its not rocket science. both can be right

Some concrete examples of the value middlemen provide, obvious to anyone capable of thought:

1. Provide financing. Even a cheap one-cour late night anime costs millions to make.
2. Assume risk. Even though overall anime is profitable, most shows lose money. This would bankrupt individual creators but for a company that invests in hundreds of ventures can be balanced out by the hits
3. Promotes the work. You can't have a hit without advertising no matter how good your work is and big companies provide it. Remember also that only hits make money so this is an important concern you can't pretend isn't relevant by crying about muh normalfags or whatever cope you might like
4. Raise the overall level and quality of output. A relatively perceptive person might try to argue creators could still avoid financial ruin by focusing on reducing production cost even further and not expecting income. That's true in a sense, but that would be bad not just for artists who would face less money to go around but for the audience too, no? Yea Forums wouldn't like a world where only small indie stuff exists and doesn't pay attention to what does come out now using that model.

Is the conclusion that you shoudln't pirate? Not necessarily. But you should recognize that you're a parasite, and that other parasites are your competition. Too much parasitism and you kill the host; if the host kills other parasites but you survive that's to your benefit. Welcome crackdowns as long as they don't manage to stop you from stealing whatever you want, which if you're not retarded they shouldn't

>whoa, scanlating with a small team requires money
Why can't they do it like 4chin jannies?

The anime studio isn't the middleman you fucking black hole brain he's talking about the streaming platforms. Way to waste your breath.

Studios don't have the resources to make a production by themselves either, niwaka. The big companies like Bandai, Kadokawa, Pony Canyon, Sony and for manga Shueisha, Hobunsha, etc. are the ones performing "middleman" roles. Licensing is a small part of what they do though not fundamentally different

business isnt ideological.
even though the going legit thing was FUD, I still wont trust mangadex, mainly cause they are run by the same jerks that played dirty tricks on .pantsu and tried to shut it down.
granted, pantsu sucked and was run by incompetent retards, but trying to enforce centralization by intentionally crippling scrapers makes them the true villains.

Conveniencefags and moralfags both win. This nip shill thread can die now.

More hypocritical moralfaggotry. No one has ever provided any evidence the manufacturer's share is lower than a streaming services, common sense would suggest it's much higher, and a huge portion of what you spend on merchandise goes to shipping. Even a Crunchyroll subscription would do more to support the industry than a similar amount spent on merch, though buying a Jap BD would be far better

Have ever talked with one of their admins/mods? they're bunch of total massive faggots. Of course you'd hate them.

This. Piracy is basically free advertising.
Even 3rd world hell holes have buyfags, jap companies wouldn't have a global presence if it wasn't for piracy.

Imagine, the gaijin pirates your manga, one that they don't even have a legit way to purchase in their language so you didn't even lost a potential sale, but in exchange they buy figs, pillows and shit. All profit, zero investment.

They have to be retarded to not realize this.

Attached: 1546556316961.jpg (542x540, 62K)

kissmanga will give you digital AIDS, and if you can access the site with a mainstream browser then you're not using enough interweb precautions. If you were, they'd lock you out.

You can actually get around that. I block ads at the DNS level and this works:
>turn off DNS based ad blocker
>load up a manga on kissmanga
>ads will show up/popup
>turn on DNS adblocker again
>refresh page
Bam, ads are gone and their system no longer will detect you blocking them until you clear cookies. All their anti-adblock shit is cookie based.

>Piracy is clearly unethical
In your opinion. Also learn the difference between ethics and morals.

mangakakalot desu
xdcc if you know the spots

It's wrong to enjoy the fruits of others' labor against their will and without compensating them. Foundational ethical principle.

I just want to say that I'm very happy that the Polish manga publishing industry is slowly becoming really nice
We got pic rel before the official English release even started and finally we have some classic shit like Yotsuba or Punpun
Sadly, like 60% of all manga released here is still just BL but it's slowly changing for the better

Attached: Capture.png (494x706, 874K)

Holo must have hired redditors for mangadex staff because being a Yea Forums anime fansub group several years ago and before mangadex was even a thing, Holo and his old staff should have thicker skin

Huh. I've been trialling Brave and it was working until recently when it can't serve the discus comments, not that I want to read all that drivel. That sounds like a better solution.

>hired redditors
Can't be, there's loli porn all over mangadex

I'm not a business, organization, or profession. Neither are you. Ergo, ethics don't come into it.

what are you talking about

>letting them load their infested ads even once
>better solution
Just stop using the shitty site, jesus.

Ethics are an external code of cinduct or policy. Morals are personal beliefs.

>hired redditors
That's obvious.
This one literal tranny who scanlated this mangadex.org/title/39536/a-manga-about-a-hero-who-pulled-out-the-holy-sword-and-became-a-girl and the entirety of the forum moderators are definitely from that website. You know that obnoxious trigger happy one.

What is it with this plague of noxious trannies, anyway.

I find amusing how industry is asshurt with piracy but barely do any effort in keep stuff with easy availability or in case of translation shit can take weeks or months before it gets officially translated.

Meanwhile despite fanslation not being the best thing ever, chapters tend to pop a few days after or just immediately after it drops.

Attached: 1553525353131.png (192x192, 42K)

No they aren't

The website they're suing is a Japanese one dedicated to Japanese audience tho. They know their copyright situation in the west is different amd they have different approach to try to change it.

It's used by people, other people will kindly inform you, you don't want to be associated with – kind of like the very site you are already posting on.

>They have to be retarded to not realize this.
Japanese are too prideful. They believe that since a gaijin is able to view it for free, it mocks the Japanese audience that has to pay, and they HATE that.

I don't get either, isn't even some 16-19 years old twinks, but grown ass man with 25+.

Seriously. The next volume of spec-ops Asuka is due out in December, I think it starts with chapter 27. The next chapter I'll be reading is 48 and it often drops the same fucking day it releases. Oh, and it's not full of stupid errors either.

Attached: hmm.png (1438x719, 836K)

user, doing his best impression of an official translator.

Other way round, pantsu tried to bring down anidex.

Holo never bothered to fire back in any way exc. snide comments.

I am a poorfag from poorfag land
I have bought couple of Naruto volumens with what little money I had
but only becouse I was able to read free manga online and got hooked - without it I would probably just use it on alcohol and hookers

>Ethics or moral philosophy is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.[1] The field of ethics, along with aesthetics, concerns matters of value, and thus comprises the branch of philosophy called axiology.[2]

>Ethics seeks to resolve questions of human morality by defining concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime. As a field of intellectual inquiry, moral philosophy also is related to the fields of moral psychology, descriptive ethics, and value theory.

Sounds like you've been modded by him, poor baby.

Yeah, for saying fag.

Wow it's almost as if an alternative hobby filled with social outcasts attracts people like this? Who would have thought, I'm starting to suspect you people are normalfags of the highest order if this is all somehow news to you.

You're just jealous that his ass looks better than yours, fatass. Don't lie, you're spanking it to every pic you can find on there.

>manga streaming might die
who cares? nyaa exist and some people already post the manga i like here so i get to read it with the boys. only people that might suffer are the europoors and south ameriniggers

Sad, imagine actually seething because you made something that poorfags in Tajikistani or whatever is getting entertainment from your content and spreading it among his peers.

It was JB being the jew scum they are. Thankfully they're about to get a surprise.

It's hard as fuck to find any manga at all here, let alone the most recent volumes.

Sounds like you JB trannies are still salty, LMAO.
