>Make an Asuka thread. >Mention how she is best girl and that she and Shinji are OTP. >Wait while other ships sink around you and yell about how they are actually the better girl/pick. >Watch as random anime waifus intrude just to try and get within the glow of the awesome force of perfection that is Asuka. >Get losers angry with facts and more Asuka. >Never reach page 10 until 500+ posts.
It's the only good anime. Everything else is better in manga
Michael Johnson
>Why is Asuka so perfect?
She has a lot of perfect balancing. She's got a good mix of feminine traits, but also is go getter and has some tomboy qualities taking such liking towards piloting a giant robot and being in combat.
She's like THE tsundere. And she's got a lot of actual subtle character quirks and development, and a tragic background that makes you just want to hold her and tell her it'll all be OK even if she starts pounding your chest not quite believing it.
Why, in the afterlife it could very well be where everyone is in their own heaven with their waifu. No one has to fight over them or share them. You get her all to yourself in heaven, otherwise, it wouldn't be heaven.
Cooper Allen
Thank you. Have some more Asuka for the kind words.
Calm down user. You need to trade in your own life for heaven. It is based on time served. If you only trade in 30 years or so your paradise will have flaws. you need to be able to trade in a full lifespan to get your reward.
Getting isekaied does not count as it is on 1 per every billion human souls consumed by the earth.
If any of you faggots even cared about Asuka, you would post her over on /c/ at . Rei is many more threads ahead of her on /c/ and that just is unacceptable.
THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE AS IT IS A SCIENTIFIC FACT THAT ONLY THE MOST ALPHA AND CHAD OF PEOPLE CAN EVEN BE ASUKA FANS...
except moot he is always a fag.
Luke Edwards
>I'd happily put my eternal soul in the line if the price was my beloved Asuka
Your eternal soul is already on the line, on the battle of good and evil.
Just fight on the side of good, and be a good person who's kind and loving. And perhaps, when you do come to pass, that kindness will be rewarded, Asuka there with her arms out open, saying "About time you got here, baka."
as*ka is a disgusting mixed race creatura, thats why the spic mongrels of Yea Forums love her
Lincoln Bailey
It's literally the same 20 people spamming threads every single day. Your threads constantly hit page 10 but of course you stealth bump it again with some nonsense.
If your goal was to make everyone on this board see Asukafags as cancerous retards then you succeeded, congrats.
>giving a shit about /c/ It's just autists spamming pictures not even talking about the characters or show. Who cares
Chase Butler
>not liking both asuka's
OUT, you're no chad
Austin Miller
Because they wanted each other the whole show but their complexes and insecurities, on top of NERV horse shit, made them hurt each other. Them together implies they finally learned to drop their coping mechanisms and grow as people who can love themselves, which is already implied to start happening post eoe
Bruh, the animators emphasize a close up of them holding hands in her introductory episode.
They even got Kensuke moving up the "Ahhh, they are a couple!" line to this intro episode in the Khara re-dub.
Just as the master, Anno, planned.
Charles Barnes
Based Asuka working the obese, mentally deranged geeks into a ding dong diddly seething shoot.
They like moths running into a flame, they can't stop themselves from posting in an Asuka thread. They hands tremble, their minds go flailing to their local Eva folder and Notepad copypasta.
She is the GOAT.
Carter Miller
Truth.
Going to be attempting a 475 squat for best girl Asuka tommorow. Wish me luck Asukachads.
You'd have to be a retard not to recognize the obvious sexual and emotional tension between the two desu. Too bad their autism doesn't allow it to actually play out before 3I.
John Anderson
>People ship the highly dysfunctional and destructive dynamic Asuka has with Shinji. Yeah, because there's at least an existing dynamic there
Luis Cox
If Asuka was really all that, why does she only appear in about 2/3rds of the series.
Neither of them are literally capable of any other kind of dynamic The whole point is that by the end of the series they have a chance, a CHANCE to understand each other without hurting themselves or the other too much.
Let him be user. He is clearly assblasted right now. Give him some time and he will come back acting like he wasn't just called out and still talking shit.
Christian Cooper
VOX, Decade, both Refrain albums, DoSI, and BoRA are all compilations of previously released songs, or have a couple of new arrangements of already released music. Nothing to watch there. EWS and Symphony are both albums of already released music, just rearranged.
The only albums that coincide with material to watch are the original 3 OSTs, Death, EoE, and the Rebuild OSTs.
Jack Gonzalez
>We wont ever get more merchandise and ship tease for the real Asuka
It'd be interesting to see Shinji go through puberty and see Asuka sort of watch as he fills out, and suddenly becomes (at least physically) more like Kaji with broad shoulders and a deep voice and charming face and such.
