It's using Live2D. Right now testers are just asking questions and give answers to others anons questions. There is some rankings for both types of activity.
The tab in the Google Drive is actually a bit unnecessarily difficult sorry about that, I based it off of some YouTuber's transcription and only fixed the notes he misheard, I didn't notice that he also sometimes played the correct notes in a weirdly difficult way. If you play it like this instead, you can sweep pick it which makes it a little easier, although it is a tricky solo to play nonetheless.
You do know that minor and major and the letters that they relate too are based on which notes are played in a song and not how hard you press the buttons on the piano right?
Parker Stewart
The pitch increases as the string tension increases, which it does if you pull the string.
I want to catch several wild anons from all across Yea Forums to a discord server titled "argue about your best girls and favorite shows on voice chat", then record all of the uncaged shrieks. Sample all and cut fitting to a beat and upload for everyone to enjoy.
I'll thank the several anons who contributed this thread, but 80% of posting recordings is just fucking me. Come on, niggas. SING WITH ME. vocaroo.com/i/s0BxTfhHJXbc
And I would've preferred if these threads were posted on the weekend than the weekdays, but I can't boss anyone around because that's gay. I really wanted to shill Sevilou's God Only Knows and that one user's Yea Forums sing's Bocchi.
I guess I'll shill bocchi for user-san. I feel bad our projects are taking up the catalog instead of his.
>Hello, I said awhile back that I would help make an Yea Forums sings of Bakushou Bocchi-juku Kouka (the wahaha song)
>I'm still learning how to mix audio, and I'm expecting submissions to be really slow so I'm not going to set a deadline. However, I will begin to start mixing the audio once I reach 13 submissions (I'm using the Yea Forums sings of Makeruna Aru as a guideline)
Eh, it's not your fault. I guess I should've been more specific on the server. Besides, drumfag's due date is coming up so it was probably best we did this instead. We're doing this for SCIENCE
You niggas keep it going if you want. I'm just gonna keep dishing out half-assed covers until you're all sick of me. vocaroo.com/i/s1c6Fj7LIJ2X Because I keep stealing their thunder. Also I expected user should shill these in bocchi and mitsuboshi colors threads.
I feel bad I couldn't find the instrumental so it sounds a bit silly, but I'm glad you two enjoyed it! I, uh, only know idolmaster songs if that's okay, but looking at right now is it even worth contributing to a dead thread?
>I, uh, only know idolmaster songs if that's okay I sing whatever comes to mind, it don't matter what you think anons want you to sing.
>but looking at right now is it even worth contributing to a dead thread? Man, threads like these barely get any response. But they do get submissions in the end, so it's like there's more lurkers than active anons.
Like I said, up to you guys if you wanna call it quits for now. I'm just doing my own thing.
Not me directly submitting anything myself but here's somewhat of an updated preview of Catch You Catch Me for those who have already submitted or plan to. Hope you guys like it. files.catbox.moe/wti7oi.mp3 Go check out this video for other previews: youtube.com/watch?v=238_j5oCrf8
files.catbox.moe/2j14rd.mp3 I haven't been on Yea Forums in months so finding this thread must have been fate. High notes are hard please no bully.
Ethan Price
I submitted to Gate a while ago, praying you guys get more at the deadline point. I'm just gonna keep singing because I'm a fucking loser.
Nah, that's pretty fucking good. >I haven't been on Yea Forums in months so finding this thread must have been fate. Hopefully you'll stick around for Yea Forumsss 3? Too much? Okay, my bad.
John Young
Perhaps it is rest you all need. No worries, I got tonight, champs.
>about 30 minutes ago posted around 30 minutes ago
anyways thank you for reminding me I have to finnish watching Youjo Senki
James Lee
drunk Daicon vocaroo.com/i/s1IBJW8D1zaj >anyways thank you for reminding me I have to finnish watching Youjo Senki you should, the movie is fun so far.
>always thought to participate in any kind of song autism with something very deeply related to me >love SG >see this Well, i saw it back in july >don't want to participate at all Fuck. Will wait for final compilation though.
Hunter Hughes
There's always Yea Forumsss 3, no deadline yet but Card Capture Sakura may be the first to call one. And I like taking in random shit from the threads like the links you see posted for compilation bonus. So you won't miss out on those anytime soon.
