And since the reveal during the joint training arc we haven't even seen him get into other fights since between now and then was the arc focusing on the villains. We have no idea how the activation and usage of the other quirks will actually be handled yet.

Deku inheriting his predecessors quirks makes sense since OfA is a stockpiling quirk and there were even people calling it years ago, I think what people negatively react to is how absurdly it jumps the power levels for the series. I like it. I like very low tension in my stories and I do not like the hero getting hurt. I don't like underdog stories either, so to get to watch someone get bestowed 7 extra powers really helps me enjoy this manga calmly. I have a heartrate problem so if I get too excited, it can legitimately cause issues. I need series that stay at a low excitement level or I could literally die, and 7 quirks guarantees that.

This is a capeshit series about heroes defeating villains, and now we have a hero that can instantly win any fight thanks to all the hidden powers he has in stock, does this look like good writing for you? Are you really going to get excited for the next Deku big fight when you know he can instantly win the battle at any time he wants?
To be fair, while I hate the hidden quirks shit, I can tolerate it, despite the fact that I absolutely dislike genetic/hidden powers shit, because they ruin every story they are used in, but I can understand why it would be necessary for Deku, I just dont understand why reveal it now, when there is no major villain that needs it, it would be different if All for one had broken out of jail and was now out there stealing quirks and killing people.

I think the real reason I dislike "hidden" powers bullshit, its because every time its used, it feels like the author is saying "I either wrote myself into a corner, or I cant think of another way to make this character fights interesting, so I am going to just cheat and add a new power."
It feels like this is what the author is doing to Deku, much like what Kubo did to ichigo, "I cant make Deku fights interesting anymore on their own, so I am just going to dump new powers on him", and it feels like such a letdown, Allmight beat prime All for one with only super strength, Is Deku that shitty at being a hero that he cant even reach Allmight level?

Wind pressure from OFA is guaranteed never fatal in MHA, no matter what. It didn't kill Kota, it didn't kill Deku and Bakugo while it destroyed buildings around them at their exam, it didn't kill anyone when All Might used it to break up the sludge monster either time that happened, it didn't kill Todoroki and didn't kill anyone at USJ. If it weren't for All For One using Air Cannon, I'd call it a general rule that wind is always nonfatal in MHA no matter what like explosions are.

I find it annoying that from the MCs perspective the villains will have suddenly radically changed for no apparent reason. It's not that they shouldn't have gotten an arc, or powerups, but there was no involvement of relevant characters while the villains had their arc, which is a waste.

Haha, we both know Deku new quirks are never going to be a real hindrance for him, if a major character dies because Deku did not train hard enough to control his new quirks and its absolutely his fault, then I will admit I was wrong.
But as it is, Deku can already win any fight with super strength, so aside from Allmight or Gran torino making an symbolic sacrifice, I highly fucking doubt Deku is ever gonna "fail" a fight and have multiple people killed because of his lack of control over his new quirks.
More than likely, he will conveniently reach the bare minimum of control necessary to win the next fight, meanwhile the others students will be getting even more irrelevant and useless while Deku is around.
