So this is Island but in space.
Kanata no astra
But it's not about clone society, it's more an allegory for children becoming their own people.
>Island
Logan's Run, newfag.
Or any one of countless other sci-fi stories where the theme is "Characters are in a situation that isn't what they believe it to be", which has been patently obvious since the beginning
island was way better than this trash
Dropped it after ep 2. Did I make the right choice?
yes
its literally plot convenience the anime
Island had a suprising amount of sex scenes with the loli, so no Island was far superior
Never forget
Yes its dumb teenshit and doesn't do anything right
same
plot twists got dumb but it's still entertaining
Yes. Now proceed to fuck off.
Picked up
this would have been much better if someone actually died
having everyone survive in the end doesn't make any sense especially considering how many fucking life or death situation there were through out the entire series
I want Charce to get with Aries now
Even though it probably won’t happen
Kanata losing an arm is the closest thing to a "loss" we'll ever get.
But yeah everyone had it easy, the author should have inserted one irrelevant character to kill at the start. In the manga they fool around too much even in serious situations, the author forcing jokes when not appropriate is annoying. In the anime this is less noticeable because they cut the unnecessary stuff.
They are like father and daughter.
So if there are no more countries, and the king is subject to the senators, why is there a king? Some sort of Holy Roman Empire constitutional monarchy?
Not happening
Charce is bros with Kanata now.
To guard and hide Earth's ancient artifacts transferred on Astra, and only the nobles know about Earth's true history, orher than tourism business.
I don't think we are talking about the same Island.
So a planet?
If you dropped because you thought it was " le wacky space trip", you should pick it up again. If your problem is that it's not realistic enough, then you did fine.
