Kirei doesn't even really do anything major until towards the last two days of HF, which we're definitely gonna see.
Illya's scenes were condensed but not outright cut, and they can definitely squeeze in more scenes for her. The only thing they won't have for her is Die Lorelei, but I can live without it.

I want to say Shirou and Kirei's brawl but with how UFO have been handling fight scenes since UBW my optimism has diminished.

What's wrong with how they've been handling the fight scenes?

Have you seen Alter vs Berserker? That shit was right there with 4 tails Naruto vs Pain. They tried to make it so over the top it looked cartoonish and ridiculous.

Don't worry, they will release it as a special ending for the BD. If they did I hope they don't just have Shirou punching through Saber Alter's armor after she just survived being ragdolled by Herk. Emiya has more than enough tricks up his sleeve to circumvent Saber Alter's defenses by being clever with his weapon usage.
