I agree. To be honest, I don't mind EXTRA particularly in that regard, but the Moon Cell shit gets a bit convoluted especially come EXTELLA. But, for me, EXTRA itself and bits of CCC are perfectly fine stories as long as you regard them as their own self-contained little stories.

It really doesn't matter that Extra was its own independent thing, series being independent of each other since at least as far back and KnK/Tsukihime and Notes/Tsukihime. The fact of the matter is the lore is a clusterfuck without an ounce of mystery to it, which opened the gate to allow FGO and the like to go about making things even more stupid.
