Was it good?

based
homewrecker got BTFO'd to oblivion
No, it was exceptional and I'll forever be mad about the terrible art and animation. Imagine Tsuki in the Kireis with Aoi Hana's or Hourou Musoku's art. Oh my.
it was kino, one of the few good hetero romance shows
It was good but I liked "Just Because" more.
I never liked camera.
It was alright.
Is this a White Album 2 spinoff?
Yes, cute romance
No. It is the most boring kind of anime. And teenagers who still need to confess even though they know they are going to get rejected is a retarded trope that gives me PTSD.
The only show I know where LDR won at the end.
Also, rip tomboyfags. I never really liked you and what you preach, you annoying scumbags.
Somehow I have to power through the first half despite several good moments just like Clannad but then it become the best standard romance I've ever watched. The last episode isn't quite for me but that last montage scene is the best ending ever I think, especially if you pay attention the ending of every episode.
>sports chad wasn't a chad at all and kinda beta
>MC styles all over him
It was sweet. And I like the art style.
>the ending of every episode.
I kinda forgot. Was it the one where their pictures progressively got closer?
Underrated gem of the season desu.
Maybe I call it underrated because it was apart of my end of season pick up and I marathoned it.
The text messages were theirs, just out of order.
It was the best LINE ad I ever watched.
Oh, yeah now I remember that one. Agree, it was neat.
>LDR won
Stop bullshitting me, that never happens
What show is this
They won, tho.
Ok, you sold me on this shit
I could use some wholesome romance for a bit
Unironically the best written teen romance of all time.
It was excellent. Maybe the cutest and most true-to-life teen romance in anime ever.
Are there more of these?
The thread was a blast
Ok, schizo
I'm not sure about the underrated part. I mean, it won the AOTY held by Anime Trending on Facebook.
>facebook
user, that normie central thinks S;G0 and DBS are some of the greatest anime ever, their opinion doesnt count for shit
The only reason you think it's underrated is becasue a screeching minority on Yea Forums continuously calls it "boring". It's like, Top 150 highest rated television show on MAL (exclude all the sequels like Gintama and SnK and it's probably top 100), came in 5th in 2ch's AOTY poll, is top 3 highest rated show of 2017 on various Japnese websites like sakuhindb, sold 6k discs and is generally liked by a shit ton of people.
*ripoff
Gotta love the Shinkaifag doomposters and how they got BTFO'd hard.

Underwhelming. Starts off with great premise, but doesn't do anything with it except show NTR tomboy fap fuel. The main characters are flat, boring and you don't get clear idea of why they fell for each other and never showed any chemistry. In the end he's into her because she smells nice and she's into him because he was nice to her once. All the drama are two things: they set up a meeting and one of them was late and misunderstood something and then the girl goes apeshit for absolutely no reason at the end. It was really superfluous and out of nowhere and should've been like mid-season thing, but no, the show shows them break up only to show them get together again in the credits. It felt weird and out of place, they've already shown bumps in the road towards their happiness and then the show breaks them up only to sike the viewers. If nothing was already particularly realistic and the show not only clearly led up to happy ending but also straight up says "this has a happy ending", why not just show a happy ending without girl literally spazzing out of nowhere?
It also doesn't help that music is forgettable, the animation is simply and quickly deteriorates by middle of the season, the CG models are disgusting and stick out as a sore thumb. I was surprised that Akane was voiced by Konomi Kohara, apparently she was put in the position where none of her talent shows and it comes across as bootleg HanaKana. She's definitely more cut out for comedic performances (Kasumi in Asobi Asobase, Kukuri in Mahoujin Guruguru, currently Mina in Takagi). It's like watching Mark Wahlberg in Happening.
Bottom line, I often see it named "hidden gem" of its season, but by far it's one of the most overrated anime named hidden gem of any season. It's just average with bad animation. It's as intelligent as an ecchi show but all ecchi moments are replaced with LINE ads.
I think they call this type of post "condensed autism" or "incel rage", because it shows a clear lack of experience and ability to understand human emotion. Especially the second half of the first paragraph as well as the evaluation of Konomi Kohara's performance have the potential to cause a lot of a second hand embarrassment.
>This person dislikes what I like
>I'll call him an incel, that'll show him!
You can go back to Yea Forums, Yea Forumsincel.
It is boring as fuck.
I assume that people who hate any form of drama love this show. The lack of drama make them correlate to reality since their strongest relationships are with family members, waifus, and/or husbandos.
>I assume that people who hate any form of drama love this show. The lack of drama make them correlate to reality since their strongest relationships are with family members, waifus, and/or husbandos.
Legit interesting observation. People who seem to like this show never respond to legitimate criticism that this show, that's supposed to have a realistic romance, is devoid of any realistic drama outside of main characters breaking up for no reason. They just start calling names and calling everyone virgins or incels.
Overrated garbage, shallow characters, one dimensional interactions, awful CG, terrible compositing, incompetent direction, just an embarrassment for all those involved. People who think this anime is realistic are sincerely delusional and lacking in sufficient life experience.
