No, it was clear she had feelings for Alibaba that started around the time they met her around the Balbadd arc early on in the series. Haku-whatever, the edgelord from a family of people whose names all sound the same, made his own confession to Mor before he left the party to pursue revenge and people took her concern for him as her being attracted to him despite all the flags that had already been tripped for Morgiana being in love with Alibaba. However like I said Alibaba spent two years not with the main characters while Mor and Haku lived together on the run for a while, with Aladdin.

I'm not going to dig up the exact pictures but you'll have to trust me that people were reading too much into Mor and Haku getting together in the end of the series and it blew up when Morgiana and Alibaba got married. Because like I said shippers got too invested in their own ideas instead of looking at the obvious. Like how people were surprised that Orihime and Ichigo got together in the end.

The series is at least in it's penultimate arc, so it might be worthy to read it just to witness the salt. It's ok as a romcom, the redeeming quality is that the author know's where he's headed and there's no filler whatsoever.