>“I don’t see the problem,” Asuka said, appearing behind Shinji. She must have heard Toji talking about the Stage 2 armor. “You’re skinny enough. You fit into my plugsuit before, didn’t you?” >She lifted Shinji’s shirt up—only to be annoyed by what she found. Since when did that little brat’s back get so wide? He even had muscles now. >“How long ago was that?” Shinji asked. “And why are you mad at me?” >“Shut up!” Asuka crossed her arms.
It passes quick. No development on it between Shinji dying, 4X Rei, and Asuka catching moon worms that fuse her to her Eva as a brainless giantess.
Michael Clark
True, these threads are only active when other anons are calling Asukafags out on their shit. Otherwise they're dead because Asukafags don't have enough braincells for discussion.
Juan Adams
Yeah, I guess that'd be the problem. I mean, it's nice to even get a few lines like that. I'd rather it be a little more drawn out and sort of savored or something, or have it be recurring. Like notices the back and stuff, later on he's carrying something and she's like 'When did his arms get defined? When did Shinji have muscles in general?"
And so on where it's just a lot of her noticing and lowkey admiring how he's filling out and manning up.
Wyatt Hernandez
>And so on where it's just a lot of her noticing and lowkey admiring how he's filling out and manning up.
And maybe a bit sad, because as he grows he starts resembling Gendo more.
Aaron Gray
Vote for her, then.
Justin Martinez
I adore Misato and Shinji but they are fit for more of a guardian/older sister relationship, not a romantic one.
>ywn bust deep inside Misato for an entire week like Kaji
Maybe, but maybe enough of his Mother is in there where he doesn't have the strongest resemblance, especially if he doesn't grow a neckbeard and has a different hairstyle and stuff.
>shinji catching flak for wearing contacts instead of glasses, asuka & misato half-jokingly calling him vain >its actually because he thinks glasses make him look like gendo
Julian Gonzalez
the true patrician and underrated OTP is pic related.
Something else is that she only continues to act a brat with Shinji. Elsewise she turned into GI Jane doing pushups between deployments which she approaches like a serious professional instead of as opportunities to show off.
tbf shinji, kaji and gendo are all very deliberately supposed to mirror each other in ways. its three blue-eyed brunettes all carrying the baggage of the loss of a woman after all
Funny thing. We're the reason Anno got depressed. These waifu wars are stupid. I would take them all in the place of the main character. They aren't real anyway, so why not?
>Asuka already has some issues being attracted to a meek guy like Shinji, but that attraction only gets stronger and stronger every year as puberty hit him like an N2 mine and he starts looking like a young Kaji, and now without the age gap to mess things up.
I wish I could draw good enough to make proper doujins of this.
Honestly, I never got into the 'wars' thing. I like Asuka the best, but I can accept that people like Misato or Ritsuko or Rei more. Everyone has a different type they fall for. It's just what it is.
We could use a spin off where an adult Shinji and Asuka reunite and rekindle a romance and get a happy ending together as their personalites have tempered a little with maturing, and now can get past themselves to help each other find happiness.
That might be darker than curse of eva if there's still a Nerv that Asuka's still working for in another capacity, and she still feels like wearing her old headset in any fashion.
I mean, if NERV is still around, what for once all the Angels are dead and Instrumentality does its thing?
Maybe it's some never ending generational thing, Angels just pop up every 10 years and you've got to be ready to fight them to keep humanity alive and Asuka just serves on the front lines.
Especially if she's only like 17-19, she could easily still work as a EVA pilot since I think it's more about the mother relationship making them work than specifically their physical age.
Carson Lewis
Remember, NERV was the cutting edge of science, even during the war. It makes sense to keep them around as a research facility if nothing else.
Noah Thompson
iirc it's art for a japanese-language fanfic, no idea what lore they ginned up to explain it though
Jayden Walker
Asuka is absorbed into 02 Shinji is NERVs commander His daughter pilots EVA like he did he ignores her as his master plan is to reunite with Asuka by causing 4th impact.
Michael Perez
a bit on the nose isnt it
Matthew Martinez
>Asuka is absorbed into 02 She would leave pretty quick. >Shinji is NERV's commander Not sure he fits the job description too well. >His daughter pilots EVA I mean if she's piloting EVA-02 now it has Asuka then that's possible but why? More angels? Conventional warfare? And did she get thrown into it as abruptly as Shinji did? >reunite with Asuka causing 4th impact He'd probably just try easier ways to make her leave the Eva. Only reason Gendo didn't do this is that he knew Yui went in intending to stay permanently.
Jaxon Morgan
Actually Gendo was unaware that Yui planned to get absorbed into the Eva and she had no plans to leave it.
Owen Butler
Yeah Yui was a massive cunt. Even worse than Ritsuko or Gendo.