Jeremiah Nguyen
sounds like he is dancing to russian techno and crushing amphetamine at the same time
Is that one of you bandfags? That guitar is really cool
Thomas Morales
You telling me you didn't use this for the alt to Kei's Yea Forums sings? Unless that Matryoshka cover was the only one you weren't confident in, so far you've been rocking every song thrown at you. Really don't get how you're not confident in your voice. Even with pitch-correction applied.
oh wait, I was thinking of Fuwa Fuwa time. I'm mixing my Yea Forums sings. Sorry, it's been a while.
Carter Barnes
It's drumfag
Matryoshka has a lot of notes in the range where I just don't sound good no matter what. If it was lower, I would sound better in my chest voice, and if it was higher, I could sing in falsetto.
The plus about vocaloid songs is that it's sorta free ball, there's numerous covers out there that do the songs in their own comfortable range. If you ever come back to it, I'd try an octave lower or higher, your preference. But you'll have tons of more fun that way.
Oh yeah you did Reflectia a while back, patrician taste.
Cooper Powell
Yeah, I should probably go back in reworking the Happy Holiday mix. It sounds kinda disgusting going back to it now. My mixing capabilities have been improving since thenor at least I hope.
>tfw I can sing everything in tune except the highest note when it jumps a fourth fucking hell I'm gonna destroy my voice trying to get this right before the deadline
Henry Price
That was really soothing, I can feel all the sorrows and tea- >1:50 ganbare, user
Try singing a harmony line. For example, if you can still comfortably hit the previous note (as in the "last" in make this moment last), a really simple and totally effective harmony would be just that one note again and again for the rest of that phrase since it's a part of all of the chords there.
Kayden Collins
good idea, I'll try that instead. I can hit the highest note about 10% of the time now but no way am I getting it 3x without recording a ton of times.
Nathaniel Martin
Thanks user. I've gotten help from the other mixers and they even gave me their projects to practice with. I still have a long way to go though.
Zachary Mitchell
I tried to sound as autistic as possible. Inb4 don't even need to try.
Alright, Dante Must Die mode. Bounty to all singfags in the thread. youtu.be/mDopUiln0Zk?t=698 Bonus points if you can do the whole thing, make sure to put the energy into the hymns, I wanna feel like I'm in a dystopian future.
Got excited and wanted to try some Frontier songs, destroyed my throat by practising this part for three hours straight and started going downhill. And still didn't nail it. Ranka please forgive me. files.catbox.moe/vwuyw3.flac
It's now the 15th, which is the deadline, in many timezones. Since it wasn't specified, I guess I'll keep accepting submissions at least as long as it's the 15th somewhere in the world, which I think is about 32 hours from now. If you already know you can't make the deadline and you know you're going to record and submit shortly, you can send me an e-mail to let me know and I'll wait for your submission (within reason).
If, for whatever reason, you miss the deadline and you haven't contacted me in advance and you still want to submit, you can still submit and I'll do what I can to include it in the mix as long as it isn't out yet, but for example, if the solo parts have already been dealt out at that point, you won't get a solo part unless your performance is very deeply touching or something.
If you're bassfag, please send me an e-mail, because the schedule for the project post-deadline depends a lot on you.
Lastly, I had this idea about livestreaming my mixing sessions somewhere so that everyone can chime in and provide feedback and ideas in real time, which would make it feel more like a community effort almost as though we were mixing it together, and also I think it could be fun to shitpost with everyone and maybe someone (such as me, or maybe some of the less experienced mixers) could even learn something from it. I don't know if this is a good idea or not, I've never done anything like that before, I don't have the exact details fully planned out, but I thought I'd tentatively start asking if there's any interest (or resistance) for something like this.
Since the deadline is coming up I decided to try and sneak a recording in at the last minute but them highs got me stuck. pls no bulli my voice cracked a little files.catbox.moe/kje5se.mp3
Gah! T-that one was just me fucking around too. I was planning on submitting for that as well but I figured I'd let it go since yours was closing soon and I'm just, err, really lazy...I promise I'll try to submit it on time though
Is there going to be a thread tomorrow? i only played the original VN, this is the first time i've heard this song with lyrics, and I am a bit too drunk to learn a new song tonight
>I figured I'd let it go since yours was closing soon I actually still don't have a deadline yet though I may announce one soon. I'm just aiming for 20+ submissions and I have 11 currently. This is the current and latest mix with both unofficial and official submissions so far. You can email the mixer in advance that you plan to submit. Of course, it has to be in reason though and it's up to his discretion.
