How did Nasu get away with this?
How did Nasu get away with this?
>I love Hisui
>I love Saber
It makes sense
senpai
So what do you mix to get Kokuto and Fujino?
Kokuto+Ryougi=Tohno Shiki
Fujino=prototype Sakura
>Kokuto+Ryougi=Tohno Shiki
Smart, confident adult + autist who loving to kill = hysterical stupid schoolboy
Kohaku is best girl
the three on the right are better and more fleshed out characters with better designs, Nasu built on his original ideas that is usually celebrated in writing
I'd agree with the first two but Kohaku is vastly superior as a character and design to Sakura.
I actually agree, but felt that one exception was not really worth scrapping the comment
>hysterical stupid schoolboy
What imaginary anime have you been watching?
Akiha>>>>>>Rin
Sakura>Kohaku
Shit taste, kek
>Sakura
>in any way better than Kohaku
Deluded wormlovers man
He is right though.
At least sakura doesnt willingly kill people, and less people that treat her well.
I bet you haven't played tsukihime and are just trying to post the ebin worm post
Sakura is a dull, bland coward who did nothing to proactively changge her situation.
Kohaku at least has drive; conviction and ruthless cunning that make her a far more interesting character than your favourite worm infested shitty moeblob waifu
Nice buzzwords autist
>has nothing
>"b-buzzwords...lol"
Pathetic
Honestly, what could sakura do?
What would you do if you were her. Raped for a decade, abused by your brother, and with all the worlds evil implanted into you.
I see many of these criticisms about sakura was a coward that didn't do shit. What would you have done in her case? Besides the easy way of killing yourself of course.
What I am amazed is that she is sane at all after going through all that shit. You fags really can't into the character's context.
>did nothing to proactively changge her situation
Who did currybutt evolve into, Rider?
It's crazy how Sakura isn't even the root cause for the mass murders around town and we go much more in depth about what her thoughts on that are. The point about Kohaku is literally that she can't express emotion, it's like you're literally falling for her genki facade, something that's actually pointee out in Tsuki.
Hell, other than the rape, Sakura is more similar to Shiki. Even the way Sakura goes dark mirrors one of the bad ends.
Kohaku pretty much just played a game of roulette with Akiha, Shiki and SHIKI. She had already been saved from Makihisa by Akiha, then randomly decided to keep her other rapist SHIKI alive in hopes of him killing her savior and Shiki who was completely unrelated to her situation.
Ciel is Rin's school idol side.
You shouldn't bother with him user, he still thinks he is cool for hating sakura and he will keep making excuses to hate her. If you didn't bring out kohaku he would call her used goods as an insult, of course he is supposed to be a kohakufag right now so that doesn't work
Sakura is the one with the biggest ass after Ciel. Ciel as a character is more simmilar to Rin though.
Imagine Ciel thighjobs
Kohaku's appeal lies in her being a villain as well as a victim, she doesn't shirk her role as having done vile things and neither does Nasu in his writing of her character, which is ultimately what makes Sakura less appealing for some people, too much is stacked in her favour of being a hapless victim and its kind of wearisome.
Akiha had to die because the Tohno bloodline was fucked, ultimately she wanted revenge on it and Hisui needed to be protected. Sucks to be Akiha, but we see what happens when she ends up in the same situation as SHIKI with Roa possession (or even when she inverts without it), so Kohaku wasn't actually wrong in her assessment, just brutal.
>tfw no ciel x sakura doujins
How so? Sakura got the most part is very pragmatic, while Kohaku is the more far gone unhinged of the two. Sakura was just in a far more screwed situation than Kohaku was by magnitudes. Makihisa actually felt shame for what he did, while Zouken does not and didn't leave the openings Makihisa did. Zouken legit made it so he could delete Sakura by opening and closing his eyes and is with her 24/7, and would check if he noticed magecraft being used on her or by her. Kohaku had Makihisa who not only felt badly for her, but let her be taught medical tech from a dude who knows demon hybrid weaknesses. Then once Makihisa was dead she fucked over her only ally, Akiha, and fucked up Shiki and SHIKI for no other reasoning but, "gotta finish the job", even though Akiha promised freedom from the family and a deluxe severance package for her AND Hisui. Zouken would have to be dead for Sakura to touch any of the Matou fortune, and in Hollow Shinji expects a cut even after all he did. That isn't even getting to the soul/grail experiments done on her that will be life lasting. Sakura would pretty much call Kohaku a fool for going that far, when she and Manaka talked she balked at the crazy from her. Sakura has the meme of being "nuts" but she is actually pretty reasonable when her soul isn't shredding apart.
>Sucks to be Akiha, but we see what happens when she ends up in the same situation as SHIKI with Roa possession (or even when she inverts without it), so Kohaku wasn't actually wrong in her assessment, just brutal.
This is wrong precisely because you have to consider intent here. Akiha knows how her family is, and promised a good deal for the twins to be able to leave when they are adults, and Kohaku deliberately did things to make her get worse. By being taught by the family doctor who knows hybrids, she knows how to help as well as hurt more. She decided to hurt them more. Furthermore, Sakura is interesting because there is a good dynamic in family interaction and you can understand her wanting to attempt to live a more normal life and even then, she still decided to train in every route post story despite her experiences. Her talks with Shirou about magecraft have a good spin that shows a decided sober and less romantic view than Rin has and that's valuable.
