It’s Carole & TUESDAY today. Will he escape prison?

Prophet Ezekiel, AKA the prophecy
I had to give you my government so you'd know me properly
See this is my property, yet the system don't give a damn
Take Mars, remove the S, spell it backwards, I'm a ram
This the jam
See, everything is hot on this desolate planet
The type to put your satellite through some permanent damage
No diagnostics, all your drawers need to see a mechanic
Damn, we can't manage
Man, we can't vanish
I can't speak robot, but I can speak Spanish
Seems a lot of real music has been forever banished
Evangelists of the sonic revival
From trip-hop into tribal
Not a fight over music, this is my fight for survival
How many robots?
How many rebels?
How many lighters?
How many levels?
How many monkeys?
How many barrels?
Left in peril
Death isn't the only thing that scares you
Toast to life

He loves Carole

m.youtube.com/watch?v=nROM6th0teA

>Crystal has agreed to perform with Carole & Tuesday at the Mars Grammys. Seeing that the girls are unsure of what to sing, she suggests a song that will serve as a ray of light in the darkness. So begins Carole & Tuesday’s uphill battle to create a suitable new number. The Mars Grammys take place on Christmas, Carole’s birthday. On Christmas morning, Angela is at the hospital where Dahlia is being treated. Finally, the show begins...

Will Angela kill her self now that she is the loneliest girl without her fake mom/dad ?

I can't believe this trash is still going.

Gay fag

When is Cybelle going to be back?

>He loves a lesbian
That sucks but we've all been there

Never! bitch is in jail. But space Beyoncé is back.

Carole is not gay. She loves black men

If you ask me, Watanabe is tackling politics FAR better here than in Terror in Resonance

based schizoposting

Because more black people and female trump?

Stop making these threads

What was the point of the stalker sub-plot? It didn't lead to anywhere and it wasn't even that interesting, I thought it was going to be part of Angela character development but at the end nothing.
The writing is all over the place to be honest, I dbout we see her again.

>stop making threads about airing anime

>Finally, the show begins...
It only took them 21 episodes.

And it took bebop 23 episodes

>part of Angela character development

It was. It proved that Tao actually gives a shit about her even after making a hologram AI to replace her.

Stop posting in these threads

Why do you want her back?

Fucking CW handle politics better than Terror in Resonance

C&T

such deep commentary on martian society

I just stopped watching after the martian politiking became half of the story, I wanted to see two people bring back music to a bunch of boomer Martian NPC's brought up on AI music through the 'greatest 7 minutes on Mars' they keep blathering on about every intro. Instead I get this half-assed plot about AI being used to manipulate the population and sleezy politicians, journos and now some nigger with a chip on his shoulder and a bunch of random KGB-like shit with the police.

The last good episode was the one with not-Bowie dying as he sung his last song.

>, I wanted to see two people bring back music t

They are. Black music comes from discrimination. Know your history. Music is a form of expression and has been used in politics many times.

> some N***
m.youtube.com/watch?v=ILhv5AW8hH8

You say that like all black music is about discrimination, they could've done a million different style or things. Because lets not forget, this is a 'refugee' crisis about -everyone- trying to leave earth, they could have used any number of appropriate musical styles, but they didn't. It's being lazily used on top of this shoe-horned 'AI politic/refugees' plot, continue to prove my point about how the show has just nose-dived.

>censoring out 'Nigger'
You do realise where you are right?

This is Mars
m.youtube.com/watch?v=VYOjWnS4cMY

>You say that like all black music is about discrimination
It's not but it's the big elephant in the room. Even when it's not the main subject, it's always influential.

Bye

Holy fuck this faggot thinks he's on twitter, get fucked

Samurai champloo ‘s plot threads didn’t even connect till episode 24 out of 26

Because Samuri Champloo's episodic storytelling still had the overarching plot going on in the background and they eventually got there. What bearing does that have on this show that had a decent run of music-industry based storytelling before falling off the wagon with AI/politics sideplot?

>Because Samuri Champloo's episodic storytelling still had the overarching plot going on in the background and they eventually got there

And so is C&T.

It’s the best watanbe anime since bebop

So what you're saying is I should just grin and bear it while I waste several hours of my life hoping that the story finally gets back on track near the end after it's clearly deviated from it's original plot episodes ago with no observable recovery in sight?

Fuck you must be a Steven Universe fan to put up with that kinda bullshit.

>it's clearly deviated from it's original plot

Plot
>Set in the future on a partially terraformed Mars, teenager Tuesday Simmons runs away from her posh lifestyle as the daughter of a politician and makes her way to Alba City to pursue her dream of being a musician with just a suitcase and her Gibson acoustic guitar. On her first day in the city, she crosses paths with Carole Stanley, another aspiring musician who plays the piano, and the two decide to team up as a singer-songwriter duo under the name Carole & Tuesday

Plot from Netflix

>Part-timer Carole meets rich girl Tuesday, and each realizes they've found the musical partner they need. Together, they just might make it.

Plot from official website

>Fifty years have passed since mankind began migrating to the new frontier: Mars. It's an age where most culture is produced by AI, and people are content to be passive consumers. There's a girl scraping a living in the metropolis of Alba City, she's working part-time while trying to become a musician. She's always felt like something is missing. Her name is Carole. There's another girl. Born to a wealthy family in the provincial town of Herschel City, she dreams of becoming a musician, but nobody around her understands. She feels like the loneliest person in the world. Her name is Tuesday. A chance meeting brings them together.

The slice of life plot is still the same

No

Yes.
Quote from Anime News Network Zac

>I felt like Carole & Tuesday was, in many ways, a refinement and distillation of what he was attempting with Kids on the Slope - much stronger music industry satire and dialogue, and better, more interesting characters. Kids is still a very good show, but this was a Top 5, and I thought his latest work was his strongest in a long time. Kids on the Slope was good, but it didn't really stick with me - and as everyone knows, these things are subjective.

Ezekiel (Vo. Denzel Curry) 「Lonestar Jazz」 歌詞

[Verse 1: Denzel Curry]
Outside, looking in
Reach me on a place you've never been
See, I have the power of many men
When I walk, you don't see a grim
It's my ignorance with intelligence
Militant move
You should never question the elephant
I appear, yet I'm barely even here
When you're around, there's no one else allowed to see my tears
Adam to your Eve, apple of your eye
Whatever the circumstances, know I'll end up on your side

Carole, hit you with the lovestruck arrow
Feelings start to scat like Ella Fitzgerald
Feral, honestly I meant to say "Pheromone"
You was always there since my parents were never home
Orphan, cracked fortune
Protecting my precious Orchid from evil forces, doorman
See the sky's not stormless, Monday is so heavy
Hit you back on a Tuesday when things feels steady
It's the prophet, the one and only who's laying there
Forever known as Amer, ain't no need for the alias
I'm representing Mars till I feel like an alien
And you're the only star that I'll date again

[Chorus: Denzel Curry]
Days without your face
It's hard to stay sane staying alone
I hate the time of night
When you're the closest thing to home

Yes^3

>Because more black people and female trump?

At least the message is clear among other things unlike Terror in Resonance where his message about terrorism was half-baked; it's like he had something evocative to say but held back