Forgive the absolute monotony of my ''singing''. My throat is shot and I can't sing to save my life. However I had to do it for best girl files.catbox.moe/wn4ose.mp3
Also to whoever's in charge you can keep that take. If my throat feels better I might do another take tomorrow but don't count on it. Unless the deadline has been moved again?
vocaroo.com/i/s1OCFhBQXds8 Well shit, it's getting late over here and niggas bit the dust. Cheers, bumpfags. And thank you femanon for doing a couple vocaloid songs with me. Requesting this if you see it. Anyone, really. youtu.be/Xg-qfsKN2_E
Oh, one last thing. We've been singing up a storm in this thread, lots of good samples and covers, tons of funny anons and stupid shit like there's no tomorrow. If you guys don't mind, how about I prep these for another installment: Ut/a/u Kuso vol 4? See you soon, f/a/ggots.
Well, there's 17ish more hours to go and if you can't make it, see for instructions.
Asher Lewis
How the fuck do you mixers make karaoke versions of these songs so well?
Sebastian Baker
Most anime songs have off vocals bundled on the CD though FFT and this one have instrumentals made by anons and some can be made with center channel extractor.
Brayden Reed
It's just I tried fucking around with an audio editor before and even with a setting designed to remove vocals I couldn't get them completely gone. I mean yeah I've never tried it before then but it's still impressive to me.
Did you try with a higher quality version of the track? Also every song has different mixing so try playing around with the settings and you should be able to get something decent.
I am clueless how to remove vocals from a song when I don't have acapella of it, and then basically audacity way trough it. user-sama O kudasai, please show me how to do it the way you say, in any software or if you got time to spare, youtube.com/watch?v=F6uDJVfuAR4 I'll let you rub my waifu's tail if you take time to make instrumental from this. I know mixing Yea Forums sings is lotta work, so there Is no rush.
Glad to hear that, but remember to not use any default filters like noise / rumble removal in realtek panel. These filters are capable of making expensive mic sound like trash,.On other hand VoiceMeeter / VB audio cable makes any mic sounds 10 times better, easy to install and config with any YT guide
Brayden Perry
I have tried to help a few other mixers out using iZotope RX with mixed (no pun intended) success. It has a feature that uses a machine learning based algorithm that's supposed to actually tell apart vocals, drums, bass and other instruments, and in practice it works but it somewhat confuses the consonant sounds in vocals with drums and you end up with slightly lamer sounding drums, and it randomly sometimes just doesn't think the vocals are vocals at all.
If it's for a project that I'm mixing myself, I'll just remake the instrumental from a scratch (maybe with the help of other Yea Forumsnons who submit instruments) because that's much more fun and not much more effort than trying to get a good mix with an instrumental that was originally designed for a completely different singer.
Jordan Ortiz
The only problem with my mic is background static, does what you said fix that?
Ryan King
Here you go: files.catbox.moe/hgi9ci.wav It's not perfect unfortunately. I would really appreciate it if you could very quickly cover this song. If you choose to do so, I would prefer vocals only so I can mix it myself later. Please don't be embarrassed. Song: youtube.com/watch?v=DWOjgjCQQ0c
Not him but are you asking for covers of the NTR song because I'll do it
Landon Martin
I'm gonna try to learn it!
Dominic Adams
Yeah sure. I would prefer vocals only though. You can choose the instrumental that you want and I'll mix it together. It would be nice to get some extra practice mixing. I'll even try to remove vocals from a song you want as a token of appreciation too.
I also forgot, you don't have to be self conscious about your voice or whatever. I literally don't care. I just need it to be somewhat in sync.
Jace Thompson
>You can choose the instrumental that you want and I'll mix it together As in an instrumental that's not That's Amore? Please be patient with my autism but I don't understand what you mean
Kayden Lewis
I meant you can choose any instrumental of "That's Amore" you want. Sorry for the confusion.
