Honestly, this feels a lot more grounded than Fire Punch, which is a good thing. I liked it, but it had a lot of moments with Fujimoto fucking around without balance. In Chainsaw Man, it has a more structured story.

That's exactly how I am selling it to normalfags. They both have a deep love of what came before but a huge drive to shake things up, an unusual but clever writing style without sacrificing gratuitous high-octane action, and are open enough to other mediums and cultures (coincidentally each other's) to alter their perspective on art and make their works feel fresh in their respective circles.
