His only contributions to the galaxy were destroying the nobility system and the Terraists.
He did everything wrong

>Heterochromatic freak is still not satisfied and can't profusely apologize to the Kaiser for not keeping his domain in check.
Why did they make him so bad at commanding? I swear this series would've been 10x better if it was Yang and Rein actually going/fighting against each other like it was established as.
I hope they go in a different direction with Phezzan and Terrarist plots within plots. When I first watched the series I was really let down by the intrigue that was stripped away to reveal mediocre antagonists that had so much potential at first.
>destroying the nobility
royalty was intact so it doesn't really matter
Because then the climax of the story would be at the halfway point and it would be harder to sell more books.
it doesn't make sense that Osama bin laden decided to lead the assassination attempt himself.
New designs look like shit, god why?
>>Fails to defeat a sixteen year-old boy in a battle, only direct success over the Republic in combat is against a fleet crewed by elderly people who don't mind dying
because he was dying
>Makes basically no effort to talk Reuenthal down
from the beginning stated that Reuental is free to challenge him
>>Does nothing when Oberstein lets two-million people be killed
why do you think it happened retard? the point was to draw away any potential support from Braunschweig
>>Unites the galaxy under the banner of autocracy despite endless historical evidence that just because you're awesome, your son might not also be awesome
The end moral is that "The Universe would be rules best under a Benevolent Dictator", and on his deathbed he told Hilda that it's fine if Alexander doesn't have proper ruling capacity
>>Completely fails to defeat Yang in an argument about autocracy vs democracy, continues to fight for autocracy anyway
yang didn't win it either
>Destroys the unique culture of Phezzan in order to build a new capital that could have been built anywhere
the point was centralization of power, also phezzan are space kikes
>Talks about how he'll institute equality based on merit, then appoints exclusively men to high-ranking positions except for his wife
half of the admirals or more were commoners retard, or low ranking aristocrats, same with his ministers
>Ultimately tells Hilda to just make the empire into a democracy after he fought the Republic to destruction, when he could have just let the Republic win with a lower loss of life
he told her that if she wants to move into constitutional policy that's fine, nothing about democracy was mentioned
What the fuck?
I would cosplay casual an FPA uniform without that ascot. The new designs look like an evolved Fullmetal Alcmehist Uniform
Is the Iserlohn cafe still open?
The entire point of LOGH is that you need both democracy and autocracy at times. The former adds institutions on institutions to slow down change while the latter is one big bulldozer to wipe out corruption when it inevitably settles in.
The author just read about BC Rome and made his history of the galaxy after it.
>>Talks about how he'll institute equality based on merit, then appoints exclusively men to high-ranking positions except for his wife
You act like there is some sort of a contradiction there when there clearly isn't.
I ran across it randomly last year and it was there.
Someone had no love for logh and decided to let a Kuroko no Basket person do the new designs and appeal to bring in the fujoshi audience.
That aside I was surprised at how good Suwabe is at copying old Oberstein's voice and Suzumura makes a really good Yang too.
The designs are a shame because most of the staff did a serious job with the remake.
appeal to the fujoshi audience*
this is your brain on codeine
How did they fuck up this much
To reflect better on the source obviously since Rudolf's son was a faggot so he may have adjusted the eugenics program to create more twinks.
A guy I know was just there last week. He ordered a Thor's Hammer.
>granddescendent
gineipaedia.com
He had a year but I believe it would have been enough.
>Talks about how he'll institute equality based on merit, then appoints exclusively men to high-ranking positions except for his wife
This isn't contradictory though.
>The author just read about BC Rome and made his history of the galaxy after it.
Don't forget about the Three Kingdoms influences. Tanaka loves his Chinese history.
Oh yeah, definitely. I really want to educate myself on that.
>Kuroko no Basuke in space
So you're saying it's some kinda... Space Jam?
Why so orange?
Look at all of those turrets holy shit
Who /comeonandslam/ here?
Trips of truth confirm.
Fuck Reinhard
>except for his wife
She was to be treated as though she held the commodore rank on military campains but she otherwise acted as Reinhard's personal secretary. Other than the commodore rank, all her power comes from her own political manouvering her family's clout and her force of personality. Hilda never held that high of an offical rank. She probably would have if she were a man. Reuenthal made it to Fleet Admiral with just being charismatic political and an average military man. I'm sure a Hildebrand would have risen trough the ranks as fast if not faster than Reuen, though that might draw more ire from Ober.
#notmykaiser
God, I want to suck on her Khazar milkers so bad.
>Julian actually looks his age
Wow.
Isn't Reuenthal supposed to be exceptionally smart even as a tactician? I may just be misremembering.
The biased narrator loves him, which honestly says more about the role that his kid'll play in the future than it does about Reuen's skill as a tactician. But his track record for on screen battles is pretty horrible. At best he's a jobber. At worst he's sub par but good at hyping himself up and having Mittermeyer pick up his slack.
It's ambiguous then.
>Ends a gorillion-year long war and unites humanity under one rule
Yeah, what a fucking failure.
Nothing wrong with their uniform though, both OVA and TV are actually good, Fujisaki's manga uniform however...
You would’ve just said that you have shit taste, instead of making a text wall
You grossly miunderstood this story
>Does nothing when Oberstein lets two-million people be killed
He understood nothing COULD be done at that point that wouldn't get him or others killed in a civil war
>>Fails to defeat a sixteen year-old boy in a battle, only direct success over the Republic in combat is against a fleet crewed by elderly people who don't mind dying
He was basically passing out every few hours from dying, he had barely any control
>Destroys the unique culture of Phezzan in order to build a new capital that could have been built anywhere
Building it there was an economical and political move due to trade. In terms of resource and govermental status it was untouchable
>Lets Yang become a normal civilian when Yang is clearly untrustworthy, also appoints a guy as governor who hates Yang and wants him killed, is then surprised by Yang betraying him and the governor trying to kill him
He wasn't surprised he knew what yang was and to some extent LET yang regain power so he could fight him.
>Sends Bittenfeld to box Yang in despite knowing that Yang is very tricky and Bittenfeld is only good at rushing into things mindlessly
He needed to keep yang busy for a bit
>Completely fails to defeat Yang in an argument about autocracy vs democracy, continues to fight for autocracy anyway
He understood they were two different people and respected yang for not going to suck his dick for power compared to the way people in the government he tore down did
>it's impossible to end a war without bloody conquest
Literally was made million times in human history.
Also, uniting humanity under one rule is a bad thing, nothing to praise here
>ends the war
He perpetuated the war, it would've ended after amlitzer if Reinhard wasn't around.
Did he say Kirchies's name when they did it?
>Literally was made million times in human history.
Name 10 examples.
>Also, uniting humanity under one rule is a bad thing, nothing to praise here
How is your moral judgement relevant here?
>He perpetuated the war, it would've ended after amlitzer if Reinhard wasn't around.
Reinhard ending the war is a fact, what you said is just an assumption.
I find it hard to believe that during the entire course of war an analogous situation did not occur, except one side failed to capitalize on the opportunity.
Also, without Reinhard being there the Empire would intercept the fleet near the Iserlohn and Amlitzer wouldn't happen in the first place, you dumdum.
OP missed the point of the whole series and its characters, Rheinhard was deeply flawed that`s why he was such an engaging characters and much more interesting than Yang
I'm glad I'm not the only LoGH fan into Three Houses. I love morally gray stories so much. It's even got the lazily written baddies showing up out of nowhere like the Earth Cult.
Probably, since he repeats it all the time for no reason.