Okay, give me some time while I autistically learn the song. If you don't hear from me the neighbours lynched me
Adrian Gutierrez
It nobody's in the house tomorrow, it shall be done. My English Koyasu voice will finally be put to use.
Charles Allen
seems like others are already trying this, but as someone whose family sings "That's Amore" at every gathering this sound like a fun an quick challenge. I'll give it a shot too
Jaxon Cruz
I love you so much for this, i even called my nigga Louie to add his version as a bonus to cover that song for you.
I had abysmal mic quality using BlueSnowball mic before without that software, now it's capable of studio quality with it if I had more experience in mastering vocals proven by that installation guide I watched when I found out about vb and voicemeeter. Basically it diverts sound stream to an equalizer and panning tool that you adjust to your voice to sound crisp clear. I took so long to reply because I am special when it comes graphic programs, yurushite >pic related
God bless you I was just in the middle of trying to figure this out
Jace Watson
Thanks, I really appreciate it. You can go ahead and choose your instrumental of "That's Amore" that you prefer too and I'll deliver the mix later - unless you prefer to mix it instead. Hopefully the thread won't be dead.
Logan Cruz
Same user, copied your instructions but my mic is literally worth pennies I think and it seems uncurable. I'm going to try Amore and hopefully mixers can salvage it.
Ryan Collins
shameless bump for autism
Robert Adams
Remember to keep the mic's mute button on left and vb audio point volume meters muted same way it's on the screenshot, only adjusted to your needs with hardware input's volume. Otherwise it's gonna bounce back with force of 9000 tsar bombs because it's a "listen to microphone" mode but on steroids.
In other useful things to know, with MME buffering the lower it's gonna be the smaller the delay of your mic will be. When you record directly over anything, but when you overdo it then it might crash the program or butcher the entire recording. >tl;dr keep buffering MME, WDM etc in settings always on default values
Not my best work but these threads are always fun to participate in. FYI the instrumental is a FLAC converted from a youtube-ripped mp3 because catbox won't allow mp3s for whatever reason.
Zachary Watson
work around with intell pan on hardware input, it can clear pretty much all overdone mids or highs which is a common problem with either a bad mic or laptop's potato sound card in my case.
I should have started explaining from >pic related but you'll work it out, ganbare user.
files.catbox.moe/e18zbp.ogg I finally did it You can mix it with the same instrumental as Sorry I swallowed the mic a couple times, the only way to get rid of my noise was to sing up close. If you're still willing to remove vocals off of a song for me could you have a shot at this?youtube.com/watch?v=n25nqibaIDg
Sorry I meant to say I just figured it out. I don't know how I just did random shit until it worked.
Dylan Walker
it's always the same even without VM or anything like it, stereo mix is a bitch that will record anything playing trough anything (at least it was useful for me when I was still using old "screamer radio" software's stations that played long trance dj's sets)
Cooper Sullivan
I just realised I sang along to this version youtube.com/watch?v=DWOjgjCQQ0c which is much slower but I don't have an instrumental version
It's not perfect unfortunately. You may have to do some deep digging for the actual off vocal track. Also, I'm still trying to mix your voice but it's so quiet and that's perfectly understandable. I even upped your volume and lowered the instrumental's volume. Oh well, you tried and that's all I ask for. I'll try to mix it later. Off vocal: files.catbox.moe/virwur.wav
I think my voice is that quiet because I had to keep suppressing noise. I'm going to try again with an instrumental I actually have because I'm autistic Thanks for doing the off vocal
One last thing about VMeeter is that when you restart your pc (or it crashes because you got 40 sadpanda tabs with another 36 pixiv pages open - to quote my friend), In this case open up voice meeter's interface and re-select all devices exactly as they were before >hardware input 1 / 2 >hardware output A1 / A2 >ignore voicemeeter's settings panel from top right menu 99/100 times all devices will be already checked with the tick but sometimes they won't be and even Speedwagon doesn't know. It's pain in the anus but.they all correspond to one another so you gotta re-select all of them.
Noah Diaz
One step closer to 500. We'll make history at this rate.
