big final bad Touma is cliche but I would totally be down for it. His path to madness has been getting built up slowly since early OT. He just needs one last emotional trigger since NT9 was mental and OT22/OT1 was more or less physical. We already know that Touma is not a linear existence and has more than one concept existing within him so Kamachi can easily meme some insane bullshit like Touma beginning to black mail villains/being extra violent into him becoming a monster eventually.

I mean I know it's a lil cringe but the build up is there and do we really need a new calamity when MGs were basically the cap of the world? Any smaller villains will feel like science arcs where it's very entertaining but lacks impact on the larger picture.

Would love a scenario where Touma is the big bad and characters have to deal with it and fight among themselves on what's best to do. Here's a short list of what's possible with few books of a bad Touma:

-Factions break up and become against one another

-Accel gets a potentially character-shifting conflict where his idol is essentially threatening the new chance at real life

-independent people like Fiamma get the opportunity to preserve Touma's old ideals or build their keikakus now that their cockblocking normal highschool boy is done heroing

-Harem inner fighting and possible conclusions to romantic options

I always thought "I'll shatter that illusion of yours" sounded too evil for a good mc, I think concluding the story with a tale of the pressure of expectations and fear of oneself can be based considering the original goal for Kamachi was to write a story where kids stood up to unreasonable adults.
