Reminder that Gon is the highest IQ character in HxH, he's running for mayor of Whale Island and he'll become the leader of the V6 soon. Characters perceived as super smart like Kurapika have recognized Gon's superior intellect and admitted to being carried through the exam by him. A monster like Netero acknowledged him as a big brain giga chad genius and he was lucky Gon wasn't able to control his strength otherwise he would have been oneshotted, lost the ball immediately and forced to give Gon his license at once, which proves by the way that Gon moves faster than sound and is stronger than Netero even without nen. He even outplayed the chairman and harmed him with his boot, while Killua got rekt and Hisoka failed even to get the smallest reaction out of him. Ever since I started reading the Hunter x Hunter manga pretty much all I've been doing is just doing sketches.
Togashi's drawings are way more dynamic and expressive than just about anything I've read. his sense of style and composition definitely makes it distinct and way more engaging than just the typical clean cut non-challenging prettyboy manga art you would see in any random page of a mangazine.
I think it's actually turned out for the best because it feel like my ability to draw poses and facial expressions has grown exponentially.

Idiots who say Togashi's art sucks must have read the manga in some shitty website where they have the unfinished chapters instead of the official volume release of they've just seen someone post them as meme and believe the entre manga is like that. Togashi's art is rock solid 95% of the times, and often breathtaking to a level animation can't even dream of reaching. Masterful, diverse and dynamic paneling is something the anime completely takes away and that's a big factor that elevates HxH even further.

Another thing anime onlies don't know about is the details of the spiders' abilities shown in those cards in Yorkshin. I remember someone asking why Franklin cut off his fingers. I bet almost nobody here knew that Pakunoda can erase memories.

He was on the phone with Chrollo before it happened, but he didn't have his black voice phone. We don't know if Shal made the phonecall or if Chrollo done it. There was music signs before he noticed Hisoka walking out.
His fortune is vauge enough to match points with any of the above points, but there's nothing that really stands out, it seems to me his fortune mentions phones because that's his ability, and he happened to be on the phone with Chrollo at the time. I mean he has a phone theme and the spiders have had a death flag on them since Kurapika was introduced it was bound to be related in some small sense no matter what way he died.
The biggest point against it is that what's already been stated, that the fortunes tell the current month's fortune and not far in the future.