Reverb makes vocals seem richer and more beautiful, just like when you'd smoke few solid dabs in a row, so beautiful yet so fleeting. Yet as the herb it might be a cure and needed in many cases i'm a irredeemable reverbitch myself
Actually, I've submitted to One More Night (in this one I got the lyrics right); I just don't know if I did it before the deadline.
Camden Rivera
There is no deadline, none of the tracks have deadlines yet. Santa is reaching his 20 sub count soon so maybe he'll have a deadline for that in the coming month or next. Progress is a tad slow, but everyone is still getting some for of submissions left and right.
So go nuts, sing for as many you want and can. Sevi-chan wants some for The World God Only Knows and it's in english so it's easy enough. The length is the challenge. But you can just do them in separate cuts over time. No one is expecting you to stand in front of a mic for 8 mins straight. You have my respect if you did.
I'm back. Should be loud enough. Now it can be said I really tried. files.catbox.moe/sp0dv7.ogg youtube.com/watch?v=NPkluP_AqyQ >tfw I've spent hours trying to get rid of noise and the solution was just to use audacity's noise suppression
I might be not a cat but one characteristic I share with one is that I screetch my mating calls during night, sleep until afternoon and go outside after, almost like i'm working night shifts usually and it can't be helped
I'll try get it done before thread dies, otherwise expect it the next time we have a thread, or even on Ut/a/u Kuso 4. Good taste, by the way. I'm getting some nostalgic vibes, with you user. youtu.be/xX050NcDNAU
This is gonna be hardmodo for me since I almost never drink, but got pic related stocked. Party time now, who's the boy gonna be amigo youtube.com/watch?v=1jJsYbVBnaE
Tell me about it, when I tought that "Moe Jazz Dreamer" was hard to flow with, then I decided to try singing youtube.com/watch?v=zeN8dKhM-0g and it basically sounded like someone would be typing facerolling on keyboard. If you find GOBURIN impossible (because it is when you're just hearing it). This one is generally easy to sing, also it's long because +5min songs are Shibayan's life motto. youtube.com/watch?v=JwWMpspzcg8
Ran-sama this person is chanting onii abilities without spell card rules, help. You don't need to make a loli pitched voice, you sound like dad of that loli and that's amazing in itself. The more covers and general Yea Forumsutismo you throw at me the bigger my sample folder is getting. Chen Gensokyo song remix was just a setback.
I don't know this song but it indeed is a solid tune, when I practice it more I'm gonna cover the noseless anime's opening youtube.com/watch?v=U62uAP4-k-A youtube.com/watch?v=tgSEpYQzJt8 I like the first one more, but 2nd is in HD and a shorter OP version,

>be monday >checking on Yea Forums >a sings thread still alive and nearing bump limit
What a time to be alive
Gavin King
The Yea Forums sings renaissance is coming,I can feel it.
Benjamin Turner
One more hour until the deadline. If you can't make it, see
can't wait for it to release, hopefully there are a lot of anons in it
Benjamin Sanchez
As of now, we have 26 submissions. We're still waiting:
>to hear from bassfag >for an user who wanted to improve his submission to do so >for me to record the drums >for me to record the guitar solo >for me to finish audio restoration and time aligning of all the vocal takes I received
Unless something dramatic happens, I guess I'll start scheduling the mixing livestreams in about 1-2 weeks (since a few people were interested and nobody was opposed to that idea). I'll send the link via e-mail to everyone who submitted, to the other Yea Forums sings mixers, and I guess if you're not in either of the aforementioned groups but you want to join in, you can send me an e-mail and I can send the link to you too.
Carson Peterson
Can't wait, ganbare drumfag
Christian Perry
Oh and in case I made it confusing, I'll still totally accept a guitar solo submission. It's just that I didn't get one and it doesn't look like I'm getting one, that's why I'm preparing to play it myself.
Elijah Smith
>As of now, we have 26 submissions. Damn, that was a huge increase from the 5 or so like 2 weeks ago. I guess anons started pouring in near the deadline.
Owen Wilson
Yeah, most of the submissions were sent while this thread was up. I was hoping to get like 3-4 but turns out we got like 18.
Nicholas Moore
I guess it's because anons like to procrastinate and it helps that this is in English.
