That's kind of a hard question to answer. I said it in another thread that while the series does feel breakneck I also don't see how you could stretch it out with A LOT of padding and while getting in some SOL stuff would be really great I also think 24/26 episodes might be a bit too much at the same time. Especially when you take the budget into consideration. The show has enough issues with QUALITY in 13 episodes.

Yes and no. XV would definitely have benefitted, but I have a hard time seeing what they would do to expand seaosns like G and AXZ. G had a lot of same-y arcs with FIS appearing, wrecking some havoc and then geting chased away by Hibiki, while AXZ felt like they had to make up stuff as they went along in order to fill up 13 episodes. Also, stuff that happened in the shinais, like the primary color trio being held in custody or Maria being a dingus during the G concert would completely ruin the tension and pacing. On the other hand, we could have gotten to see what the hell happened to Europe.
