Why is Green Jacket so kino
Has anyone watched Mine Fujiko's Lie already? If so, what are your thoughts on it?
Link to whoever didn't watch it yet:

It was pretty good. Surprised to see the sniper guy returning. Mamo appears to be behind everything, or do you think there's going to be even more villains returning?
loopan
What were they smoking when they wrote Goodbye Partner? The movie can't focus on an idea for 5 minutes before forgetting it for another plot point. First it looks like it will be about Zenigata being framed, but no wait, it's about Chopin, but no wait, it's about Lupin being challenged to steal a diamond from the chinese, but no wait, it's about Jigen betraying Lupin, but no wait, it's about this rich guy who wants to be the boss of Hillary Clinton, but no wait, it's about stopping a sentient supercomputer to take over the world, but no wait, etc.
It's not much worse in that regard than other specials. Bye Bye Liberty for example.
Lupin quietly doesn't give a damn about exposition or continuity, kind of like Space Dandy but without drawing attention to it. Green Jacket was peak "this episode he's driving in Formula 1 because fuck yeah he is."
>Why, yes. Pink jacket is my favorite Lupin III. How could you tell?
For such a quick shot, that is a brilliantly directed scene. Camera captures the composition of the entire sequence without moving once, and none of it looks forced or out of place. I wonder what genius is behind this...
>another Lupin thread dies after 10-12 replies
It was fine. Although I thought it was kind of weird how Lupin and Jigen just jumped at the chance to be assassins but it didnt bother me too much.

Meh, bring Ami back and now we're talking. Seriously though, I haven't seen it yet but I'm planning to. I just hope it isn't OOC garbage like the one Okada wrote.
Lupin threads are cursed. I remember part IV aired first in pastaland, so the threads lost all hype here. And god damn that fucking OP.
Anyone have that gif/webbum of Lupin talking philosophically about how he's the main character in his own show?
Which color jacket killed the most people?
I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET INTO LUPIN AAAAAAARRRGHH
PEOPLE JUST SAY "WATCH WHATEVER" BUT THERE'S SO MUCH I DON'T KNOW WHICH IS THE RIGHT THING TO WATCH FIRST
Episode 1.
Perfect, thanks friend
Alcatraz Connection.
It's Kino.
pink jacket is a good time.
>the good way
watching everything release order, starting at green jacket
>the little babby way
part 4 -> part 5 -> fujiko spin off -> koikeverse movies
put castle of cagliostro somewhere in there
Lupin should wear a different colored suit in every frame he's in.
The only thing I ever watched about Lupin was the recent movie with that sniper guy and that Samurai Jack episode. I want to get into it, where should I start? What movies or series should I watch?
Start with Castle of Cagliostro and then just float around the specials whose premise seems to interest you. I liked first contract, dead or alive, Harimao's treasure, return the treasure and lost secret night and fuma conspiracy. Granted my opinion may be trash so watch whatever you like from it.
Lupin also works as an assassin in the manga.
I just started with the first EP of part 1 cant wait to discuss it in 3-4 weeks
have fun
Anyone else really like red jackets English dub?
Lupin is originally a very bad criminal.
But he’s a nice man.
But part 4 sucked.
Part 5 was fantastic, though. Too bad we will never see Amy again.
I saw it in theaters, but haven't seen any of the other Fujiko movies or series. I was impressed by the animation above all else.
Are the Fujiko/Koike movies like the Fujiko series?
Because I stopped that after about 5 episodes.
Anyone remember that episode from part 2 where they steal a camera that takes pictures of the future then the episode ends with fujiko running naked on the beach? What are your favorite episodes?
No I think the movies have been Much better. I was not a fine of a woman called mine fujiko either
Fan not fine. Maybe its time for one more episode of lupin then bed
Will I enjoy this if I really liked Space Dandy and space cobra? I thought about starting with the 80s series first but I've heard it's trash
It's okay but I prefer the sub
What episode is this from?
So close to completing the main crew...but Bandai never gave us Goemon...
I kind of did it the second way but I've watched Part 1 as well. I tried part 2 but it wasn't doing enough for me.
Jigen is so cute.
There are really people who liked Ami?
Why doesn't Yea Forums allow webms with sound?
I love that scene, only good thing about the new season.
Watch whatever.
There is no overarching plot, just pick the one that looks the most interesting to you and make a decision on your own for once.
The Third!!
SIGASTORTE
sweet
part 5 episode 23.
Cobra!
The last 2 episode of part V might very well be the best episodes ever, the ones with the highest payoff for long time fans for sure.
Bling-blaow, oh, chains on Skateboard P
>What are your favorite episodes?
For part I, all of it as a whole, but specially the Masaaki Osumi directed episodes.
FUCK YOU FOR REMINDING ME
definitely ep 4 of green jacket
I love that ending so fucking much
How was the new Fujiko movie anyway?
Seen it pop up with subs on the usual places
But he's cool.
nice
>
Y'know. He uses his walther.
Thats pretty fucking cool
Is it related to the terrible Fujiko series by Okada?
yes
I guess in theory they're part of the same continuity, but it doesn't really matter.
This seems to be an exclusively Italian phenomenon.
smonks
I miss casual nudity with humor.
Italian boomers are heavily into lupin
And as usual boomers are right
Do Italian zoomers watch parts IV and V?
There are parts labelled 1-5. I assume you know how to count.
You saved that from the other thread, didn't you?
That image gets posted in every Lupin thread.
LePain
>space cobra
