This manga is so cruel. It triggers me to no end.

When will Japan stop these companies?
At least it has very cute kohai, who didn't know how to switch on the computer on her first day, and who now writes production code for web apps.
Look how flat she is, damn that's hot.
Did you think so too?
It seems in Japan, everyone hates bosses too.
Holy shit it's like I'm really working in IT.
forgot about soul crushing reality... Kohai is LEWD!
Welcome to hell.
>such a thing doesn't exist
In Japan, right?
I think it means for this company. Even in the west, it depends on the contract whether overtime is paid. My first job included unpaid overtime (US employer), I've watched out for this in later jobs.
Shame nobody wants to talk about this manga.
Yea Forums is just too fast to give discussion of relatively obscure shit a chance.
While this is a black company making them worse than the norm, unpaid overtime is the norm in Japan.
Good companies at least pay yearly bonuses
I hate the fact that we have to work just to survive...
I wish I was creative and talented, so I can be a singer, celeb, athletes, fucking esports player or some shit and earn instant big money...
Adult life is suffering... especially in a 3rd world country..
You think creative and talented people don't work?
>work for gatcha
This is so Japan.
Your mind has been corrupted by media, and how they portray work and success.
On the other hand, I bet people nowadays work much harder than in ancient times (unless you compare with actual slaves).
Their work is more fun than being a generic middle-class wage slave, let alone working class poor slave that's for sure.
>What would happen to this company if I quit
But that's the best part!
Only to realize you really don't matter in all honesty. Your team will struggle.. for the first 3 weeks, by then you will mostly be replaced a subpar person but who cares? As long as he/she can do all the work you left behind, the management really don't care. You're just another number in an attrition rate reported by the HR every month to the executive bosses.
>I wish I was creative and talented, so I can be a singer, celeb, athletes, fucking esports player or some shit and earn instant big money...
Fucking survivorship bias, I swear to God.
Always remember that every successful person you see in media, a hundred or more failed to shine due to bad luck, no matter how good they are compare you what you're idolizing right now.
I may be a filthy weeb, but at least I have life insurance.
Or is Japan's health care is better than any most country?
You're also not a high-schooler. And what has that to do with health-care anyway?
>I wish I was creative and talented, so I can be a singer, celeb, athletes, fucking esports player or some shit and earn instant big money...
>earn instant big money
You do know that the only way to earn insta big money is lottery right? Even then you need to be lucky as fuck to win.
People who are earning should have an emergency fund or some sort of savings but most Otaku portrayed in the media have this mentality that mostly of their earnings are getting spend on hobbies. I honestly don't know about their resale value but if you're bedridden, you really can't sell them yourself for some quick cash, can you?
She's a school girl, her emergency fund is called parents.
Also, in Japan, just like is most first world countries, everyone working has health-insurance since it's mandatory.
That Otaku spend so much money on their hobbies is one of their defining traits. Others spend their money on shit like clothes, which isn't much more useful in case of emergency fund needs.
Bump
Yandere kohai when?
use your get-out-of-this-shithole-for-free card, part-timer.
When I left my first company, HR was under the impression I was playing chicken for better pay even though I explained exactly why I wanted out and they really dropped the ball on handling my exit. They had 3 months but they only cleared my team's request to hire new personnel a week before I left and their key staff were off for some conference and no one knew how to properly handle my exit procedures since people rarely followed through on leaving. I met with my team half a year later for a dinner and it turned out they got 2 people to replace me but they weren't enough to keep up with the workload, major projects I had a hand in were stalled, politics in the company were still keeping things going anywhere, the HR chief was forced to resign and a bunch of others followed my example and left for other pastures.
And now based on all the confidential talk my old coworkers seem bent on sharing with me, I suspect that the company's shareholders are scheming to sink it and some sister companies to save money on payroll by loopholing out of the long term benefits promised, transferring company assets and turning permanent staff contracts into long-term probationary ones through the new company in the name of consolidating national resources and streamlining infrastructure management. Meanwhile everyone's buying into the story of everything secretly being done to make one of the failing sister companies look more legitimate but based what I heard about them, they're also getting the same death sentence directives from the top even with the debt write-offs they're getting in all the chaos.
I mean I feel justified in leaving more than ever but I didn't expect things to get so bad after I left.
there'e a similar one about an OL new hire being "isekaied" into a better job with decent hours and benefits, I don't remember the name the old company was black something the new company was white something
Work sucks.
Kohai-chan isn't even drinking age, and she's already dead inside.
Fuck coworkers who think they can freely distract you.
I need more Shachiku-chan
>you will never have a cute kohai who annoys the shit out of you
>back pain
This manga is really cute, lewd and funny. Why is it not being actively translated?
Chapter 12 was 4 months ago, chapter 13 9 days ago.
Does this count as active?
Also, cute scanlator credits.
The absolute state of software development.
This almost makes me want to be sw dev!
But then... fuck users!
I like this manga, but, as other anons have noticed, the translation frequency is quite low.
Another manga that suffers from the same problem and is about programming, even though it isn't a comedy, is Kings' Viking. The manga is completed, but at this rate I'll be dead before I'll read all the chapters in english.
I like how this genuinely explains how it works in real life.
That hits so close to home it's not even funny
>unpaid overtime
>coming to work on days off
What the fuck. How is that legal?
en.wikipedia.org
But keep in mind that the japs are not the only ones to treat workers badly.
Try it yourself user, go and find out what a "monad" is! If you're a programmer, you should know!
There are reasons why Japan became the economic power number 2 on this planet despite their industry being totally in shatters after ww2.
scary
And that's why Japan is a shithole.
Poor kohai-chan has been mind broken into being a "willing" slave to hardcore software development.
Kohai-chan has been corrupted!
And this was the last translated chapter. Make no mistake, I posted only random pages and didn't dumb full chapters, so go read it if you liked it.
You've triggered the twitter artists.
Good job.
And there are also reasons why they are all killing themselves.
They are actually getting better in that regard. South Korea is now worse.
was this translator's liberty or is the meme bigger than I think?
What meme?
>but it was cheaper to make the connector like this
Stupid fucking USB
>there is no first wave help in india to discourage anyone from trying to get help and force them to buy new software
this is unrealistic
Obviously since Indians don't even pretend to speak Japanese.
so the artist does hentai too right?
They know what I want right now.
Probably can't get one anymore though.
If the Japanese IT companies abuse their employees like that why haven't they made ANYTHING useful?
It's a black company
They can't possibly be working their employees to their deaths for nothing, where do all those work hours go into?
Or are Japs really that inept with technology?
Most of the software produced is software you'll never see or hear from. How do you know they don't make anything useful?
They cant speak english yet it doesnt stop them.
well, Yea Forums?
K&R, or I won't consider you human.
I visit Pixiv every day, and the site is written by japs. And most anime & manga fanart is drawn with japanese software.
Whatever is already in the code.
second one
first is for subhumans
Depends on the code but
IF (Conditional)
{
}
While chunkier looking is much more readable and makes a clear distinction on where the brackets close.
But for Pete's sake if the IF (Conditional) {
}
Variant is already in the code, just use that. Switching it up will confuse your fellow programmers.
