I got into BnHA recently and I have one question. Momo has the power to create ANYTHING, and she is also known for being one of the smartest characters in the series. Yet, why does she keep losing? I mean Why would a smart character lose against someone who just can make their hand bigger? If Momo wanted to, she could create something stronger than that. Why would she lose to people over and over, especially when she's supposed to be smart?

Then what is heroic for her to do with her power? She also has a utility belt and there's nothing on it, when she could've used her power to create supplies for all possible scenarios. She could pre-emptively make stuff for each individual mission/fight and she doesn't even do that cause she's dumb.

The man made objects she makes lack power. She should study the support item tech. She could make a magic scarf like eraser guy. Or a freeze gun.

1) In training arcs, because most of the best applications of her power are lethal, and she can't use lethal force on other students. And the good non-lethal applications of her power just look like watered down versions of the lethal ones, so they aren't very flashy.
2) In arcs with villains, because Deku is the protag, and totally #1 hero material guys, so he has to beat all villains personally.

She's mostly hindered by the fact she's a hero and one in training at that. The power to create anything is pretty fucking broken and very versatile but in straight up fights most weapons she could create like say a gun, knife, canon, etc etc would be fairly lethal to say the absolute least and most of the exercises in and out of school she's not trying to kill or seriously hurt anyone so she works best as more support than anything using her ability in tandem with others like she did with Denki and Jiro during the invasion arc. If she were a villain or vigilante, she'd have a lot less hindering her but as it stands she just has a lot working against her to be as effect as she could be. There's also her lack of self-confidence and hesitance in general which also aides in fucking her over. Poor girl can't catch a break.

She's a hero and can't use lethal methods. Another thing is you have to realize that this still indicates to her being dumb. If she had a 6/5 intelligence like hori claims, then she would've known to join the tech/research division or become anything BUT a hero. She could've helped 3rd world countries or something else

To be fair, for all we know he could've been someone from the support class or some shit. Just being able to use a revolver really good is a bit different from being able to pull a railgun/bazooka/gattlinggun out of your ass if you wanted to. Aizawa's right when he criticizes the main Hero course, it's caters far too much to heroes with traditionally heroic powers like elemental powers, explosion, superstrength and speed etc etc. Outliers like Momo and Shinso really have trouble standing out despite arguably having more useful abilities.

She only lost twice, in sparring matches. Only retards want her to shoot someone or use lethal force in a training match.
Also the person who "just can make their hand bigger" crumpled a sheet of tungsten like paper. Can you name something Momo could make with said person within 5 feet? Both cops and military are taught if someone with a knife gets that close you lost your gun advantage and are going to get shanked.
