The music sometimes drowns out what you are saying since your voice is pretty soft and has an accent.
I don’t agree with music at all and you over exaggerated the amount of songs there are. There aren’t new songs every episode they usually have a set of songs they rotate through every half season. The characters have the same bodies because of the arcade game. Modeling new bodies means they’d have to remodel outfits for every idle or not allow mixing and matching coord pieces together. I agree with your opinion on Aifure though.

Most people tend to think season 1 of OG lacks songs since they play Idol Activities and Take me Higher so much. I can understand finding songs forgettable and bland though. I think there are a lot of standouts that I remember fondly but then there are songs like Dancing Baby which I had no recollection of until recently.

I'm basing this off the text rather than the video, so if you said anything else, I won't really know about it.

I understand why people have that opinion on Friends, it's definitely a much less hectic show than previous seasons (hectics really not the right word, but less stuff happens), but I actually really enjoy the pace. I've rarely, if ever, felt that an episode was dragging out too long. And you probably could wrap a lot of them up in 5 minutes but you'd miss out on the fun.

I also think people do it a disservice by reducing character relationships and interaction to just yuri, shipping and muh gay. The name of the show is Friends, the pairings are a major theme, and I think it's fairly clear they've all been written specifically to represent a different type of relationship, so I think it's kind of unfair that people (not you in particular) invalidate that. It's also part of the show I genuinely enjoy, and I don't think it's just for shipping.

I've also never been a huge fan of the music in the show, but I've always thought of it as something pretty minor. It's not like I'm going out to play the arcade game.

I can see people liking the more slow pace, but some episodes just feel ridiculous to me
Stars had the perfect amount of too slow yet too fast while akarigen and OG were just a peaceful slow ride with a bump to keep you awake at times

Yeah I really don't like when people do this. Its not like they're constantly trying to have sex with each other, they genuinely care about each other and do their best to support their friends, and that's good relationship building. I can (for instance I never saw Ichigo and Aoi's relationship as anything other than friendship for even a second), but Aifure is really, really gay. I totally agree with and it's the depth and variety of the relationships in general that I love about the show, but it's there.

Ainon likely referred to an interview where the writers said they envisioned Ema and Maika forming Friends as similar to two long-time partners who finally decide to get married. Either way, that's not what the show is, if someone tries to boil it down to just "muh gay", then he's unironically watching it incorrectly. I understand being bored by it for whatever reason even though I don't share the sentiment at all, but pretending it doesn't properly delve into many kinds of relationships between friends (to a much deeper degree than OG and Stars where several relationships felt cookie-cutter and almost artificial) is just ignoring things on purpose.

It took Aikatsu seven long years before they FINALLY addressed the inner workings of the its own system. It took the Pretty Series less than half of that time to introduce and flesh things out, AND more importantly incorporate it better in their various storylines spread across three different series.

Honestly I'm relived since I already intended to get the Soleli scales and already invested in Ichigo so I want to get the full set. If these were on the same scale I probably would skip them despite how badly I'd want them. And they are still about the same height as the S.H.Figuarts ones I like the look of these more and they are about the same price for two figures instead of one.

I'd love them too. There are lots of great sets they could do I think these have a ton of potential if they continue them.

AiPare is probably just going to handwave it or make up something dumb and ignore it and focus on character interactions and fanservice.

When are we getting an idle with crippling anxiety and mental health issues? Maybe she was an innocent child. Her loving mother and father ran a bakery and spoiled her with gifts of books with the little money they made. Every night her parents would read to her and she quickly fell in love with the enchanting stories that filled her sweet little head. She would start writing her own books, spending all of her time outside of school and learning the family trade working on her own stories, filling pages and pages with cute drawings to go along with the simple tales of magic and mystery that she so lovingly crafted.

Then one day her parents die in an unfortunate accident. Her mother and father had no real family due to circumstances, but her father's sister takes pity on her and takes her in despite the bad blood between them. Her aunt does what she can, but obviously prefers how own three children, who in turn treat their new sister with much disdain after hearing their mother speak so harshly about her now-deceased brother. The little brats would find their cousin's books, taking them and teasing her, holding her down while they laugh and tear the pages apart, leaving her a sobbing mess as she picks up the pieces. Everyday she would write new stories to replace the ones lost, being the one thing that gave her bits of happiness, but time and time again her new brothers and sisters would find them and ridicule her, stealing her pencils and paper and other materials.

Her aunt would berate her cousins in a half-hearted manner, not wanting to seem completely neglectful, but it does nothing to stop their constant hurtful antics. And so the poor girl slowly stops reading and writing. She becomes distant and cold. The years go by and her cousins start to mellow out and her aunt becomes less frigid, but the damage has already been done. Deep down she still harbors the desire to write, but the years of abuse has turned her into a neurotic mess unable to look at a blank page without nearly bursting into tears from the overwhelming amounts of anxiety. Maybe she tries other forms of creative outlet, but the results are much the same.

One day, on the way home from buying groceries, she comes across a giant TV in the city playing ads for a newly opened idol school. She's mesmerized, stopped there on the sidewalk, intently watching their song and dance; and for the first time in years, she feels a bit of a spark, a sudden warmth somewhere deep inside. Her first reaction is “I want to do that,” but her mind quickly interjects with “who am I kidding, I'd never be able to do that. I'd give up on it, just like everything else,” as she sullenly drags and scuffs her shoes on the pavement as she walks home.

he weeks go by. She catches herself having fantasies about being an idle as she lay in bed at night, restless and unable to sleep. She'll be graduating middle school soon, now would be the perfect opportunity to attend this new school and try to turn her life around. She makes up her mind. She'll try. Something in her life needs to change. She can't continue on in the way that she has. She would rather die then just give up.

And then we see her try and fail to do the most basic idle things as her fragile mental health is so easily shaken up. Backstage before the entrance examination, before she goes on and performs the song and dance she practiced in secret at home, she's practically on the verge of a serious panic attack when the principal notices her having a hard time and lends a concerned hand. Thanks to his efforts she's able to calm down enough to walk on stage and totally bomb her performance, but sympathetic to her plight, the principal accepts her into the school, hoping that she can make positive changes to her life. He will work with her as long as she is willing to work.

And then she keeps fucking everything up anyways.

The weird thing is that Sega is now changing Yakuza's combat from action to turn-based rpg. It's like they decided to swap franchises.

I like that they're doing a non-competition finale for the most part, but it definitely kinda sucks that it makes the IB vs LMT feel less significant. But yeah I think it was still good closure for them, just a bit underwhelming.

I liked the symbolism of I Believe first seeing Love Me Tear as stars in the sky above the mountain they were climbing and then seeing themselves also turn into stars and shine among them, plus the two units promised to keep pushing each other to new heights at the end. I guess the writers just felt like there was no point stating which one was better right now, which is kinda whatever, but I see the reason.
