Discuss, is it just bullshit?
Berserk
[X] Doubt
>speed up serialization
>soon
fucking kek'd
He clearly wants to speed up the serialization of his lolicon manga, for sure.
"Hope" doesn't sound very concrete.
He didn't said he's gonna be the one who draw it though.
>Mfw it eventualy ends up surpassing Berserk in number of chapters.
I'm pretty sure I've heard this shit before.
>his lolicon manga
so berserk?
The madman. They used CGI in the anime to make a quick buck, and now they want to use CGI in the manga to get it out faster?!
>Miura's favorite is Chi-chan
>Chi-chan has no tits
>Tits are filled with Hopes and Dreams
Anyone who can't read between the lines is a fucking moron.
I certainly hope that it's true and Miura is finally going to get more active, the latest chapter and that new manga of his are signs
Considering he's never said that before and has been putting out a lot of chapters (relatively speaking) lately, with massive developments?
No, I don't think it's bullshit. Whether he actually speeds up or not is another matter.
It might be legit. I think after all these decades Berserk feels like a ball & chain on his creativity to Miura. I think he's finally accepted that he'll only be truly free to pursue other works and whatnot if he concludes the series properly. That he'll never stop being hindered and pestered on his other works until Berserk is concluded.
I think he's legit gonna do faster updates and avoid long hiatuses, but I think it'll be at the cost of rushing the art and story. I fear he's going to sprint to the conclusion with a half-ass story and half-ass art from this point onwards so he can finally move on. Art-quality is gonna go way down (you're bitching about this "Moe" shit, wait until it gets worse) and the story is probably gonna have loose ends unresolved with side build-ups have little to no satisfying pay-offs.
He's not the same man he was when he started Berserk 20+ years ago. His passion for creating an epic like Berserk has probably turn into boredom and annoyance with it.
Who the shit is Chi-chan
He could also put a lot more of the work on Berserk on his assistants.
Miura's idolmaster waifu, ya know half the reason it's taking so long.
Now if only Hirano Kouta would follow this example. Drifters has been going on for 10 years and only has 6 volumes of content. For comparison, he finished Hellsing in 11 years with a total of 10 volumes of content.
It's a special feeling to read a manga that's as old as I am.
Is the Berserk anime any good compared to the manga?
The CGI is bad. The manga has amazing art, so the manga is much easier on the eyes.
How about the overall directing of the anime? Is it faithful to the manga?
First anime is alright. Amazing OST.
The 2016 anime condensed some things together.
The movie trilogy adapting the Golden Age is probably the best of modern Berserk.
There's the 1997 anime which adapts the golden age arc and is considered a very good adaptation of the start of the series. But some people don't like how the art style aged.
There's a movie trilogy that started coming out in 2012 that adapts that same arc with a modern art style. It has some questionable CGI, but is still considered pretty good.
Then there's the 2016 anime which takes place after the golden age arc, that's considered to be much worse than the previous adaptations. It had a sequel season come out in 2017 that's generally considered a step up from the 2016 series.
>But some people don't like how the art style aged.
It's less about the art style aged and more about it having little to no animation period and just being a scrolling picture all the time like Record of Lodoss Wars was. I mean you can scroll the manga if you want and play the audio and it'd be a superior product.
>lolicon manga
wait what?
I... This. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's this.
Suddenly sad.
Golden Age arc movies were nice.
OH SHIT
IM GONNA COOM
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>He get tortured for an entire year just to get pussy
It was worth it?
Based
Fuck off, retard.
>Berserk will outlive you
more like
>He got tortured for an entire year because his replacement for extreme gay sex with Guts was having sex with the princess while thinking about Guts
So that's nice and all for Berserkfags but uh... What is Togashi doing and why is there STILL no chapter this year?
>What is Togashi doing and why is there STILL no chapter this year?
the answer to both those questions is dragon quest
Stop baiting. This is a Berserk thread.
It outlived many Yea Forumsnons.
I know it was necessary, but I'm still mad
Shit, he's dying.
I just want to see Griffith get a big ole butthole full of dragonslayer. Is that so much to ask?
Chances are, Guts and Griffith are never going to see one another again. Their stories are going to fizzle out on different ends of the planet, all in their own little utopia.
So what's gonna be that "surprising developments"?
90's series is where it's at. The OST and inclusion of the quiet, contemplative parts make it the closest to a proper adaptation the manga will ever get, sadly. Movie trilogy was fun to watch but it cuts out a LOT. Really, like a whole lot. CG is ugly but by the 3rd movie they kind of figured out how to make it look nice.
Fantasia ends the same way the mundane world was merged with the astral world - the astral-mundane world being merged with the world of ideas (that Griffith briefly saw when he was turned into Femto).
S O O N
I know what you mean. It's sad what life sometimes do to you and to the hobbies you once had.
>hopes
Guts kills that demon in hell.
>lolicon
Isn't it shotacon?
instead of 3 chapters a year, we're gonna get 6 now
in 5 years, I bet it will be over, but it will be rushed and barely any loose ends will be tied up.
dare to dream
