I have always enjoyed this one. Also if you wanted to go in on the 9/11 stuff why not use Countdown to Heaven? It was literally about the bombing of twin towers and came out that year a few months before.
It's a typical gacha where you collect characters. I play it occasionally because it's an english Conan game still putting out new stuff (as opposed to old translations of Conan games which don't update), notable is their reliance on characters like Akai and Amuro, in-game errors, and translation problems, and having to pay to remove ads after every round too. If you want to try playing it, internationally they call it Case Closed Runner. I turned it on but it seems they're doing heavy maintenance.

You can get diamonds a bunch of ways. 15 per level up, a decent amount for getting achievements through story mode cases, some events that give gacha tickets (normal and SR), etc. If its a dry spell and you already completed events and cases, you also get diamonds on some days you log in and you can get 20 diamonds a day by watching 4 ads, 2 in the morning and 2 later that day.
By reliance I just feel like I see too much Amuro in the game. Memory fails me on before pic related but it ended and then we got and in this one I'm pretty sure it was Haibara SR and Amuro SSR in the same way.

It comes and goes. Just enough to bug me but not enough to drop the game over it. For instance I remember it took forever for them to add Kazuha at all while they were already putting out different versions of Amuro and Akai. Kazuha still doesn't have an SSR. Heiji was released at the start and has SSRs. It sucks but fujos are the most likely to pay for the characters they want. Their priorities could be more subtle but this is DC and even Gosho sunk so low as to talk about an Amuro figure's ass.
