Far from my favourite but his brutality and lack of qualm about killing can be fun. Part 5 is unique in a way, it's main character and villain are mediocre but the supporting cast and minor antagonists are the best in the franchise

His concept as a character is interesting, even if it's not executed very well.

Part 4 is good because it has a more relaxing and comedic tone and focuses more on character interaction than just having fights for the sake of fights. An arc is dedicated to the characters using their powers to win the lottery, how is that not good? Kira is a pretty nice villain too.
And lets be honest, if we had to right off a part as filler than it would have to be 5. At least Jotaro and Joseph continue their stories in 4, 5 has no relevance in subsequent parts.

We see him going thouhgs a lot of emotions (sadness when he see his father and Zepelli dying or when he think he killed DIO, kidness when he fought bruford, worried when he left his town to fight the zombies without telling Erina) And he have a proper character development unlike Giornio, when he killed his first zombie after DIO first turned into a vampire, he said he felt uncomfortable killing that even if he isn’t human anymore, but after meeting with Zeppeli he realizes he have to kill the evil in this world (aka when he killed tarkus and why he stopped attacking bruford after getting his humanity back).

Nigger I have read part 5 twice and I eagerly awaited for the anime to get produced. Part 5 really only has Bruno, Abbacchio, and the fights going for it, and Freaky Friday while we mad dash for the Deus ex Machina was a horrible final fight.

I legitimately found Diavolo to be one of the most interesting villains in the series, I only like Kira and Valentine more than him.
His Stand is cool, I love the aura of mystery and him just being completely fucking insane made for some great villain moments/monologues.

Giorno has some of the sharpest contrast between the blandness of his character and the sheer badass of his actions. He's practically a side character in his own part but the motherfucker does shit like flawlessly assassinating a mafia bigwig by tricking him into committing suicide. He's got basically no personality but motherfucker recreated missing chunks of his brain and throat on the fly to survive a fatal attack before sending a venomous snake to kill his attacker. He has zero character development whatsoever but motherfucker punched a motherfucker to death for seven pages after making a rhinoceros beetle crawl out of his brain.
I really can't say I think he's a bad character, I don't think he's a very good one but he's not annoying or gratingly obnoxious like a lot of shounen protags. Either way, some of the shit he pulls off is undeniably legendary.

Doppio has split personalities but based on what happened at the Colosseum they each have their own souls as well. Doppio is unaware that he is also Diavolo but Diavolo knows they are split personalities. Diavolo also has supernatural control over the body and soul, he can possess Doppio whenever he wants and only allows Doppio access to some of King Crimson even though it belongs to Doppio too. The body change came from them having their own distinct ages and appearance, but it's not explained how they grew to look so different.