The second movie kicked ass.
The point is, as can be seen from Makihisa and SHIKI, no amount of good treatment can prevent the inevitable inversion. There is no cure, it just happens, unless you're already perfectly balanced with inversion like Kouma, who was an anomaly to begin with. Regardless of what Kohaku did, there was no preventing Akiha's inversion, it could only be staved off for an indefinite amount of time, possibly years but we'll never really know how long beyond that it would've happened eventually.
>promised a good deal for the twins to be able to leave when they are adults
That really wasn't the issue though. Kohaku did actually have regrets about killing Akiha as she confesses in Hisui's route, but she was already too far gone by that point. But her driving force was ultimately revenge and that's the only thing that kept her moving after SHIKI raped her the first time, any interference from Akiha by that point was far too little and too late.
I respect your reason for finding Sakura interesting but it really didn't do anything for me.
Yes, but can you make something better?
You say that, but in FSN the narrative likes to keep insisting Sakura is way worse than she actually is.
That's kind of my point, it's revealed that she isn't that bad, whereas in Tsukihime it's revealed that Kohaku has been doing terrible things and its one of the most effective twists Nasu has ever written, with the appropriate amount of foreshadowing. At point of revelation and even by the end of Kohaku's route the narrative is never really skewed for or against Kohaku, it's down to the reader to draw their own moral decisions. Sakura's is more of a red herring, which personally I found to be less engaging from a narrative standpoint.
The real question is: can Shiki kill servants?
Seriously though, Tsukihime anime or carnival phantasm S2 when?
>Rin
>Ciel
No way
It's not very creative but props to being able to consistently draw the same face like clockwork.
based cumbrains
They kind of serve the same purpose as being the go-to mage for lore-dump narrative.
It's official.
HF Rin is pretty much identical to how Ciel acts towards Arcueid and Shiki.
Fate is not known for strong characters for TM standards.
It is all about the setting and historical/mythical connections.
>cumbrain
Hey buddy, I think you got the wrong door, 's 2 blocks down.
I want to fuck you, leatherman.
The point I tried to imply was that some people disliked Sakura because they fell for the red herring, but with all the shitposting regarding Sakura I honestly don't know anymore. Other than annoying me, I don't think the narrative being biased affected my perspective on Sakura herself, and I guess I could argue that the narrative being against you forces you to ponder the situation more thoroughly.
I can see the girl math, but what about the guys, like EMIYA, Lancer, Kirei, etc?
>The point I tried to imply was that some people disliked Sakura because they fell for the red herring, but with all the shitposting regarding Sakura I honestly don't know anymore.
People have different reasons, I suppose. I don't dislike Sakura per se, but I do prefer Kohaku and Nasu's approach to her character in his writing. I think it's the approach that gets to me more than the actual characters themselves, at least in terms of comparing the two.
>Other than annoying me, I don't think the narrative being biased affected my perspective on Sakura herself, and I guess I could argue that the narrative being against you forces you to ponder the situation more thoroughly.
Yeah, that's fair enough.
Rin is absolutely based in that screen, wish there was a non-Bad End route where Rin went full magus
A lot of the guys were already in place from Nasu's Prototype outline, Cu and Gil being key examples. Dunno about the others but they could've been recycled from unused ideas, Caren for example was clearly a repurposed version of the girl who assists Mr Dawn.
That isn't really based because Sakura doesn't even have even a tenth of what her power should be. Rin is basically bullying her imouto and her sister's boyfriend, who they know don't have as much power or resources currently as she has. Made me laugh that Sakura easily is able to pull Rin in her portals in Hollow when she has her full power back.
sakura is made for bully
What the fuck is going on with Jeanne's fingers in the far right top image?
I like how they are all facing the same direction too.
Arent these made by different authors?
Nasu and Take know they are hack frauds and just embraced that fact to make money
They're not from Yea Forums. It's failed discord meme they tried to force in Yea Forums and Yea Forums.
this is a bad example
>Sakura is a dull, bland coward who did nothing to proactively changge her situation.
I've heard a lot of criticisms about Sakura but I'm curious as to what people were expecting her to do?
>She was considered along with Rider and Caster to be a possible heroine, but she was cut due to the plot beginning to stray so as to keep it manageable for the player. As Saber is a "Servant of the Sword", she was to be her rival as a Shielder, "Servant of the Shield."[8] She would have been an "abandoned puppy" type heroine who killed her Master during the Fourth Holy Grail War and went on a rampage, surviving into the Fifth Holy Grail War in a similar manner to Gilgamesh.
>Her role was originally only detailed in Fate/side material, but it was planned that she would be a character in what was to be the original story of Studio Deen's Fate/stay night adaptation. Her character design by Takashi Takeuchi was completed at that time, but the anime was later changed to an adaptation of the Fate route and the character was again abandoned. The design was later revived for Grand Order for Kinoko Nasu to allow her to be one of the main heroines along with Saber and Ruler
Imagine if some of these plans went through. Not just FSN, Deen/Stay Night and F/Z would have been totally different stories
That guy just spouted buzzwords without justifiying anything so I doubt he has any idea.
