Don't get ahead of yourself just because your previous thread reached bump limit

Can't watch the episode yet so gonna bump in the hope that it's sul alive when I finally get around to it

Should i read manga first or anime is good adaptation?

Anime is faithful.

He holds them at no runs for another episode. Finishes with an outside changeup. Feels like it's been years since hes pitched for this long. I'm guessing he doesn't jam batters anymore because they are a national level team and swing at the last second? Don't really know.

Every fucking episode.

But Chris-senpai or Okumura is no where to be found in this episode.

Furuya is so fucking shit in this game.
He throws the ball back too high and keeps running like an idiot to 2nd base.

Sure Sawamura mastered half a dozen unique special pitches. But have you seen how hard Furuya can throw a ball. Whenever Sawamura is on the field everyone in the stands needs to ask where Furuya is because we want to see him throw that ball hard then afterwards we can be shocked that he threw the ball very fast

Shaaaaaaa

But that one was more like Aaaaaaaa

Hey Miyuki slut, you don't seriously think people browsing this whole board base on OP pics alone, do you?
Use the fucking subject input.

>miyusawa battery
disgusting

This is actually how high school baseball goes, though
Since metal bats give cheapies it's way more advantageous to just have a flamethrower on the mound instead of someone actually knowing how to pitch

>everyone on Seidou is fucking shit at batting besides like 2 players even though they practice everyday
>except Furuya who's just amazing at everything even though he spends majority of his time only pitching

Furuya has been playing left fielder position since forever. But he has shit control right now so his throwback was a miss.
If it wasn't for his batting talent, he wouldn't even get to play.

Just like real life. Throwing really fast means you have a high chance of going Pro when you graduate, and people want to be able to say they watched a famous athlete play since his HS days.
Plotwise, we as readers are invested in the here and now and rooting for Sawamura, since it's his story, but from a neutral standpoint, onlookers are always going to remain curious about the fate of a guy who has the tools to become a celebrity someday (tall build, good batter, powerful fastball).

The Virgin Sawamura

>fastball-let
>ace-let, fucked up his (((debut))) match
>had to learn 10+ different pitch with meme hidden delivery just to get an out
>buntlet
>only gets to pitch due to plot convenience

The Chad Furuya

>fastest fastball in the series
>true ace, carried his team during preliminary fall tournament, jingu and senbatsu
>never heard of breaking balls, throws exclusively fastball and batters still can't do anything
>rarely trains for batting, hit homeruns left and right
>author had to constantly nerf him to give other players chance

Just read the manga. The anime had terrible animation.

Marks of a true ace. That's why TJ had to keep throwing idiot ball to him.

>best battery
disgusting

Lmao dont be mean Akashi.

Stupid OP. Don't make episode discussion threads if you don't know how to put the series name in the title. People won't find the thread if they search the name.

this season is shit but adaption of 1-2 is one of the best sport anime out there.

There are furuyafags on this board?

There are like 5 of us stop being so autistic.

OP is either a newfag or a redditor.

it's still 15 different IPs if we don't count that kurokofag.

5 what? Thread shows 16 IPs. You're the autistic one here.

You're exposing your newness. Most people CTRL+F series title in the catalog.

Makes sense for a fast pitcher to be able to get good hits on the bat, they already understand the pitching form so are able to predict what kind of ball it is, and have enough strenght to hit the ball far.

You're talking about Furuya's batting talent? Well it's true that if he can throw those 150+ km/h pitches, he should have the strength to send the ball flying as a batter.
Though it was pretty bias of the author because Furuya's hit rate is just too good compares to those that practice days and nights for batting alone. Furuya doesn't even read the pitch, it feels more like he swings out of reflex.
