Hachi gets angry at this. After a few exchanges of words, Daruma decides to confront Ryu.
Ryu asked, "Cat, are you a male or female."
Daruma answered, "Neither."
Ryu thought about it and pulls out a second blade from his belly. (unsure)
He pulls out his samurai soul and put it on his blade.
The space ship changes shape and restrains Kotsuga.
Ryu cuts it off and free Kotsuga. And they both escape the ship.
Second Half:
Daruma is fighting outisde the ship with his armor on. He came back to the ship when he heard an emergency notice about a sudden problem with his money.
The notice says something like, "Can't pay the amount required. Kindly verify and check your balance."
Daruma, "Show me the transaction listing!"
"Food 20,000yen; Hachimaru's clothes 15,000yen; Antique shop 17,000,000yen"
Daruma has a strange look and asked hachi what happened.
Hachi thought Daruma looked at him funny because his head got pierced by Ryu's sword.
Daruma, "What funny is your sense with money, hachi.."
They caught both of them eventually and Daruma asked Hachi what happened at the antique shop.
Hachi said he bought a fabric with golden embroidery on it as a present for Ann.
And he mistakenly saw the price as 1,7000 yen instead of 17,000,000 yen.
Kotsuga, heard of the current money issue faced by Hachi and co, talks about their plan about a tournament that is being held at another planet
The winner of the tournament will get a prize money of 1 billion yen.
Also, the organizer seems to have a very participant by his side, and is a key of a legendary box.
Hachi says, "Seems like a [killing 2 birds w/ 1 stone ]idea. Should i enter the festival, sensei?

The flashback came out of nowhere with zero transition, and there seemed to be no point for the flashback. Gojo in the last chapter comes back with some “ I actually didn’t die” and the definitions of the power system got changed. The fights are still cool but the story is a mess right now

I can't take the hiatus suffering very well either. But I am hoping he is using this extra long Hiatus to finish the script for the entire arc and then just hire a bunch of assistants to draw it. He said he was 10 chapters ahead in the Script before the last Hiatus, and there must be like 60 chapters left in the Arc. So even at his previous pace, he should have been able to reach the script of chapter 410 by now. And if npt drawing the chapters accelerated the speed of the writing, it could be 420+. Enough to get the arc near the final confrontation. A point at which it should be easy to write.

Basically everything after Grace Field House arc has been downhill with Goldy Pond being okayish. I only check it every 2-3 weeks.

KnY and Neverland kinda don't matter anyway to any other series in the magazine. I like KnY but it's almost certainly ending this arc, and Shirai flat out confirmed this is Neverland's final arc. Ufotable can keep adapting KnY and Neverland had a second season confirmed I think so they'll continue on as a series after they end almost certainly but as far as being published in Jump goes they're immaterial.

Also Shinobi Squad, Taisei, and Beast Children are 100% axed. Kishi well and truly fucked up Samurai 8- the nips are making fun of it too because it's writing is so bad. If I was any of those three Jump Start mangakas I'd be fucking salty knowing that I was a cushion for an even shittier manga to continue on because its author was huge. Samurai 8 is gonna get like 4-5 fucking volumes of absolute garbage no one is gonna read because they want to fill space in the magazine and think Kishi can somehow salvage it.

Yozakura is OK and has the potential to go both the Spy x Family route of building up on a pre-established relationship and the World Trigger route by having the MC be a normal dude trying to catch up to a bunch of monsters, but that will all depend on whether the author can execute those concepts well or not.

But on the first couple chapters of SxF I already liked the characters and wanted to see their relationship evolve, can't say the same about Yozakura.

I don't know if the comparison with WT works, the powers in Yozakura seem more like rule of cool than a hard power system.
With all that said, if Yozakura does flop I can see this author having a hit with his third series. He definitely got better compared to Poro.

Yozakura family didn't have the explosive start that SxF had but it isn't too late to do something interesting with the premise and the characters.
I'm not expecting an airtight battle system from this series at all, but I'm down for an MC who gets strong through the power of sheer hard work and determination. He's not terribly interesting yet but Osamu wasn't anything special for the first few volumes either.
Or it could go the Poro route and be the year's first U19 member.

I suspect it's more like World Trigger in that he advanced his plans in a bid to save the series. I recall someone saying it was being advertised as a battle romcom before it started, so some degree of fighting was definitely planned. He probably had the supernatural stuff planned as well, but intended to get to it later. But with the series struggling he moved it up and switched the focus to it in a bid to save the series.
