Reborn is shit, but it has some decent moments and some nice panels. Wanted a thread going to see what were user's favorite arcs, panels or fights in the series.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
You're gonna get the same answers
"It was good up to Varia arc" and "Future arc started decently and went downhill". Nobody read past that
My Hero Academia for millennials.
Yeah I know, but still wanted to discuss some the few positive things moments. Also there's other fools, like me, that read to the end.
I like the art, but thats about it. The manga just became very weak and the ending really ruined what was an underwhelming second half
The art was pretty good, also I forgot, but what happened to them.
Listen to the stereo.
I have no idea, I remember nothing after the future arc
Kino OP, shame the fights weren’t nearly as good as the OP due to the rules.
Funny Sunny Day
Hibari and Tsuna are shit
You're right about that, thought Gokudera and Yamamoto had some good fights in the series.
How does he make you feel?
>20 min episode
>6 min of recap
>4 minutes of ending/skits
Uni is absolutely cute. Although super unexpected that Aria or Arie had to die and now she’s permanently in the present despite being from the future.
>Only uses this form once in the series.
Why?
What was his goal again?
He was just set up for the future arc to play out. Although if I recall correctly, they tried bazookaing someone and they just vanished.
Fuck yeah best song
did they ever reveal what the last earth flame was?
To take over the world, which all other Parallel Universe Byakurans has already achieved although in different ways. The Vongola family decided to do some weird plan since for some reason they foresaw the 10-year older version not being strong enough. Which they weren’t once we got to the end of the arc and their younger selves are already much stronger although inexperienced.
Roll was the best animal-type box weapon and Cloud attribute is best attribute.
>jobs and becomes forgotten
Nope
If art was the only thing you liked about it, then why were you dumb enough to follow the series up to its ending
>overpower the box so it turns into an arena in which you have to fight without any help
>Hibari goes full on no box weapons and rings
>doesn’t even lose because he gets transported
Kino
Amano's growth as an artist was huge and was indeed the manga's saving grace by the end. Shame her one-shot about the dream buster didn't get picked up.
They did not, nor did they reveal the remaining Hell Rings
Why the fuck couldn't the mangaka just have him pick a Kyoko or Haru?
Worst lost of them all
Because Tsuna didn't grow as a character and stayed his same beta self to the end.
He did pick Kyoko. Haru is for Ryohei.
Yeah Yamamoto was pulling out all these new techniques and he loses by running into an invisible wall.
Cause Chrome was the better choice.
Hi, I'm here to be based for two arcs and then never do anything again
I forgot all about Dr Shamal. What did he even do again?
>based for two arcs and then never do anything again
That's the life of most Womanizers in manga.
>uses the gravity flame to hold his shattered to a million pieces bones together
Tsuna was seriously metal.
>Last chapters are the same as chapter 1, the main character didn't progress, but he got more friends!
I honestly feel bad for anybody who followed this all the way through
I bought an artbook for the series because I really liked the covers and illustrations. Sold the manga because the English translation was canned and I honestly barely remember anything from it.
>he doesn’t remember Deathperception
I think I do but I dropped the series when it got into the pokeboxes. Also best boy was Ryohei.
The mc didn't develop and I feel that the biggest problem was the rinse and repeat of the arcs since the future arc.
>MC jobs at the start, gets rings becomes strong at the end
The art was great and I did get hyped at moments but the final arc was just a dissapointment, especially the part where the rings never mattered and the true power was in the MC all along.
Hyper Dying Will Mode will do that to you.
Hibari was best boy
Never noticed how cute Chrome looks there.
Look at how good all of them look. Why didn't more girls support this manga?
They did and they still do, reborn merchandise in jump Fiesta are always sold out. This was last December
>Reborn still gets repped
Man this is super cool.
Why does reborn have more banners there then the other series.
Because fujos love the main cast
Pretty sure they become a pair at the end and actually get a panel. Crazy how much stronger Colonello was over Lal Mirch though. Lal Mirch had no idea what she was getting into.
Some sacrifices are needed to protect the smiles of others and Uni's smile is worth sacrifices.
I hope someone can storytime this in the future like that user is doing for Negima right now. I want to relive the mid 2000's again.