> is devoid of any realistic drama outside of main characters breaking up for no reason
Did you not watch the show? The whole thing of Azumi not studying and his parents berating him for it and Mizuno's troubles with her club. The drama is in the show but its not written to be overblown to shit like most shows like to do.
I enjoyed it
While it may not be realistic, it’s still miles better than shoujo shit like Bokura ga Ita by virtue of not having retarded breakup drama and the characters having like a dozen partners before coming back to each other.
That wasn't drama, that was just topics Nozomi and Akane had to talk about because they lack chemistry so hard, they literally have nothing else to talk about.
It's ok, user. You're unable to understand human emotion and relationships, that's fine. But please don't blame the work for it. Your post already starts with a superfluos complaint by pointing out how "not chemistry" is shown. Did it ever occur to you that subtlety of relationships and human interaction were the point of the show? You think it's a coincidence why inner monologues are entirely absent, soft noices and bodylanguage are utilized to convey emotional unrest, how the lyrics of insert songs elaborate on the character's emotional state rather than them doing it themselves?
You claim for the "girl to go apeshit for no reason", when jealousy issues are precisely what define teenage relationships since monery issues are of lesser concern. Additionally it was shown for the characters to be timid and shy, so the fear of being played is even more ingrained in their very natures. They aren't confident enough to just shrug it off. Additionally you believe for a person to need a pinpointed and OBJECTIVE reason to be interested in another human, once again showing your inexperience and complete inability to understand how human relationships are formed in the first place and how superficial the reasons for romantic relationships usually are.
Furthermore you've misinterpreted the ending or outright refused to pay attention to it. Not much of a surprise I might add. Uncertainty had been a central theme from the beginning. Two shy characters can't enter a long distance relationship unless they a) changed and b) made the current circumstances clear to the opposite party. Refusal to fall back to LINE is a), expressing your love is b). Not platitudes this time, a simple phrase that makes all the difference in the world and makes us feel safe in the relationship we are in.
Your post screams incel rage and autism, that's really all there is to it. Or, since autism has become more of a buzzword, simple inexperience.
It was comfy for a LINE ad.
>by virtue of not having retarded breakup drama
>Akane and Kotarou break up in the last episode
Jesus christ.
This is meat eating spaghetti you spilled here, autist. Just because you posted smug anime girl with sunglasses doesn't mean what you said isn't just you incel power fantasy.
Your shitposting game needs more work, user. Nobody’s going to fall for blatant bait like that.
What?
I am sure it is, Doctor
>why am I not being spoonfed chemistry and why is this show not giving me a spreadsheet approved reason for these two characters to be interested in eachother
While I can see that some people see it boring (I said that I have to force myself to continue watching the first part) the writing is good enough to pay it off in the end I think.
But I think if there is someone else who wants to create something like this it has to be in format like Tsurezure Children. This show even has something similar with the ending shorts which are really good. I still wonder why no one else has make something like that because it's very good.
The 5cm/s thread is just 2 blocks away
>The main characters are flat, boring and you don't get clear idea of why they fell for each other and never showed any chemistry
Because they found each other cute, it doesn't have to be that deep. Besides, unlike other romances, the point isn't about why they got together, it's more about how they deal with having their first actual relationship.
>realistic drama
What even counts as realistic drama? Girl sleeps with a bunch of niggers, ends up a single teen mom then marries a cuck? What kind of criticism is this?
I like it. I wish there's more cartoons like this
>their strongest relationships are with family members, waifus, and/or husbandos.
did you forget which website you were on, redditor?
>the text message from her saying she went to mixer and something about semen
Did you? People who have never been in relationships are always the first to comment on the realism of them. They are so desperate to appear knowledgable, even trying to convince themselves in the process. That's how "A needs objectively quantifiable reason to like B" comments come to exist. They think relationships sprout from shared interests or hobbies exclusively. They'd probably go as far as lie about why they werem sexually attracted to thier highschool crush and feed you some bullshit reason instead of simply referring to their urges. Funny thing is, Tsuki ga Kirei's characters even have a shared interrest (traditional Japanese culture).
>That's how "A needs objectively quantifiable reason to like B" comments come to exist.
That kind of thinking has been around longer before internet virgin weebs were even a thing
Internet virgin weebs aren't different to virgins from 30 years ago. Difference is the former group has more of a platform, so it's easier to spot them. You couldn't walk through the streets and point out the virgins passing you. Personally, I've found it impossible to tell who is and who isn't.
You're more out of touch than you think you are if you really believe only virgins have that sort of thinking
>only virgins have that sort of thinkin
Did never claim they are.
best girl
Just go back to /u/. You don't have to stay where you're unhappy. I thought fags knew this better than straights.
My memory is shit so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure those two didn't have an "objectively quantifiable" reason for liking each other. In fact that's the one thing this show made sure to not do, to make these characters more rational with their decisions than they're supposed to be at that age
I crie at the end of both.
Never claimed they did, either. What I got from your post was that the people who think an objectively quantifiable reason is necessary for two people to be interrested in eachother are chads and virgins alike.
Literally the only reason I started watching Tsuki ga Kirei is because I heard Honoka Inoue was in it.
I watched this for the student-teacher relationship.
The greatest romance anime ever. Horribly underrated.