Jace Hall
He didn't know she was going to do it in advance but I think it's pretty clear that by 2014 he's realised Yui won't come out no matter what. Even Shinji successfully leaving the Eva after being absorbed doesn't throw him, he knows it's a lost cause.
Logan Murphy
If he was aware of that he would not be causing Third Impact to try and get her out.
Jaxson Stewart
Reminder that Shinji does not love Asuka. And it is nothing but projection from self-inserting Asukafags.
I am probably at least smarter than you judging by your reading comprehension.
Gabriel Diaz
He might not know in the OA series. He has it figured out in DC and EoE, which kinda filled a plot hole where he took no interest in the successful salvage of a person absorbed by an evangelion. He doesn't in manga because Fuyutsuki deliberately kept it from him against Yui's wishes. Rebuild, he's addressing Yui again about advancement of their scenario.
Shinji could be a Gendo left behind to fulfill a plan laid out for him in advance. He can't pull off god-complex Gendo, he can totally be the guy talking to reassure himself about what he's doing. That's not Asuka's character to orchestrate things, though.
This I can agree with. SIP Asuka above Mangasuka too
Eli Myers
the idea of asuka's issues partially stemming from kyoko pushing her really hard is not a bad one at all, but ultimately it doesn't add that much and the specifics of how sadamoto does it, the test tube baby shit, are just overcomplicated and overbooked. though like most of the manga it's a situation where if it were a standalone work it would get a lot more slack, but the unavoidable comparison to nge just kills it.
also personally i think dropping her relationship (or lack thereof) with her father and the few but very heavy scenes with her stepmother in return for a more nunanced relationship with kyoko is a bad tradeoff
Brayden Howard
She's a precious brat. Just not as good as Shikinami's standoffish bitchiness or Soryu's development, so she's last winner.
Yeah, I think that's a big part of it. NGE is pretty much close to impossible to beat as far as where it took those characters, and although the Rebuilds and Manga may have in fact been great in a vacuum, they just aren't going to match what NGE was.
Maybe one day there'll be like an Asuka Instrumentality where all the various versions of Asuka get combined into one and we see how that turns out. Could be interesting to see, I think.
I know can you believe they all come into this thread with their idiocy?
I mean how can anyone believe Asuka is anything other than perfect.
Chase Morris
>all the various versions of Asuka get combined into one Do you want us to die? I doubt the universe could hold itself together with that much amazingness.
Lincoln Rodriguez
>Maybe one day there'll be like an Asuka Instrumentality where all the various versions of Asuka get combined into one and we see how that turns out >Bioshock Infinite with Asuka instead of Elizabeth
Sounds legit.
Noah Sanders
>I mean how can anyone believe Asuka is anything other than perfect. By knowing Rei
Cooper Hall
Well, maybe we'd be able to enjoy her in the afterlife then.
You have the choice of domming Asuka Sohryu or being dommed by Asuka Shikinami.
Choose one.
Christian Gray
Hard choice.
I feel like being dommed by Asuka Shikinami has a higher chance of both sides leaving satisfied and feeling good for the most part.
But, even though I think there's a lot more ways domming Sohryu could go wrong, I feel like if you did get it right, it'd be way better. If you dommed her and hit all her weak points and made her feel absolutely incredible and she starts coyly demanding repeats and stuff.
I might just want more details on it. It's a real toss up. I'd probably lean with dom Asuka just because I have a weakness for femdom stuff anyway.
Probably because she is a a machine with a heart that she doesn't want anyone to see. Shows a tough exterior but really she just needs a hug and someone that will be there for her and won't leave when it gets hard. Plus, she's a red headed, blue eyed German girl. whew. Good luck Shinji, you're going to need it you wuss.
Mason Hill
Asuka is a cunt and I hope she dies horribly in the final rebuild movie
Leo Parker
It was already rough seeing her get torn to shreds in EOE, I hope she'll be spared of such a morbid fate this time around.
Shikinami she seems the most emotionally stable of the two.
Adrian Hernandez
She makes it to the boss fight again at least. I feel like her Eva and the ship have to get fucked up to justify activating Eva-01 again, but she hasn't had that fall to briefly rise from and look hopeful before she's totally destroyed like in End, so maybe she doesn't get run through her other eye and eaten alive.
I was also thinking it'd be cheap but they do how 2.0 ended but with Asuka after getting eaten instead of Rei, but works this time to end the series.
Or possibly Asuka just actually wins the boss fight this time around, which frees up the rest of the cast to plant the bomb or get the MacGuffin or whatever.
Nathaniel Parker
if they do something along those lines it'd probably be played closer to misato getting killed in eoe, seeing as how she's kinda shown as straddling that guardian role as well