Also, I just want the last 2 arcs animated but since Artland is kill it looks like it's never happening. Oddly enough though Reborn has a successful stage play going.
Yeah, but this was the coolest lambo and he doesn't even win that fight.
I liked gokudera
>doesn't even win that fight
Except he did and then got ported back, so they lost by technicality. Levi had nothing on 25yo Lambo. Guy didn't even use Dying Will Flames.
Varia's arc is one of my all time favorite shonen arcs.
What is Amano up these days?
Cervelo was also forgotten half way through the future arc.
I liked the OST, the powers, and a lot of the fights straight up until the end, but the majority of characters having virtually no character development + the writing getting super messy from about midway into the Future Arc put a damper on things.
I also liked how X-Burner actually had to account for backlash and needed some setup time to 'balance'.
Well I wanted to see him actually win, he was about too.
Probably helping out with Psycho Pass S3.
Chrome was cute, too bad she was absolutely useless for the majority of the series and never got development beyond muh Mukuro.
Look I like reborn as much as the next guy but it'd be just a waste to story time a manga barley anyone on Yea Forums likes. Then there's the issue with which scans the OP would use as we all know just how shitty scan groups can be when it comes to weekly shounen manga, especially from the 2000's and on back. So the only option would be to use the official scans.
Psycho pass 3 designs
KHR had really retarded levels of powercreep.
>get back from the future after beating the guy who managed to take over EVERY OTHER TIMELINE, bring back advanced tech weapons only you should have
>immediately get btfo'd by a literal who family whose strength has increased literal magnitudes higher than you
>get an asspull powerup to beat THEM, only for everyone else to somehow become just as strong for the battle royale arc, despite the fact that these are the guys from present times and not from the future, even though the main cast had already become stronger than the latter
>MC's father is stronger than Tsuna despite almost dying to Gola Mosca way earlier
>everyone in the cast then simultaneously gets btfo'd by the noodle guy because alien genetics are apparently just that strong
Best Training had Ryouhei during Varia arc.
>dude had some intense Rock Lee training shit going on all the time.
>Colonello was just: "how about take a rest and let the muscles regenerate?"
Honestly Colonello was a much better teacher than Reborn.
This is why master PaoPao is better than Reborn that guy knows his shit
And yet who was the one that turned an absolute useless Tsuna into the head of Vongola at its strongest ever? Yeah.
Worked on this horrible piece of shit for a bit.
LMAO I forgot about this guy
>a bit
>literally years and no one even really knew it
Wtf is that?
elDlive
It's implied Byakuran cheated to defeat all of them in the other timelines and that this timeline got messed up anyways since they came back and caused a timequake.
>elDlive
There was an anime for this shit? Also the manga ended just last year. Never heard about it till now, this is Magi and Orient for me all over again.
ēlDLIVE, it had an anime adaption over a year ago. It was basically Amano saying, "You thought Reborn was bad? Hold my saki". It was that bad.
Yeah, but when End-of-Future Arc Tsuna was completely kicking Byakuran's ass, then immediately gets his ass kicked by Enma who was supposedly 7 times stronger, there's a bit of an inconsistency.
Whats it even about?
Fork guy was probably the laughing stock.
I thought this shit was Digimon.
>Du dun dun fuck MHA
If you hate it post in MHA thread
Well, they did have the Simon rings and were unlocked by Sin. That's pretty worthy of being 7 times stronger. Also Tsuna got wrecked in because he's never fought someone who uses gravity. In all fairness they all had very strange abilities that after having just fought people who only used 7 flames and weapons/abilities that revolved around them. This was very new and their inexperience failed them.
>Chuuta Kokonose is an orphan who lives with his aunt. For as long as he can remember, he's had a voice in his head, but other than that he's a normal boy—right until the day when a strange-looking thing follows him home and teleports him to a place filled with more fantastic creatures. It's a space police station, and Rein Brickke, the Chief of Solar System Department, tells him that he's been chosen by the computer as a possible candidate to join the police force. Misuzu Sonokata, a girl from Chuuta's school with an angelic face and ill temper who turns out to be one of Rein Brickke's subordinates, doesn't think him suitable for such a job. Chuuta, who was shocked at first, decides to take the aptitude test after being urged by the voice in his head and to prove Misuzu wrong.
