Idk, I hope it will get better... I liked the first 4-5 eps and the last few eps but the ones in between, at least for me were very boring, bland and uninteresting.

I'm an anime only so I guess whatever else, manga/light novel format this series comes in is better... Like wtf, Trash and Bitch was the lamest thing ever, it's like a little child directed that part.

But I am Isekai trash anyway, so I might as well give it a try and see if it improves.

I guess you are an animeonly but yeah, the other legendary weapons have the cursed series too.
The cursed series is a mechanism from the weapons that activates when the wielder is in constant stress/desperation, granting the wielder a lot of power but always with a cost.
The other heroes will activate their cursed series at some point and Naofumi and co. have to help them deal with it

The best part was at the beginning. Now he's too op to ever lose completely defeating the point that made him appealing to begin with. Even that duel against the spear retard was only lost because of "cheating" even though the spear guy outleveled him by quite a bit. We're back to regular scheduled self-insert bullshit.

Why is the series so afraid of showing the other 3 heroes as competent?

That's basically how this writer does things. They never really encounter any competent enemies throughout the series, and those who are competent eventually become Naofumi's ally anyway while the main villians are always retards who are too drunk on their own power and levels over everybody else but eventually gets taken down by Naofumi and co in the end due to their own retardation.
