That’s fair. I guess I just kind of knew what I was getting into with Darling so I was underwhelmed in the way of hating it. It didn’t bother me that much. The last two push it some but seeing the squad have a happy life kinda overshadowed that to me

I’ve not read through the entire manga, but I think the page says something like “They can feel everything about you” or something like that so I assume it’s when they’re talking about experiencing their merge. The manga takes a lot more liberties when showing nudity, and in the show they moan and such when connecting, so I assume it’s a more visual way of showing it

It's still going and biweekly. Most people thought it was gonna get axed after the anime ended but a whole year and a half later it's still going and selling well in Nipland. It diverged into a new storyline so nobody knows how long it's going to be.

I can’t say I agree. You can like something while admitting its poor quality. Suicide Squad is an absolute abhorrent wreck of a film, but some people still like it while acknowledging it’s horrible.

A good ending means it ties in most, if not all loose end.
Be it a happy ending, a sad ending, bittersweet or grim ending.

People can like things and acknowledge it's poor qualities.
Maybe they might even like it because of it's poor qualities.

It was never following the anime one to one besides maybe the first few chapters, there's always been differences.

I don't know why people can't grasp the concept of liking something bad while knowing that it is indeed, objectively terrible. You can even like terrible things while understanding they're terrible unironically.

No, it's only at episode 11-12 going by the anime timeline. So unless it gets axed, which isn't likely, it'll last another year at least accounting for maybe another hiatus or two.