Only saw the anime but dropped it because of how uninteresting it was. It was just boring and forgettable, reborn was at least somewhat watchable. The girls were cute at least
Oh hey Laxus
>I also liked how X-Burner actually had to account for backlash and needed some setup time to 'balance'.
X-Burner is pretty cool. Sometimes I miss the days where battle shounen had MC's training a special technique and unleashing it against an antagonist near the end of the arc.
X-Burner is pretty intense of a move for Tsuna. It's basically evaporating whoever it hits. Killing? Nah. Giant laser of flames though?
>that episode where Hibari one-shotted his Varia opponent
Seriously why don't they just use this guy in the earlier matches.
How long could the Vongola family last ageist Diavolo's gang?
Because he had to face the Varia member with the same type of attribute/ other half of the ring.
>wearing suits and fighting
Is there a better aesthetic? It was even better in the future arc where they all were color tailored.
By Diavolo's gang you mean all of Passione including Bucciarati crew or what?
I'd say all but Bucciarati crew.
This whole manga was all about styling. Even fucking zombies can look good.
Nope, suits are peak aesthetic.
I unironically thought she was working on Moriarty my eyes betrayed me what the fuck well I enjoyed Psycho Pass both seasons the more the better for me I guess
> I forgot, but what happened to them.
They ended up together but colenelo was still stuck in baby form
The Varia arc is one of the best arcs in shounen, easy.
>tfw Reborn, D.Gray-man and Gintama made up the junior big 3 beneath OP, Bleach, and Naruto when they were running together
>Death note was also running for a small time in that period.
Was this WSJ's best era.
Best one? No. The last good one? Yes.
Why does tsuna look like he's dressed as girl?
I liked the AssClass/Saiki/Shokugeki era. They may not have been as huge but they were some of my absolute favorites at the time.
>I hope someone can storytime this in the future like that user is doing for Negima right now.
>vol 1 start 39 days ago
>it's on vol 34 now
Well fuck I have no idea how I've never seen these threads but it's time to start some reading.
Wasn't it because the 10-year versions didn't have the Vongola Rings anymore?
based fujos for once
Cause his mom wasn't there to pick out his clothes.
Are there any more italian style manga like vento aureo, lupin and this shit?
I wish
Choice was best arc.
Future arc was dogshit, Simon arc wasn't that bad. I would even say Vindice arc wasn't terrible, except for the ayy lmao final boss and mystery mas man reveal that lead to nowhere.
That was pretty good, was surprised they lost. But then they ruin it with the whole favor thing.
The ending ruined it for me. What the fuck was Amano thinking keeping the MC the same beta faggot he was during chapter 1?
It was like he learned nothing during the entire series.
>Simon arc wasn't that bad
I kind of liked the Simon family arc, it wasn't the Varia levels good but it still a lot better than the future arc. I thought it was kind of heartwarming that Tsuna found someone he can related to that was worse than he was and became friends.
Hibari vs Ice girl, I think, was good.
Fuck everyone i liked those Simon Family guys but i might be biased since i like redheads desu.
Reborn is a shit tutor.
Like everyone else Future Arc is the best. Seriously the beginning of the arc was really depressing and such a unique way to kickstart a new arc. Honestly if the mangaka had kept the quality throughout then Future Arc would have up there in one of the best shonen arcs.
Other than I love the art, and I love all the OP and EDs.
Sistema C.A.I. is still one of my favorite powerups in battle manga, if only Gokudera didn't keep jobbing.
>literally seething
>beaten and frozen by magic crystals
>unfrozen
>literally seething
The biggest problem was how one dimensional a lot of characters were. Even if they achieved something they reverted back.
ex. Gokudera, le 10th fanboy, Yamamoto being goofy, Hibari always just wanting to beat people to death, Chrome going from skilled to M-M-Mukuro sama save me
Best type of character
Hot damn the reborn girls were cute as fuck. Such a waste.
best girl
It definitely was the best
Baccano! probably.
Would be cool, but KHR is kind of a slow grind in the beginning for like two volumes.
It's a slow grind all the time.
The Future Arc was intense the whole time. When you get there, pages just keep flipping.
